They finish up with three against Houston, so that will probably be a big series for them. They're at Colorado and Phoenix before that. They're especially awful on the road (22-53), so they might win 1 or 2 of the 6 road games. That would mean they'd need either 2 of 3 or a sweep of the Astros to avoid 100 losses.

I do. It sucks that he lost the record only because a run scored on the play. Otherwise it wouldn't have been ruled an error. He plays 100% on every play, though - even though he could've had the record if he'd held up on an awfully difficult throw.

That's something a lot of players wouldn't do. They'd be all about not ruining their personal glory.
