Frank Thomas' WS ring is more meaningful than James' SB ring.
He's like the Liberace of bass & pot.

Go down to the middle of the page and click the audio. Apparently people in Kansas City are fed up with their teams.

Look at you on your high horse, judging people and things you know nothing about. Irsay gave Edge a Super Bowl ring because he deserved one. It wasn't out of pity. It was because Irsay recognized what James did for the franchise and his important role in allowing the Colts to eventually win that Super Bowl. Edge was as deserving as anyone. Therefore, he can wear his RING proudly, something LT will never be able to do.demolition23 wrote:He got a pity ring.
Joseph Addai got a Superbowl ring.

Edge certainly deserves a spot in the HOF. His numbers speak for themselves. His place among the greats speaks for itself. Also, Edge was one the last true "every down" backs in the NFL. He did everything: run, catch, and block. His blocking abilities are not to be overlooked, as his role in keeping Peyton Manning clean was huge. The Colts rode him hard, he was truly an every down back in every sense of the word. There was no one else to help him shoulder the load, as is so often the case in today's NFL. If he doesn't get in on the first ballot, the HOF will once again prove to be a sham.

I guarantee that he will not be a first ballot Hall of Famer. No way, no how. IF he ever gets in, it will take several years. Remember, for all the hype Jerome Bettis got/gets, even he was not deemed a first ballot induction. He now waits...poizond13 wrote:Edge certainly deserves a spot in the HOF. So how come when he left, no other RB was that good with Peyton's "success"? Keep talking about turds, and leave the football talk to people who actually watch the shit.Heenan Snuka wrote:he is not hall of famer, he was a product of Peyton's success

From a Colts blog:
James is exactly the kind of player who gets in via the veterans committee. His numbers look good next to Martin and Bettis. If both of them make Canton, then someday, perhaps in 20 or 30 years, Edge will too.

James was GREAT while with Indy, but they weren't wrong to not pay him. He attained over a thousand yards his first two seasons in AZ but his yards per carry dropped almost a full yard from his Indy numbers.NeverSurrender wrote:So how come when he left, no other RB was that good with Peyton's "success"? The bottom line is Greg saying James was as good as Faulk is fucking ridiculous. Faulk had nearly 3000 more total yards and 40 more TDs than James.

Kendall Wright today against Detroit or take a chance that Jennings actually plays tomorrow?

Those are your options! Better pray someone else on your team has a breakout day. Take Wright, even if Jennings plays Seattle's D is one of the better in the League.johnk5150 wrote:Kendall Wright today against Detroit or take a chance that Jennings actually plays tomorrow?

Faulk was amazing, but turdboy acting like he's only good because of Manning, when everybody else who played with Manning has done virtually nothing, is one dumb ass statement. Makes Greggle's ridiculous statements look genius.johnk5150 wrote:James was GREAT while with Indy, but they weren't wrong to not pay him. Re: NFL 2012 Thread
Jim Harbaugh has thrown thrown 2 red flags after using his last time out. The first review he won and they gave him his 3rd timeout back. Then he challenged again on the Vikes next possession with that 3rd TO he had already used right before the first challenge. Biggest ref fuckup yet.

Mark Pieerra or whatever his name is said you can't grant a TO back in continuation of the play like these chumps did.

Awesome game by the vikes and ponder, congrats. watched that game along with the skins at the bar.
Tough day for Rg3 who was getting smacked around all day. He played well considering the awful line play and getting hit about a dozen times. Kept us in a game that should have been a blowout loss. But for the first game genuinely worried about his health.
Skins secondary is simply awful.

I have no idea what the fuck I'm watching anymore. It's a clusterfuck of bad calls and rules that players, coaches, REFFFFFS!!!!!!! Announcers and myself don't know.
Ot rules, advancing onsides, clock rundowns.........The Cincy/Skins game was a total mess with some football inbetween.

Still wound up with 28 from Griffin in fantasy. Peyton and his receivers aren't meshing at all.

"Cecil Shorts did not score. From the angle I had, his knee was down and the ball did not cross the plain. BS CALL! Luck had his team in position to win, despite the referee. Although I never talk about the referee's, it was their fault that cost us big time. We will be back. The road to the Super Bowl...starts....here? Peyton looked good, too."
