Raw was actually really good tonight. Thought it was a better all-around show than last week as well. We actually got matches that lasted long than a minute, which I was hoping they would do since they have plenty of time now. The Sheamus/Daniel Bryan match could've easily been a PPV match and I really enjoyed it.

It seems they are pretty focused right now and I hope they continue down that path and don't get lazy.

WWE Issues Apology For ‘Kobe Bryant Rape Joke’

WWE issued an official apology Tuesday after a personality made an off-color remark during Monday’s Raw broadcast referencing NBA player Kobe Bryant’s sexual assault case in 2003 and 2004.

As Titus O’Neil tangled with Kofi Kingston in a singles match, A.W., who wearing a live mic, yelled from ringside, “Titus O’Neil is like Kobe Bryant at a hotel in Colorado hotel room. He’s unstoppable!!”

In 2003, Bryant was accused of sexual assault after having sex with a hotel employee in Colorado. In September 2004, prosecutors dropped the case after his accuser refused to testify. A civil suit was later filed and settled out of court.

A WWE spokesman issued a statement to TMZ.com stating, “A.W. made an inappropriate comment and WWE immediately apologized. WWE has taken appropriate action in the matter.”

WWE sources tell TMZ that A.W. “felt horrible” after making the remark and claimed he simply “got caught up in the moment.” He also realizes the remark to could be hurtful to rape victims and their families.

A.W. immediately apologized to company brass, including the McMahon family, and several wrestlers and has also vowed to refrain from making similar remarks in the future.

In the coming days, you can expect numerous media outlets to pick this story up as well as the fire before RAW. Expect tons of negative backlash for the rape story. It’s very possible we’ll see a suspension issued for A.W. later today. We’ll keep you posted.


I'd say he ends up getting 60 days off.

Also, Tyson Kidd's push is a long time coming, but getting a win over Albert by getting squashed is not what I had in mind.

Yea I know I'm just too lazy to bother with it.

I'm not sold on watching TV shows on my computer monitor I guess I'm old school that way.

Besides I have the universal channel and on Saturday's they replay both Raw and Smackdown back to back it seems like 5 or 6 times in a row.

3 hours seems like a long time to me for a show and I don't think it will last but if from what you guys have reported about some matches actually lasting longer than 5 minutes well its not all bad I guess.

Don't know if any of you guys watch Big Brother on CBS, but last night one of the contestants, Frank, revealed that his dad is Sid Vicious. Then they showed Sid at home with his family watching the show....Frank said that he and his dad don't get along that great and don't speak too often
