I guess he didn't actually land it, but I was talking about this-yeahbuddy wrote:I thought the same thing about Diaz, although more like a minor league version of his brother. Diaz's opponent couldnt have been better picked to get him back in the win column.slash4pres wrote:I watched 135 yesterday (or at least the fights the non HW fights, I have no interest in seeing 2 fat fucks lumbering around for 15 minutes because of the high altitude. Nate Diaz looked almost exactly like his brother, but if you ask Goldberg he looks like A. Silva, because he apparently invented dropping the hands. Hughes/Kos went pretty much exactly as I thought it would, neither even bothered with taking it to the ground, and Kos knocked him the fuck out. Hughes' striking looked really good up until he got KOed, though. Jones/Rampage was a worse beatdown than Shogun/Jones, Rampage had nothing to offer him. The one time Rampage actually got a good hit on him, Jones turned into Jessie Owens. It was good to see a LHW champ actually get a non controversial title defense for once.
Rampage actually landed something? The first two rounds I thought were good because it appeared that each fighter was sticking to their game plan, and came off like a game of chess. But by the 3rd round it was obvious that Jones was just wearing Jackson down. With every kick & punch that Jones landed, Jackson was heading down hill to defeat without any chance of landing "the shot".

Jones is too quick to be hit by round houses.
He is pretty much unbeatable, the way i see it.
If you could get inside with him,i would
utilise the uppercut.Getting inside is pretty
damn hard though.
I think Evans will beat him, I just get the feeling in way Evans has been acting since Jones took the title. Evans knows something that about Jones I am sure. I don't know why, but I'm not a Jones fan, I've pretty much support most of his opponents against him, however, I do love this style. Watching him destroy Shogun was hard, but I feel like Shogun has gone down the road of BJ Penn, and he sort of lack motivation some times. In any case, I don't think Shogun has the tools to beat Jones. Also, did anyone notice that Jones had an 11in reach advantage on Rampage?
