Never would've thought that he'd end up being worse than Jeff... but wow, he needs some serious help.

You and us both. Mrs. Space Bear just read the article and said, "I thought Jeff was the one with the drug problem."silent_eyes wrote:Never would've thought that he'd end up being worse than Jeff... but wow, he needs some serious help.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
GREAT PPV!
Truly one of the most entertaining ppv's I've seen in a long time.
-The opener with Ziggler and Jomo was a great way to kick off the show. Ziggler is fucking awesome. I also like how they threw Ryder in there
-The Divas match did the job with an awesome finisher from Beth Phoenix
-The traditional survivor series match up was fun, as they typically are. Hopefully Barrett can put it all together and carry a good push going forward
-The Big Show/Mark Henry match will forever be remembered for Big Show's elbow drop off the top rope. I don't care if the rest of the match was mundane, that was awesome!
-The CM Punk/Del Rio match was excellent. That was pretty much everything that could have been asked for. I really do wonder where CM Punk goes from here. I can only imagine there's going to be a rematch between the 2 at the next ppv. I really thought CM Punk was going to win the Rumble and challenge for the title, now, who the hell knows.
-The main event with Rock/Cena vs Awesome Truth was a fun one. The Rock STILL has it. He puts Cena to shame with the moves he's able to execute with ease 7 years after his last match.
Great stuff WWE, great stuff.

I'd agree with you on all of that, though watching the show, Henry/Show was a bit of a clunker (though the elbow drop was cool).Royal Dudeness wrote:GREAT PPV!

Great stuff WWE, great stuff.
I think we'll see Punk with the belt through Wrestlemania, though I do wonder what feud he'll get in after Del Rio. Del Rio/Punk will last through TLC.
As long as it's not Triple H, I'll be happy. I think Miz or Ziggler will be contenders.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I only saw the Punk and Rock matches. Was so glad (and surprised) to see them give the belt to Punk. Made me even angrier that I didn't get tickets to SS. But personally, I thought the match with the Rock was terrible and I hate that when Punk finally gets his title, he has to play second fiddle to that lame match .
As for who he feuds with after the inevitable 10 rematches with Del Rio? I would LOVE to see Jericho come back and win the Rumble to face Punk at Wrestlemania. That would be killer.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
If the WWE wasn't a publicly traded company, Cena going heel MIGHT happen. But as it stands, he is their poster boy, like it or not. While CM Punk resonates the most with the adults right now, Cena is that vanilla flavour character that can carry the company.Yut343 wrote:So John Morrison losing pretty much confirms that he's leaving the WWE?
Any speculation on when (or if) Cena will turn heel anytime soon? I'd like to hear some thoughts on that.
Punk is loved by the marks first and foremost, which since we're posting about this shit online, I'm assuming most of us are just that, marks. Cena is loved by the casual fan, the type of fan that the WWE cares most about right now

I don't think they'll turn Cena heel. Not unless they plan on taking the product in a darker and edgier direction again, which isn't completely impossible if they let Punk run the show as champion, but I really don't see it happening.
But IF they were to do it, the best time would be to tie it into the Rock storyline, especially with Cena getting booed like crazy tonight.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
News came today that his contract actually ran out last night and they signed him to a tiny deal to finish out the month. I do think he'll end up staying around. He's actually won a match or two over the last couple weeks and then they gave him a PPV match. Looks like they're trying to keep him, cause I'm sure if he was leaving they'd bury him HARD.Yut343 wrote:So John Morrison losing pretty much confirms that he's leaving the WWE?

Not positive but after CM punks match, when he climbed up on the turnbuckle to celebrate he had a boner. WTF, then he was sitting down in the ring waiting on it to die down lol. Fags...

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
I think you answered your own question a post ago.Yut343 wrote: Anyone have any speculation to who the "It Begins, 2012" ad was about?
It's probably going to be something disappointing and predictable like The Undertaker, but it COULD and hopefully WILL be Jericho. A lot of speculation going on, including what you already posted would make sense for Y2J and would be absolutely awesome. And his constantly denying coming back to the WWE anytime soon via Twitter and other media outlets could all be a work so people are really surprised when he does come back so soon.
And again, I would LOVE to see a Jericho/Punk feud. Would be the best wrestling seen in the WWE in more than a decade.
