I think Fedor who's my #1 fav of all time would get killed as JDS is just too fast at this point for Fedor. I just in my heart know Dana would love to put him in there as he's still a name more than most heavies and the likelyhood of JDS killing him is high so for Dana he'd be killing 2 birds with 1 stone. Fedor is one of the few on earth who thumbed his nose at the UFC years ago when he turned down a reported $5,000,000 to fight Lesnar so I'm sure Dana has held a grudge since that day.

I think JDS would beat him too, but he has a much better chin than Mir. I mean, obviously neither Hunt or Fedor in a title fight is out of the question, there are 3 heavyweights on the card that are higher in rankings, but I still think Hunt and Fedor would give JDS way more problems.

I mean I think Mir if he's the guy will be the smartest guy JDS has ever fought and he might be able to bait him into a submission. Fedor if he got into a legit camp instead of just training with his buds over in Russia could still be good but that's probably never going to happen with M-1 guiding him. i mean how good would he be if he went to say AKA and trained side by side with Cormier,Velasquez and Koschek? Hunt would be good in a straight striking match but to me his problem will be a pretty poor gas tank if it went into later rounds and by later for him I mean half way into the 2nd!!

IMO they will probably take Werdum out of his fight with Mike Russow. Everyone else that makes sense is locked into an important fight (cormier, mir, cain, barnett) or aren't high enough in the rankings (Hunt, Fedor, Browne, Carwin). It would be interesting to see now that Werdum knows he shouldn't stand and bang with him.

What about Dan Henderson?
Would that work? JDS isnt that much bigger than him, is he?
Whatever is going on, there's gotta be some serious negotiations
happening. Dana has been very quiet the last few days.
Whoever fights JDS, I'm sure it will be out of left field because
it seems he wants to keep the card intact as it is.

Hendo would work, but JDS would massacre him.

I wish they would do Barnett.

Grand Prix is pointless now anyways.

I've heard Hendo tossed around but I don't see it happening. bothe Middleweight and LHW are lacking contenders right now so I don't see Dana/Joe Silva making that match. I think it would end in Hendo getting knocked out for the first time, but Hendo is always potentially a punch away from ending a fight, so you never know

It's kind of funny but I thought about Hendo for a second too. He's probably a bit overmatched sizewise against JDS but I'm sure he'd take the fight given what a warrior he is. I just don't think Werdum/JDS is marketable right now but I guess it's the only choice outside of a long bomb like Fedor which i know isn't likely but MMA fans would still get pumped for that.

I thought the same thing, but I dont think Brock wants to get hit or kicked the way he did in his last fight. And he is too busy becoming the next wrestling star again.
Not counting the UFC tv show, can you believe its been almost two months since the last UFC fight night? Cant wait for next week & definitely looking forward to the Jones/Evans fight!

Cool 6 minute interview w/Jon Jones & Rashad Evans.
Evans gets under JJ's skin a bit. I think Jones is going
to win, but I'd like to see Evans knock him out.

Watched that video the other day....they definitely have that big brother little brother type of relationship going on. Jon saying all he has to watch out for from Evans is a big right hand or a takedown leads me to believe he's going to fight a cautious fight....kinda like the Machida fight where he got caught. There is a video of Evans commentating on the Jones Rampage fight saying people need to be far outside or right in Jon's chest. i'm hoping Evans is effective in using that speed to get in and out really quick. I also have no doubt that Evans will put Jones down at some point in that fight.

Evans is probably the smartest fighter that Jones has ever fought.
How about during the Machida fight, in between rounds Jones was
startled by what Machida was able to do against him. Then Jones
got a shot in, & that pretty much ended Machida's night.
I hope its a good fight that goes some rounds. I want to see Jones
be challenged in a fight.

Fuck! I'm gonna be working late tomorrow and I will miss the PPV. Anyone know of any sites that have the fights up afterwards? I usually go to fight-next.com but a lot of times their videos won't work for me.

I go to that site as well & I would say half of the fights I want to watch do not work.

Mir is fighting JDS. And as of now, no opponent for Cain V.

Anyone watch the Alvarez Aoki fight? Nice GnP finish from Alvarez, proved that timing is everything when jumping into the guard of an experienced Blackbelt like that. I really wanna see this guy in the ufc.

Didnt see it. I'm going to have to look that up.

Anyone notice that Joe Rogan has a shaved head now?
He needs to grow his hair back. It looked fine the way
it was.
Now he looks like a middle eastern meat head.

Pretty boring main event but the rest of the fights were solid. Rory MacDonald is the real deal. Wow. I look forward to seeing him get better and move up the ranks.

Impressed with Jones, but yeah,, boring main event. Evans looked like he was just trying to survive. Once Jones landed those elbows, Evans appeared to have been frozen with any kind of offense.
Rory McDonald slaughtered that guy. Of course the guy was a tin can.
How embarrassing was it for Brenden Schaub after he got knocked out he was fighting the air? The guy has no chin whatsoever.
I thought the undercard was solid and the main event a snooze.

I disagree, Mills is a good fighter. MCDonald is just that good.
