Scott Hall is a f'up now, but that story wasnt that bad, i expected worse
its just some lame promoter that wants air time for his bush league promotion. He knows he shouldn't have brought Scott out that night..he's a loser for doing that
why no mention of TNA under Eric B or Hulks name? ha,ha
the classic WWF Razor stuff just awesome
his son wont make it, no character to get into.

I like how they use their younger talents as scapegoats to make their "wellness" policy seem legit, when the older guys are banging pills and juice like nobody's business.Space Bear wrote:http://www.wwe.com/shows/smackdown/slater-suspended

How the fuck does Mason Ryan pass the "wellness policy" ?? The guy is dripping gas!!

My 10 year old son is a HUGE WWE fan, I took him to Summerslam and fan Axess, paid a good amount of coin so he could meet John Cena and get a photo and Autograph, now he has talked me into buying him 2 Pay per view events at like 50 bucks a pop, now he says he wants to watch another $50 pay per view event tommorow, and he wants me to order some belt from the WWE site that costs like $150.00 , This shit is getting way too expensive! Im trying to get him to like the YO-YO, or a slinky.

I agree. I am sure LA will be here soon to mock them but I think it's great that TNA got their highest Thursday night rating ever this week. Yes,LA we all know the number is nowhere near Raw or Smackdown or maybe even the AM Raw rating but for TNA&Spike TV this is great news.SlayerNPG wrote:James Storm's title win was very well done, TNA is so much better than WWE right now its not even funny.
Dixie Carter posted the following on Twitter:
"Two million viewers on Thursday's IMPACT WRESTLING on SpikeTV - our most watched episode ever!!! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!!"
Eric Bischoff also commented:
"Ever notice how the shows that the dirt sites put over get the lowest ratings and the ones they bury get the highest? hmmmm."
The official rating was a 1.35 rating with 2,019,000 viewers. The first quarter did a 1.38, the show peaked with a 1.42 quarter for the Knockouts match, but then dropped to a 1.29 for Angle vs. Storm.

Around here we have places that show the pay per views like Buffalo Wild Wings and Quaker Steak and Lube. You will still spend $ on food but at least you can take him to see the PPV's w/out spending $50 just on the show. Here is a list:STONEBREED wrote:My 10 year old son is a HUGE WWE fan, I took him to Summerslam and fan Axess, paid a good amount of coin so he could meet John Cena and get a photo and Autograph, now he has talked me into buying him 2 Pay per view events at like 50 bucks a pop, now he says he wants to watch another $50 pay per view event tommorow, and he wants me to order some belt from the WWE site that costs like $150.00 , This shit is getting way too expensive! Let's make our picks for the PPV tonight. I put mine in the order I think they will appear on the card. There has to be a break for Dolph in between his 2 matches. I think they are planning on giving the US belt to Mason Ryan so I see Dolph hanging onto it for now.

I was going through that list and a few of the places near me have been closed for sometime now so there may be places closer to you that show the PPV. This list doesn't seem exactly current. Maybe if you google WWE PPV BARS/RESTAURANTS and then your city, you can find some that are closer to you.STONEBREED wrote:Thanks fo the info, nearest one is like 60 miles from my house, so gas both ways, dinner for the family , Bout the same price to buy it at home and order pizza. Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
so why did Dixie hire Hulk and Eric B? before TNA was getting 1.0-1.2 every week mostly. So 18 months later they get 1.3, thats not even counting the last Impact before "the biggest night of the year Bound For Glory" that got what 1.09?
like TNA, thats great, i just don't love the other promotion just because its there.
Stonebreed
your kid is hooked on WWE, few thing you should do
1. buy him the belt he wants, don't go cheap and get it used from another buyer. You buy this belt for your kid he will wear it when he watches WWE, you will enjoy seeing that every time.
2. he still thinks WWE is real so EVERY pay per view your kid feels he must see. If you buy a few events per year you want Royal Rumble,Wrestlemania every year for sure. Then a few "non" important events like the one Sunday. Monday they start the hype for Rocks return for the november pay per view
3. take you kid to 2 or 3 events in LA every year buy him a few things. He will remember those times throughout his life.
tell you kid he can't watch WWE, only TNA. He will stop watching pro wrestling after 2 weeks
tonight, I see HHH helping R Truth and Miz win. Maybe thats the start of a new group HHH,MIz Truth
Del Rio, Henry to win
Ryder could lose, perhaps for a win later on in NYC

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
A number of United States servicemen were in attendence at Sunday’s WWE Vengeance pay-per-view – visiting from the nearby Fort Hood military base.
John Cena debuted a new “Rise Above Hate” t-shirt and debuted a new pair of camouflage shorts, a departure from his signature “jorts” jean shorts ring gear.
Cena announced on Twitter a few months ago that he is planning to change his often-mocked ring gear.
At this point, its unknown whether Cena’s camo shorts are a permanent change – or just a tribute to the Fort Hood soldiers who were in attendance.
Cena’ new “Rise Above Hate” t-shirt is available at the WWE Shop website. Also available are “Rise Above Hate” sweatbands, baseball caps and pendants.

Nice to know what I'll be getting in April when I (hopefully) attend my fourth straight TNA LOCKDOWN PPV.
Credit: PWInsider.com
According to Mike Johnson, there are sources in TNA that believe Hulk Hogan's next match will be him teaming with Garrett Bischoff against Eric Bischoff and Ric Flair.
Johnson says there is talk of having the match at the Lockdown PPV in April but nothing is definite at this point.

That looks amazing. WWE is really great at producing DVD's. The Paul White one is great, for those of you that have seen it. Of course, the DVD's are always just a snapshot of where people are at the moment they film it, but the history and the level of honesty in them is usually pretty great.Angry Jew wrote:Anybody else getting the HBK Vs.Bret Greatest Rivalries 3-disc set tomorrow? Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
My thoughts on the WWE right now:
CM Punk has completely jumped the shark. His persona is lame now, and I completely blame the creative team for that. He was on fire a couple months ago, but now it just seems too forced. I think I'm tired of him trying to impress the marks.
Del Rio is a terrible terrible champion. He would have been a perfect person to keep the IC title for a long time, but he has no credibility in my eyes as champ.
Mark Henry on the other hand is an awesome champ. For years I couldn't stand this guy, but he plays the role of big fat badass perfectly. I never thought he'd ever be champ, but now that he is I think he should stay that way for a long long time.
Randy Orton needs to sell his soul for a personality. If he had any charisma, he could be a mega star, but alas...
Zack Ryder is awesome. I just love how his creativity regarding social media helped save his career. Gotta respect a guy that hustled hard to get what he wanted.
If I hear HHH's music to start another RAW, I might have a stroke. I thought we were done with this guy a few years ago. He has been the biggest detriment to wrestling in the past 10 years
Overall, for something that's meant to be entertainment, it's mostly frustrating, simply because I feel like me and any other Joe Blow could write a far more interesting script for their shows. But like an abused girlfriend, I keep coming back for more

I'm a big CM Punk fan and to me, he's still one of the most interesting things going on in WWE right now, HOWEVER, I do agree that they dropped the ball with him big time and he does seem a bit forced lately in his promos and even the crowd reactions seem so varied from week to week. I hope that he can recapture the fire he had when the whole Cena feud was going on and everything.Royal Dudeness wrote:My thoughts on the WWE right now:

I disagree on Del Rio. I love Del Rio. He seems like such an old school heel that I can't not like him. And the matches with him and Punk should be great.
I'd definitely rather have Henry as a champ than Orton. You hit the Orton nail on the head. However, I've never been a Big Show fan, and his feud with Henry bores me.
I haven't bit into the Ryder chewing gum like everyone else on the internet seems to have, but i do agree with you and think it's awesome that he was able to force himself on McMahon and the creative team by get thimself over via the internet. The guy gave a whole new meaning to earning your shot.
And again, as someone who have never given a fuck about HHH, I pretty much agree with you. And I love Nash, always have. And I was excited at the possibilities when they first brought him back feuding with Punk and all. But he, like the storylines he's been involved with, have all been disappointing to say the least.
And last night's RAW ending where Cena chose Rock really just came off as lame since they've been advertising The Rock and Cena at Survivor Series for weeks already. And I really hope it's not just a 2 on 2 and they turn it into a traditional SS match.
I'll also add that Ziggler is great.

Cena goes home to his big house, hot wife & millions of dollars. I am sure he isn't losing any sleep. I'll never get the hate for Cena other than people feel he's shoved down our throats. As if he is supposed to say to Vince McMahon "No,Vince, I don't wanna be the biggest star in the company, make movies & get paid tens of millions of dollars because some dorks on the Internet might resent me for it"Space Bear wrote:I think this sums it all up
