He still has to rehab fully from the injury and then get into game shape and prove his neck can take it. He's going to have to deal with the weather which he hasn't proven he could do even in his prime. And he'll always be one big hit from being re-injured. Then there is always the adjustment bringing in a new offensive system. San Diego, which has absolutely owned him, gets to play him twice a year. If everything goes right they could be 10-6, but more likely a 7 to 8 win team. There are just too many questions.

Ok then. Show us when he ever won a game in below average conditions. Please, go ahead. When did he ever beat the Pats in Foxboro during the playoffs? Green Bay in December? You know, so we can keep up and all.
And are you marking words about a super bowl in Denver, or anything like that?
Or are you out of the "MARK MY WORDS" business?

Below average conditions? Um, wasn't it pouring rain in Miami when Peyton led the Colt to victory? Yes, that's right, it was POURING rain the WHOLE game. What about in 02 when Peyton led us to victory against Denver at mile high, in the cold and blowing snow? What about the stats? Peyton's lifetime QBR in games under 40 degrees is 92.5. His complete stats in all games under 40 degrees over his last five seasons:
165-235, 2132 yards, 16 TDs, 9 INT (70.2%, 9.1 ypa, 105.1 QB rating)
Not bad! But I won't let stats and facts get in the way of your false misconceptions and myths!

He doesn't have a record, he's not a pitcher. In the NFL, players are not given a record as part of their stats because it's a team game. You need to read a fucking book about football.Rainbow Bright wrote:What's his playoff record again?poizond13 wrote: Below average conditions? But you cannot win a title without a good QB. You can win a World Series with a shitty pitcher on the roster or the Finals with a below average Point Guard in the line-up. The same cannot be said with the QB position in the NFL.poizond13 wrote:He doesn't have a record, he's not a pitcher. And remember this, The Bears could have won that game if not for Sexy Rexy at the QB. Think about that for a moment. Your boy was thisclose by being punked out by Rex Grossman: the 'Toine Walker of football.

Re: Manning to be a Bronco
For those who don't think Peyton Manning is a "clutch" QB, take a look at the numbers. The #s prove that your delusions are not reality.
Peyton Manning has led 35 fourth quarter comebacks and 46 game winning drives. "Mr. Clutch" Tom Brady has led 25 4th quarter comebacks and 35 game winning drives. Yes, that's right, Peyton has 11 more game winning drives than Brady. Johnny Unitas had 40 game winning drives, Joe Montana had 33, Brett Favre had 45. Once again, Peyton Manning has had FORTY SIX game winning drives and counting. More than Brady, Johnny U, Montana, and Favre.
But once again, don't let actual facts get in the way of your delusions.

Re: Manning to be a Bronco
Yes, there have been teams that won a Super Bowl with a shitty QB. What about Trent Dilfer? Brad Johnson? Jeff Hostetler? Any of those names ring a bell? A team can win the Super Bowl with a below average QB if the rest of their team is good enough. It's happened many times and will happen again.Rainbow Bright wrote: But you cannot win a title without a good QB. And I don't believe in "what ifs." The Colts won that game handily. I don't really care what would have happened if the Bears had Dan Marino at QB.

Re: Manning to be a Bronco
I'm not talking about how many teams you "have been" a fan of, though to be fair, you are a man of mystery.
You claim to live in Indiana and Chicago at the same time, and I've heard others say you were once a Bears fan, which wouldn't surprise me. But that's neither here nor there.
The question at hand is: Since you are STILL giving Peyton Manning an uninterrupted blow job I think it's fair to ask if you are now a Denver Broncos fan?
Will you now be champion both THE COLTS ROAD BACK TO RESPECTABILITY and PEYTON WILL TAKE THE BRONCOS TO THE SUPER BOWL at the same time?
Or are you ready to let Peyton Manning go?
If you aren't a Broncos fan now, he is no longer yours.

Why would I add that to the MARK MY WORDS thread?
That's strictly for retarded predictions you have made that have turned out completely false.
There are some fucking doozies in there for sure. That's why nobody reads those ridiculous long posts you make - we know they are just bullshit word salad and would rather pass on that buffet.
I feel bad for you sometimes....you are clearly frustrated that I haven't answered your questions, but I haven't even read most of them. If you want an honest response from people don't bury it under a compost heap of manure. Nobody is reading that shit. You are all bluster, and you are always wrong. No reason to read it man.
Sorry, but that's the hole you've dug for yourself.
Back on the subject - I assume my prediction is correct. I won't MARK MY WORDS, but I'm quite sure there will be dueling bullshit threads from you in 2012.
THE COLTS ARE REBUILDING AND WILL BE AWESOME SOON
and
PEYTON MANNING THE GREATEST EVER IS KICKING ASS IN DENVER.
I have no problem with this, as it will be fun burying you in threads about two teams rather than one.
Remember, it's never too soon for you to MARK YOUR WORDS on some shit. Let's hear it.

Of course Tebow was the #1 QB going into training camp at the time. He was the only QB in the Bronco's system that was signed for the 2012 season.
Anybody with an ounce of football knowledge knew that the Broncos did not have Tebow in their long term plans. The Broncos football operations department is to do one thing: win Superbowls, not popularity contests. The Broncos have a better chance to win a Superbowl with Manning as their QB than with Tebow as their quarterback.

Elway has offered Manning
5 yrs/$95 million
Negotiations are ongoing regarding how much money is guaranteed and how the Broncos can protect themselves in case Manning suffers an injury to his neck before playing a game in a Broncos uniform.
