If Brady was out this year Belichick would have found a way to win a couple of games at least. I think Mallett would have been put in there at some point. Hoyer sucks. I've been watching the Patriots since the early 70's and I've never seen such a bad backup QB there. He is certainly the worst NE backup QB of the past 20 years. That guy couldn't get a 1st down against a Pop Warner team. He's useless. The only reason he's getting any playing time at all is because he's going to be released and Belichick is trying to raise his value so he can get a draft pick for him.

I'm not a big McCourty fan. The guy should be in the burn unit for as many times as he got torched in the 4th Qtr yesterday. I think the defense performed better the past few games with him out. When he's out they scheme differently, when he's in there they give him the responsibilities of a #1 Corner, which he is clearly not.

Because of the easy schedule the Patriots should make the playoffs, but I don't see them winning a single game with that defense. If they can't protect a 28 point 4th quarter lead against a lousy team they are in for it. Belichick almost has no choice but to run up the score. The defense is bad, and the offense works best in the no-huddle and hurry modes. That's their defense - putting up lots of points and forcing the opponent to go one dimensional and toss INTs.

That's been their MO for 2 years. And I don't think it's a coincidence that cuntface Schwartz came from the Tennessee organization. Fisher's teams were always cheap shot, thug bitches.

Suh sure did look Haynsworthish on Turkey Day. The Titans were always chippy under Fisher, but Detroit takes it up a notch or two. I've never seen a team so undisciplined.

Fucking timeout cost Dallas the win. Why does this team have a very difficult time playing at Cardinals???

The replay clearly showed the kicking coach was asking Garret to call a time out there.
I guess the kicking coach was afraid the players were not going to line-up and snap the ball before the play clock ran out.
Fine. I can live with that.
What is inexcusable is that the players could line-up in time to snap the ball.
Where was the problem? Do all 11 players understand they need to take the field in a timely manner and do their job?

Adam Schefter just tweeted that Brett Favre would 'absolutely' listen if the Bears called. I just threw up in my mouth.

I already said I've written the season off, but if the Bears signed Favre I wouldn't even watch.

We would all watch. That shit would be awesome, and truly distill what the ole' gunslinger has been trying to whittle his career down to for years:

Fuck just skipping training camp - now he'll just come in at the end of the season for a possibly playoff-bound team. I love it!

In all truth, what the fuck do the bears and their fans have to lose, besides your dignity?

It's either McNabb, Favre, or Hanie. Pick your poison.

Really, do it now. Choose!

How much money do you need to live in Mississippi? He'd get what, 500K or so? I'd walk into a church service in nothing but Slayer boxers for 500K, but I don't have Favre money. Is he just hell bent on destroying his legacy entirely?

2 REDSKIN players have been suspended by the NFL for the remainder
of the season due to violating league substance abuse policy.

Trent Williams and someone named Davis.

That's TE Fred Davis. He's actually one of the lone bright spots on the Skins offense. It really doesn't matter -they are suspended for the last 4 games of another shitty season. If anything it'll help us get a better draft pick. Of course if they fuck up again, it's a whole season.

It's pot. Pretty ridiculous that they drug test these guys for pot. Word is they were smoking during the lockout when they weren't even techinically employees of the NFL.

They should be drug testing management - more specifically coach Jason Garrett.

The self-icing will surely live on in infamy, especially if it ends up costing them the division.

I wish the league would include just when the perps broke the rules.
I.E. did they smoke pot in the last week or did they smoke pot 12 weeks ago, etc......
About Dallas, get the story straight. Right away the media shows how lazy they are by stating the head coach "iced" the kicker.
The comment is stupid and does not make sense.
What happened was the coaches did not believe the kick would get off before the play clock went to 0. So a TO was called.
How that translates to "icing' your own kicker is ridiculous.

Right. So, long story short, Dallas iced their own kicker.

If they had NOT called timeout right before the snap, the kick would have counted.

And there were like 5 fucking seconds left on the playclock! So why did they think they were in danger of a delay of game?!

Whatever you want to call it, obviously a monumental fuck up by Garrett.

I don't know, I was not there.
I did not see if the players were lined up correctly or if the right personnel was on the field, etc...
The kicking coach told the head coach to call the TO. That I saw for myself when Fox showed that footage.

For someone who wasn't there and doesn't claim to know anything about it, you sure have strong opinions on the matter.

It was buffoonery, plain and simple. At some point, just let the fucker kick it. You call timeout when you need to, and they didn't need to.

Like I said, there was plenty of time on the play clock, their kicker was lined up, and everything was set. There was no reason to do it, except that they obviously wanted to be featured on tonight's "Come on Man!" on ESPN.

Mission accomplished.

Archie Manning doesn't think Peyton and Luck want to be on the same team. But what does he know?
“I don’t think it’d necessarily be great for either one,” Archie Manning told FOX Sports Radio’s Zakk & Jack Show on Tuesday. “I think Andrew’s the type of mature player . . . he can walk right in. I mean, these other three or four guys that are playing this year, [if] they can walk in and contribute, Andrew can, too. . . .

“We know Andrew well. He comes down to our camp every year. I used to play with his dad [Oliver]. . . . I’m in New York, I heard from him last night. Peyton’s also tried to help Andrew and kind of be a friend. I doubt if either one want to play on the same team.”

So Archie is saying they don't want to be on the same team because they are "kind of friends". the first family of the NFL is douchey as fuck. And he talks about what Luck wants. How the fuck does he know that? He just doesn't want anybody beating his son out.

Peyton Manning is going to look really funny wearing a Dolphins jersey next year, or wherever he ends up.

 I was listening to the radio on the way home today and they had one of the Texans wives on talking about a charity drive they're doing at some store this week. A guy called in and said, "Is Garcia's wife gonna be there?"
