This is frankly the most amazing thing I've ever seen you type, and that's something.

Well ok, I guess we'll see. I don't think you've EVER taken a loss here without offering up excuses. But nice to see you are growing up. I look forward to this new era of transparency and maturity from P13.
If you fall for this shit, you're dumber than him. he is just saying that because the refs sucked hind titty in Luck's first win and he knows it. Wihen it goes against him, it will be the reason hs team lost.

Machado wrote:Seattle Seahawks wide receiver Golden Tate was fined $21,000 for a blindside block on Dallas Cowboys linebacker Sean Lee, a source said.

Tate was not penalized for the hit, a crackback block that occurred when Lee was in pursuit of scrambling Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson.

Tate launched himself into Lee, striking him in the chest and chin with the crown of his helmet. Lee, who landed on his back with his feet in the air, was evaluated for a concussion and returned to the game later that series.

The hit was illegal because Lee was considered a defenseless player since he couldn't see the blow coming.

"I knew that I didn't hit him in his helmet," Tate said after the game. "I hit him somewhere down here (at chest level). But the rules change so much that you never really know."

The Cowboys were bothered by Tate celebrating the hit by strutting and flexing his muscles while Lee was still on the ground, although Lee called that kind of hit part of the game.

"Crackback hits, that's not a definition of toughness," Lee said Wednesday. "A definition of toughness is hitting, squaring up, being able to do your job as hard as you can every single play. That's at least what I believe. Anybody can crackback block."

This is why each year I lose more and more interest in the National Fairy League. The rules have really pussified down the game since growing up. We lived for the hits and toughness. Shit like horse collars, crackbacks and even touching a QB draws a flag. It's really weak. The second biggest hit I've taken was from a crackback and it's still a legal play in our league all I remember is when I eventually got up I didn't cry to a ref. I don't remember anyone ever crying to a ref for any good hit yet in the NFL.

EVERY SOLID HIT draws flags. Fucking gay.

Found an old read about the Raiders new shitty coach.

Raiders coach Cable takes play calling away from Knapp: November 12, 2008

Interim head coach Tom Cable has taken over the play-calling duties for the Oakland Raiders from offensive coordinator Greg Knapp in another move to spark the NFL's lowest-scoring offense.

Cable said that he relieved Knapp of his duties before last week's 17-6 loss to the Carolina Panthers and would remain in that role for the rest of the season.

"I feel responsible for where we're at offensively," Cable said. "With that being the case and my nature and my personality I've got to find a way to do more and help where I can. I really haven't been active in that role, obviously as the line coach, but I feel that responsibility now and want to shoulder that responsibility so I'm more involved."

Knapp was replaced after the worst offensive output for the Raiders in 47 years, when they gained just 77 yards and had a franchise-low three first downs in a 24-0 loss to the Falcons. Things picked up a bit in Cable's first game calling plays, with Oakland gaining 259 yards and making 17 first downs against the Panthers.

Oakland sucks, they don't have anyone who can catch the ball, weak LB's and DB's but whoever gave Knapp the job should be fired.....Right after they send Knapp walking.

Just shooting the shit.....

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Seattle is an interesting team, a sleeper for making the wildcard.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Dallas and the Saints will both be up and down till mid November when both will pick it up and make a race for the playoffs. Dallas will choke again.

---------------------------------------------------------------------

Arizona are pretenders. The 49ers will take the division with ease.

----------------------------------------------------------------

Houston, San Fran, Atlanta and Green bay should be shoe in division winners.

Denver should as well but Manning will either be out or he'll be inconstant game to game. The Bronco's are allowing Manning to be Manning. Denver should be run first and limit Manning's passing audibles. Denver D is strong and might be what put's them over the top, not Manning.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Jet's are a borderline shitty team with two mediocre QB's. Both will be in and out of the line up. Even with their issues, they can still make a run at the division but it will be behind the run and their Defense.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

Pittsburgh, Giants and the Bears will be better second half teams but since the bears suck it wont matter with cutlerfuck at the helm.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

The Redskins aren't going anywhere.

I agree with most of that. I think Denver will continue to get stronger as they gel with Manning and San Diego will fade.

Not sure if this information is news or not, the but Broncos back-up QB, Brock Osweiler went on record to say that is his team needs to run a "hail mary" play, Peyton Manning will be benched because he does not have sufficient arm strength for a "hail mary" pass.

And just for Osweiler going on the record, Manning will make damn sure the kid doesn't see the field all season.

Redskins are still working shit out. The offense has suddenly gotten much better, but their D is still pretty bad and losing two starters on the D-line isn't going to help.

There's some speculation/leaks that Raheem Morris - former TB head coach brought in as the D-backs coach this season - was given the defensive playcalling duties in the 4th quarter on Sunday (which coincidentally was the best the Skins D played all game, allowing zero points and getting a turnover).

Might be curtains for Haslett which is fine with me.

Are they going anywhere? Who knows...9-7 took the division last season, and anything can happen in the NFC East, especially when you have a QB as dynamic as Griffin.

I'm partial to Seattle but their big test will be Monday against Green Bay. I still think Matt Flynn would be a better QB than Wilson 'this year'.

Lions might take the North, Packers don't look that good.

I feel bad for Levi. I keep wanting to jump on the Redskins bandwagon, but they fall apart everytime. It must suck worse then being a Lions fan.

It's not.

As bad as they've been, we've still got three Lombardi trophies, and I can actually remember winning all three of them (though I have to admit I bailed out at halftime of the 1982 Super Bowl to watch something else downstairs).

Lions fans, Eagles fans...they've got nothing but an NFL title or two back in the leather helmet days.

Save your tears for them.

Who's going to win the game tonight:
Giants at Carolina

Difficult to say, so I'll side with the home team.
As a Cowboy fan, I am rooting for Carolina to win by at least
1 point :)

Edgerrin James will be inducted into the Colts ring of honor on Sunday. One of the greatest Colts of all time, and, in my opinion, a hall of famer. Edge was instrumental to the success we had during the early part of the Peyton Manning era. For a few years, he was the best back in the league, until he had his knee injury. He ran the ball incredibly well, and sadly we have not had much of a running game since he left in 2006. He's personally one of my favorite Colts of all time, so it will be nice to see him get his due on Sunday.

Add Vince Young to the list of NFL players that
received tens of millions to play the game and are now not wealthy

Former NFL quarterback Vince Young is downplaying what he calls "unfortunate" financial problems caused by the "betrayal" of trusted advisers.

"Yes, I need a job, who doesn't. Yes, I want to be out there playing the game I love and earning a paycheck, who wouldn't?" Young wrote on his Twitter account Wednesday.

Young has been out of a job since he was cut by the Buffalo Bills in August. The tweet came after an Associated Press story detailed a series of legal entanglements over his finances and quoted his attorney as saying of the former Texas star's financial status: "I would just say that Vince needs a job."

Young, who received a contract that guaranteed him $26 million when the Tennessee Titans made him the third player taken in the 2006 draft, also wrote that he is working to rectify financial losses "which stemmed from betrayal by those I trusted most."

Young is suing his former agent, Major Adams, and a North Carolina financial planner, Ronnie Peoples, claiming they misappropriated at least $5.5 million of his money.

Young also alleges that the pair took out a loan for nearly $1.9 million in his name without his knowledge during the NFL lockout in 2011 and kept the proceeds for themselves.

The lender, Pro Player Funding LLC, has obtained a judgment against Young for the balance of the high-interest note, a sum of nearly $1.7 million.

Young was the first client of a company formed by Adams, a Houston criminal defense attorney, and the quarterback's uncle, Keith Young, a former middle school teacher.

Attorneys for Adams and Peoples claim their clients have done nothing wrong and that Young's spending habits have put him deeply in debt.

The Twitter message is the first public comment on the matter from Young, who has declined interview requests.

He ranks No. 11 in NFL history in rushing and No. 13 in yards from scrimmage. He’s one of only four players to rush for 1,500 yards at least four times. The others: Hall of Famers Barry Sanders, Walter Payton and Eric Dickerson.

That's all you need to know. He's 100% Hall of Fame worthy.

I disagree 100%. People forget that Edge was a DOMINANT runner. He won the rushing title his first two years in the league. He gave Peyton Manning a running game to rely on, which was immense. He was also potent in the receiving game. Faulk went on to finish his career well, obviously, but don't underestimate what Edge accomplished. Faulk wanted too much money anyway, so keeping him wasn't an option.

Edge led the league in rushing in 1999 and 2000. He was also on pace to do so in 2001, before tearing his ACL in week 6.

End of story. Like I said, stick to soccer.

In my opinion, Peyton Manning is the biggest fraud in NFL history when it comes to being deemed "great." People refer to him as "great" and I do not agree. I will agree that he is very good in the regular season and has put together a very good career. But to be considered one of the greatest to ever play the game, no. I've compiled some various statistics to demonstrate my views. I believe Tom Brady is the best quarterback in NFL history. Let's take a look at some of the things he has accomplished.

Tom Brady and John Elway are the only two quarterbacks to lead their teams to five Super Bowls; Brady has won three of them. He is the first player to be unanimously chosen MVP in the 2010 season. He led the Patriots to the NFL's only 16-0 regular season. He has thrown the most touchdown passes in one season (50). In the playoffs, he has 38 TD and 20 INT. He has had three playoff comebacks. Playoff record is 16-5. Career record 125-36.

Now that we've covered Brady's stats, let's move on to another great quarterback, Joe Montana. To start, Joe is 4-0 in Super Bowls and he never threw one interception during them. NOT ONE!
Tom Brady & Joe Montana are the only two players in NFL history to win the MVP and Super Bowl MVP awards multiple times. He has give playoff comebacks and his playoff record is 16-7. His career record is 117-47.

Not bad at all there, Joe. How about Brett Favre? He is one of four quarterbacks to lead the league in touchdown passes four times. He boasts a consecutive start streak of 311 games. He holds countless passing records including most passing yards, most touchdowns, most completions, most attempts, and most consecutive seasons with 35+ touchdown passes.
He also has the most go ahead touchdown passes when team is trailing in a post season game in a career with 11. His playoff record is 13-11 and has two playoff comebacks. He has a career record 186-112.

These quarterbacks are always up there in the greatest discussion, so I threw in another just for fun. With four Super Bowl wins himself, Terry Bradshaw is an interesting figure. Of course, he is 4-0 in Super Bowls and his playoff record is 14-5. He has four playoff comebacks and career record is 107-57.

And finally, we get to Stupid Manning. I'll start in a little bit of a reverse order. His career record is 142-68. Not bad at all for a regular season quarterback. When he gets to the playoffs, he crumbles. His playoff record is an abysmal 9-10.

How can we say he is one of the greats when he has a losing playoff record? I don't care if it is by one game! This man led teams to the playoffs so many times and that's his record? He has been one and done in the playoffs SEVEN TIMES!

That means, the very first playoff game they were involved in, they lost! Did not advance any further SEVEN TIMES! Talk about blown oppotunities. Remember throwing 4 interceptions in New England in 2003 in the playoffs? I do.

He boasts one playoff comeback over his long career. Oh wow. His playoff numbers show 29 touchdowns to 19 interceptions. Check Brady's and see why they're not in the same category again. Brady is and will forever be above Peyton Manning!

Manning has won many regular season games, sure. But if you don't cash in when it matters most, what was it all for? He is not one of the all time "greats". He is one of the all time "very good's." To many, this doesn't matter. But to me, it does.

I would personally place Manning somewhere in the 15-20 range of best quarterbacks ever. In front of him, the likes of Brady, Montana, Favre, Marino, Elway, Graham, Bradshaw, Fouts, Young, and others.

If you've read all of this, thank you. If you've read all of this, I hope it has made things a little clearer for you. I hope you, too, can help me enlighten others about the truth behind the Manning. Fraud18

I guess Marino sucked too then. To me the biggest disappoitment in NFL history is my own 86 Chicago Bears. They should have won more than one SB.

What's your boner against Manning? It can't just be Greg. Are you a Pats fan?
He's like the Liberace of bass & pot.

Manning is probably a decent guy. He is a very good football player. But he is not nearly as good as people claim he is. Year after year, I grew more tired of it and it evolved into a hatred. I am not a Patriots fan, either. I just believe he, Brady, is amazing and probably the greatest of all time.
