I figure most people are like that, but I guess these days where everyone is doing fantasy that may have changed.

Either way, I know my fucking football history. I know who has won super bowls and who hasn't. I know who has contended in the past and who hasn't.

It's about a respect and love for the game and its history.

After all - how can we know where we are if we don't know where we've been?

Deacon Jones was a badass.
I agree. Most fans are a lot more focused on their own team's division with a good general knowledge of the rest of the league and it's history. I know a few guys that can name just about every player on every team, but they're far from the norm. I know one guy that has about 6 TVs in his den all tuned to different games and he refuses to leave the house or even answer the phone on Sundays, but dudes like that are just full blown football nerds.

Because everyone loves to laugh at you Greg. We've often laughed at people who take their trolling to the levels you have.

Everything from your inflated Poison concert attendance figures, to insistence that the same band's has "co-headlining" status, to wearing a fake Poison concert poster in your sig, to praising drunk driving murderers for continuing to drive drunk, to your Colts loyalty (which there is nothing wrong with liking a football team) you just take it to hilarious levels and troll with it like a pro.. Your years on here have taught you well...

Still though, nothing has made me laugh more here in recent years was your Colts Super Bowl predictions and the the roads BACK to it failing.. and you just keep trying.

You troll Greg... You know it and you do so proudly because certain people don't know when to stop and realize you are trolling.

I never want you banned Greg... This place would have a lot less to laugh at if you were gone. I'm sure the Locker Room will have plenty more to point and laugh at by seasons end.
The trolls are the ones who hang on my EVERY WORD and reply to just about every one of my posts. I don't ask for them to follow me around. I don't ask for them to become obsessed. It just happens. You'll notice I don't do that to anyone around here, because I'm not a troll. Even though I ignore these trolls 95% of the time, they still persist with their obsession. That's the definition of trolling.

O.k., back to our regularly scheduled lies.
Most of us knew the Bucs had a pretty good team in the late 70s, but according to this jackass, they were never any good before Dungy showed up.

But he knows so much.
Colts- Two Super Bowl victories

Vikings- Zero Super Bowl victories

ZERO!

Despite trolls attempts to de-rail the thread, let's get back to the original topic:

Andrew Luck ranks #1 (NUMBER ONE) in NFL Total QB Rating:

NUMBER ONE!!

I remember Doug Williams going top the USFL after their hot streak. many people don't know that's a main reason Bo Jackson never signed with the Bucs. He said he would never play for Hugh Culverhouse or George Steinbrenner.
Any non-troll would agree my football knowledge far supersedes most of the posters here.
When Tony Dungy became head coach of the Bucs, most people said he'd never turn the team around. The Bucs had never been any good and were one of the worst teams in the league. But he did it, and within a short amount of time the Bucs became perennial contenders.

Like the definition of JAM PACKED concerts, you don't know the definition of trolling either...

One doesn't have to "follow" someone around and to troll a forum, not sure where you get the idea that it is.. What you describe is stalking or obsession... Quantavius is a good example of a that definition.

Trolling is saying outrageous and redundant shit with no truth in it.. You know it Greg.

trolling; "The art of deliberately, cleverly, and secretly pissing people off, usually via the internet, using dialogue."

A troll is someone who posts inflammatory, outrageous, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

The most essential part of trolling is convincing your victim that either truly believe in what you are saying, no matter how outrageous."

For instance, JAM PACKED Poison concerts that are not, 45 minute co-headlining sets by Poison (even when the drummer says they're opening), praising convicted drunk drivers for continuing to do so, sporting fake concert posters in your sig, blaming rape victims for the crime, ignoring that this thread is exactly trolling for a reaction since Luck and his team are 1-2 and claiming he is the "Best rookie qb, bar none." when he's not even close to the 10 top rookie quarterbacks (including Peyton Manning) that I posted..

You're trolling Greg.. You don't troll all the time, but you troll and enjoy it.. Embrace your talent son..

Your definition of trolling doesn't fit me. My posts do cause an inflammatory reaction, true. But I'm not in control of those reactions. My INTENT is not to get those reactions. But it's not within my scope of control. The fact that people react an in inflammatory and obsessive way to my posts is not my problem, nor my intent. Personally, I would rather enjoy regular conversations without people losing their minds at every comment I make. But if that doesn't happen, so be it. I can live with it either way because I really don't give a shit.

Speaking of disrupting threads and going off topic, that's exactly what you and the other trolls are doing right now. I've tried numerous times to get this thread back on topic, to no avail. The trolls just won't have it.

Does the troll really think that calling the rest of us "trolls" is effective? Kudos to RG3 for being the best rookie QB in years, and I guess while we're at it, congrats to Luck for "offensive rookie of the week". Not quite living up to the pre draft hype, but Im sure he'll be a fine NFL QB for years to come. Meanwhile, congrats to JJ Watt for being named defensive player of the month. He's on a tear.

Explain why you chose to use a concert poster depicting the ROA 2012 as Poison's tour with "special guests Def Leppard and Lita Ford" (you know the one you just removed this week) instead of the actual poster?

Image

You also posted a review of the recent ROA tour that you went to and claimed "thousands" of people left after Poison's set even taking the time to post a photo you ACTUALLY took of people heading to the concessions and bathrooms after Bert Inc's set, when several others said nobody left and that DL had a great crowd, even video was posted showing it, son..

I agree with all of this.

The fact that RG3 is having one of the best rookie seasons in NFL history does nothing to dull the fact that Luck is off to a solid start and may one day prove worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as the Redskins phenom.

A month in, it is factual. RGIII is easily the best rookie QB out there and can shatter some rookie records along the way.

Per Peter King on Twitter....."Falcons may want to rush four v Redskins, RGIII. When blitzed he has QB rating of 152.4. It's 80.2 when not ... Great, great stat."

I know, QB rating doesn't matter. Unless it does. Depends on who we're talking to and when.

The Seahawks have allowed one QB rushing touchdown in four YEARS. Little stat you may want to know before betting the farm on Cam Newton today.

Last time I saw RG3's jive ass he was running to the locker room after getting smashed by the Falcon's Weatherspoon. And the Falcons, with a not all that great D, held him to 91 yards.

Do any of you people who trash P13 realize he is owning all of you so far this season?
