What's the simple trick? Stand up to your side when they do something you'd be against if the other side did it.
Republicans... Bush spent money like a drunkin' sailor, lied about why we went to war, wasting the lives of our military men and women and you stayed quiet.
Democrats... Obama has kept Gitmo open, extended the patriot act, and gave life to indefinite detention and you stayed quiet.
Why? If the other side did these things you'd be freaking out over it.
