Not bad for a guy who has a rep for losing the game when it counts.
It's the first fucking game of the year. It doesn't "count".
damn, that's some P-13 type shit there.
It really is.
I think as a Lions fans Redman has just been bludgeoned into some kind of stupidity none of us will ever fathom. All of those years of the Lions going 1-0 and then finishing in last place have probably convinced him that indeed, the first game of the year doesn't count.
Good riddance, you son of a bitch. Steal my team; fuck you.

That's a pretty stupid thing to say.
It's not like it's fucking preseason.
Last I checked 1-0 "counts."
He made it sound like Homo is a clutch QB because the first game of the season. Don't choke in the playoffs and then you can say he won a game when it counts.
So kiss my ass fuckers.

Not saying Dallas is going to the SB, but they looked pretty damn good in the second half and won a division/conference game on the road. Even if NY wins their next game and the Cowboys lose, they're still up on the Giants because they beat them. That's a bad loss for NY.

Tell that to every team who has ever missed the playoffs by one game. The Cowboys were one win away from the playoffs last year. If they didn't lose that first game they blew against the Jets, it might have been a different story.

I just heard that the players suspended in the Saints bounty scandal have had them overturned by a 3 member panel (missed who they are), no word on coaches.
Now confirmed on ESPN.

Word. I'm pretty much positive Goodell will just suspend them again next week, but that guy has way too much power and too big an ego. It's nice to see him smacked down a bit.

Agreed. Romo looked awesome. I'm not ready to change my mind about his choke artist rep, but big D played big in that game and NY is in a hole already.
During this summer of quarterback talk, the most interesting and thought-provoking statement came from a Colts executive who declared that he believed Luck already is "one of the top five quarterbacks in football."
Think about that. Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Tom Brady, Eli Manning, Peyton Manning, Matthew Stafford, Cam Newton, Ben Roethlisberger. And yet this Colts executive believes Luck is better than at least two of those quarterbacks. And he was not alone.
One NFL coach who watched Luck play this summer said he also would include Luck in a list of the game's top five quarterbacks. Another NFL executive said Luck is the most well-prepared quarterback to enter the NFL. Ever. Three men, three glowing opinions.
It all seems like so much, so soon. Yet rookie quarterbacks seem to be making plenty possible these days.
BIG THINGS ARE COMING!
A NEW ERA BEGINS SUNDAY!!!!!
