Re: Red River Shootout
Fuck Bevo they've fucked up the big 12 its just not the same with no Nebraska.
The big 12 title game from 2 years ago when Nebraska got fucked started the whole downturn.
I hope Mack Brown leaves after this year to become North Carolina's AD and they go back in the shitter for awhile serves them right with all the B.S. they've pulled since joining the big 12.
We were just fine being the big 8 and playing Texas every year now that we became partner's with them we've lost Nebraska,Colorado, probably Missouri that's 3 long time member's,and Texas A&M.
My wish now is for ESPN to lose money with their fucking Longhorn network.

Boomer
Sooner!
The game was a mis-match on paper and proved so on the field.
Just one of those years where Texas has no answer for a top-notch opponent like OU.
Why Texas was even ranked so high(#11) before this game is ridiculous.
They probably will finish out of the top 25 before the year is over.
OU is so strong. There one weakness again might be special teams.
Might have to do with Stoops' vision of placing offense-defense starters on special teams. Those players could be tired or not at full strength, so they get beat for long touchdown returns.

Yeah, I'm a pretty big fan of Choklahoma when they play TX.
Problem is, CAN and WILL Choklahoma win the bowl game that really matters? They fuck that shit up every year, I'm sick of it.

Still stinging from the loss at home a couple days ago.Skate4RnR wrote:Yeah, I'm a pretty big fan of Choklahoma when they play TX.

Where was the defense?
As for the offense, the turnovers were the big difference.
If some of those balls are not given to TT, OU wins the game by maybe 7 points or 10.

The defense wasn't anywhere, we don't have any. I don't know what Turner's gonna be like when it's "his" team. Now he's got a lot of Freshman and guys that Mangino recruited who aren't suited for Turner's play.
WHEN he has "his" team will we be anything? I dunno really.

Re: Red River Shootout
Fatboy don't look so bad now does he
To be fair to you I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and think that it was the university's calling for his fathead that was thier downfall and you weren't on that bandwagon if you were however well you deserve all the rotten tomatoes thrown your way also.
Kansas football had been a joke for a long time before fatboy got there now its just reverting back to its usual self.
As far the chokelahoma(title) I'll put our overall record up against anybody's
as long as your not in the sec
Somewhere between the usc, lsu, boise state bowl games I let go of my passion for the college game.
I still watch and cheer mind you but my fandom is reserved for Sunday's only now.
Go Steelers go and whoever plays Dallas

Re: Red River Shootout
Look, who gives a shit about the Jayhawks? We're talking about one of the big contenders from my conference that shits the fucking bed every time they reach a fucking bowl game. Doesn't that bother you?
I'm saying I want OU to win a fucking bowl game, not kicking dirt in their faces. That's why they're called Choklahoma, everybody watches them year after year fuck it up.

OU football was won two consecutive bowl games.Skate4RnR wrote:Look, who gives a shit about the Jayhawks? We're talking about one of the big contenders from my conference that shits the fucking bed every time they reach a fucking bowl game. Doesn't that bother you?

What's the problem?
I know, I know, you are referencing the previous 3 losses and previous 5 losses in 6 bowl games.
I get it.
Hey, maybe Stoops has finally turned this around and will get
the team to win their 3rd consecutive bowl game this season.

Re: Red River Shootout
HUGE win by OU on the road Saturday.
K. State clearly did not deserve to be ranked so high.
I would not be surprised if they lose again this week.
Anyway, why OU was flat the other week and looked like a team that was ready to play at K. State is still a mystery.

See Skate this is what I was talking about earlier when I said I still cheered for them, but the passion is gone.
Fucker's will break your heart everyfuckin time and when you get down to it any Big 12 champ will do the same(OSU) #1 AND 2 are both SEC teams let LSU and Alabama have another shot.
It pisses me off too to have say it but the SEC is at another level than the rest of the conferences.
P.S. have fun next year Texas A and M and Missouri you fuckin turncoats you couldn't be Big 12 champs now your just gonna be bottom feeders.
