Yeah, if he keeps running untouched 75 yards to the endzone, he probably won't last too long in this league.
It was the longest run by a QB since Kordell Stewart in 1996. Only fitting those two would be mentioned in the same breath.

I'll continue to believe, as I always have, that running QBs are highly unlikely to achieve success in the NFL over the long term. The evidence is overwhelmingly in my favor.

The reigning NFL rookie of the month is being praised by ESPN's Dan Graziano for "developing faster than Andrew Luck."

He cites such things as "getting rid of the ball quicker" and "less responsibility for sacks" than Andrew Leaf...err, I mean Luck.

Finally, he concludes that RG3 is reading defenses better, which is of course is obvious to anybody who has watched both play.

Also...he can run:

If it's gettin' on your nerves, there's some stupid thread in the Lounge about the merits of being a rat that could use some attention.

This is where would normally tell you to kill yourself, but that is a bannable offense, so I just hope you have to eat shitty BBQ forever. For way too much, while I eat Kinfolks for 8 bucks.

That's odd, considering that you were one of the dipshits trying to convince me that BBQ would be edible.

It was garbage, like all NYC BBQ, which was precisely my point. Me being right was as delicious as the ribs were bland and rubbery.

OK, so if you don't want to discuss how awesome RG3 is (let's face it, we got another 15 years or so for that), what DO you want to talk about.

It's your thread baby, at least until RG3 wins his next official accolade.

You sure have a bad memory. Maybe it's from eating shitty, overpriced BBQ and having to deal with that

RG3 kicked my ass. But i never said that shit would be good. Or bad. I just took pity on you and your steamed bbq.

Sadly I must admit you are right. You did say "the place sure gets good reviews" before I pointed out it was for the maple butter and hush puppies just like ALL shitty BBQ places.

Look man, we have our differences. But we shouldn't let it devolve into accusing each other into not knowing what good BBQ is.

Crazy Levy on Peyton Manning's injury, September 2011:
I think it's hilarious. I haven't taken this much sick enjoyment of someone else's misfortune since Bret got hit by that Broadway scenery.
Uhh, Levy? How long are you going to ignore this????

WHO?

Levy, sounds to me like you're getting caught up in the roller coaster ride that is the NFL season. Last week, everyone was proclaiming Luck a prodigy, and RG3 a failure. This week it's the other way around. If you knew anything about football, you'd know that both assessments are false. A rookie QB is going to have good and bad days, there's no two ways about it. You're never as good people say you are after a big win, and you're never as bad as people say you are after a bad loss. That's why I never get too high or low during the season. You, on the other hand, sound like a bipolar idiot.

Yeah, I'm not sure about that one either.

I just thought since Gregg puts so much stock in experts like Peter King and Merill Hodge, he'd respect Mr. Graziano's opinion.

I guess I was wrong. I won't post any more of his stuff. Just trying to help.

Peter King is well respected and knowledgeable, any objective person could agree with that. He's earned his stripes. Not that I agree with everything he says. In fact, I disagree with a lot of it. Hoge, whatever, I'm pretty neutral on him. Graziano, never fuckin heard of him.

Fair enough. My hack is not as distinguished. Please post a list of acceptable hacks who I can quote in the future.

But when did anybody call RG3 a failure?

I haven't even heard anybody call Andrew Leaf a failure for that matter, and he's turning the ball over left and right this season.

These guys are young! Nobody would declare either of them a success or failure at this point. You even said, you are withholding judgement till January, right?

Another Offensive Rookie of the Week award for RG3 (third time in six weeks - half the season).

Yes, I'm getting tired of it too. But he's just so goddamn good!

I think it's a fucking given at this point.

Even P13 would have to agree, even if he doesn't agree with the sentiment.

If he can stay healthy at least.
