Manning’s deal is expected to be worth $90 million-plus over five seasons
Be interesting to see on two points.. Whether he can remain healthy after that surgery and playing in Denver's weather conditions after playing so long in a covered stadium..

Elway really screwed ole Tebow with this one. I'd punch that Indian giver right in his fucking face if I was Tebow. But no he will go out gracefully. So I guess Manning goes from being a baby horse to a wild horse. Oh well fuck em all GO SKINS!!
Elway and the Broncos are doing the right thing.
If a team can upgrade at the most important position of QB, then by all means a team should do that.
Peyton is too much of a pussy to play in the NFC because of his brother, so he is choosing another door.
Not sure if this team gives him the best chance to win another SB, but that's not for me to say.
Elway bullshitting everyone that Tebow would or could be the #1 QB in camp this summer. The karma will play out with Manning get fucking crushed in the season opener and being carted off for good. The Lord works in mysterious ways, even in football.

That is very possible.
But Elway is running a team, not a popularity contest.
There are so many QB's in the NFL that are >Tebow. Manning is just one of them.
Broncos are taking a huge risk when it comes to his health, but if healthy, Manning is a major upgrade at the position.

Elway is jealous of him plain and simple. He is one of the biggest assholes here in Denver.
No brainer IMO. Denver is on the verge of making noise in the AFC and Manning is a huge upgrade over Tebow. Tebow may be popular, but chances are he wouldn't/couldn't maintain the high wire act on the field. Bottom line, if you get the chance to get a 80% Manning you take it over a 100% Tebow.
If the new owner in Jacksonville were smart he'd be the first on the phone for a trade. They need a way to put butts in the seats, and those Floridians loves them some Tebow.
It's hard for me to get used to these changing times. I can remember when the air was clean and sex was dirty.

Elway is a smart guy and he knows a real QB when he sees one. He also knows a shitty QB impersonating a good one when he sees one too.
This is a pretty good situation for Manning I think - if he can deal with the cold during the playoffs. Which he can't. Or if he can win on the road in the playoffs. Which he can't.
So in the end I don't think this ends up with a Super Bowl ring for the Broncs or Manning, but it won't be a Namath to LA style disaster either.
As for Tebow, he'll either become a Fullback or something or disappear like a Gino Toretta fart in the wind. He's a phony when it comes to QBing. Could see him doing the Heath Shuler Congress run in Florida at some point.
what is Elway a former car salesman, what did he just do? he sold Manning on an on the Broncos.
Elway thinks a "broken down 36 Colt" is the answer. What are the Broncos? they went 8-8 with Tebow most coming from entertaining"miracle" wins, you would think Manning would see what Denver really is a an 8-8 team that should have been 5-11 at best. Would Manning want to come to an 5-11 team? i think not
Now that Denver went from a last place schedule to a 1st place schedule, Broncos with the "5-11" team will be lucky to go 6-10 with Manning. It will be a different kind of "fun" season for Broncos. What week will the Tebow chants start? Week 6 after starting 2-4?
when Tebow goes to Miami, the Mania will never stop, Marino will be grateful for the QB that landed in the Dolphins arms
Mannning seems to be a loser, if he truly wanted to win "now" 49ers could have won next 3 years easy

Jani Lane and Bret Michaels should form a band called "Nelson II"

Manning is fucked, he cut win now with the team or the fans
mark my words
Tebow's career is now on a downward plane.
No chance he will return to the playoffs as a NFL QB.
He will be jumping from team to team for several years before
being out of the league for good.
Tebow will blame every single organization instead of the lack of talent in his left arm.
I can't peg Manning. I've been here in Indy for 5 years and I still can't get a good read on him. I worked in local television for 3 years and I never saw the guy out in public...even at his own fundraisers. Even when the children's hospital that bears his name had a big event...it was Archie making the appearance, not Peyton. I tend to get more of the "prima donna" element though. This whole team search was obviously more about "what can you do for me" than any question of what can I offer to the team.

Why the fuck shouldn't it be?
He's earned it.
This is likely the one and only time in his whole career he decides where he goes, and it's probably his last contract.
There's an element of this that is expected. And while Manning didn't chose Indy, he certainly influenced every element of the team after he got there. They just built a multi-million dollar stadium with a roof that's only been open for one game 'cause Peyton always wants it closed. And do you really think Caldwell would have been the coach without him? I don't think so.
Manning is a hard worker and has earned his keep. I just don't get any vibe of humbleness from him and I really don't like that.
Interesting. I wouldn't have done it, as Manning has a losing playoff record, got lucky against the Bears in their only Superbowl W and the fact that Peyton is one hit from a Samoan juiced to the gills on roids from retirement.
Then again, it is an upgrade from Tebow, whom I see playing in the CFL within five seasons.

You don't know anything about football, so why don't you go back to writing about things that you do know about.

Congratulations to Peyton, Denver is a good fit. And congrats to Denver, not only can they get rid of Tebow, they now get to replace him with the greatest QB of all time. That's going to be a very good team. Sounds like Peyton's gonna try to get the band together by recruiting Saturday, Stokley, Clark, and possibly Addai to join him. It's gonna be like Colts west!

A 9-10 playoff record is hardly amazing. Plus would you want a nearly washed up QB at the helm of your team that missed all of last season? Not I.
