Am I crazy thinking the Lakers trade was far superior instead of that Clippers trade. I thought the Lakers were giving up a lot for him.

Yes, the Lakers/Rockets trade was a much better trade.
Look what the Hornets got- Gordon (cant stay healthy), Kaman (doesnt play), and who else did they get? If they got any draft picks, they wont amount to anything.
At least with the Laker/Rocket trade- Odom, Sciola, & if not mistaken Martin. All solid players that will give you numbers AND minutes.

I thought it was hilarious when all of the fallout hit from Stern vetoing the trade, he was on all the talkshows trying to do damage control.
