I'm disappointed. So Punk's stupid reign is more important than this new potential mega draw?

And tonight they're going to spin it like Ryback's streak is still intact? By all rights that can't work and this should kill his momentum.

Great wrestling match though

How could you put the main belt, the main draw, on a guy that can't even cut his own promo? Cena's elbow surgery caused this whole booking nightmare. I predict a 3-way dance with those guys at Survivor Series.

Exactly. Ryberg is WAY too green to be the champ. They are obviously saving Punk for Rock at Royal Rumble, Rock will win, and Rock vs Cena II will be for the belt at Mania. Isn't it obvious? I was hoping Brock Lesnar would show up last night to take out Ryberg, but no such luck...

I really REALLY hope this isn't leading up to Rock/Cena II at WrestleMania next year...even though that's been the rumor for the past few months.

I'd like for someone else to get the rub by beating Punk - someone like Dolph Ziggler creating a huge face turn for him. I could see it happening; if Cena can be the first to lose, Dolph could be the first to have his contract transfer over to Raw. THAT would be a huge move, and I see more "star longevity" in Dolph than Ryback.

Ryback needs to win the Rumble and take on the Smackdown champion instead.

Sinderella - the RKO/ADR match was great only for the RKO at the end. :)

I totally agree Captain! That was a sweet RKO but damn, that match sucked some major D's.

I will be going to Survivor Series here in Indy, I pray it has decent booking

That will be fun! Team Punk vs. Team Foley will be awesome.

I'd like to see Punk beat The Rock at the Royal Rumble with Brock interfering, starting a Rock/Brock feud for WrestleMania. After the match, Ziggler could cash in on Punk and hold the belt through WrestleMania, where (as a tweener) he could go over John Cena. Wishful thinking, I know, but it would be a huge win for Ziggler.

He's getting a push right now but I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of the year they make him a jobber like Tensai / Albert. Probably losing to someone like Justin Gabriel in two minutes.

Never happen he's even been given a blessing from Hulk Hogan v 2.0 on TV.

Theirs two types of big guys 1 is just a naturally big person (Tensai/Fat Albert) and the 2nd is a huge muscular freak type person and thats what Ryback is which is just the type Vince has always had a hard-on for.

If he can learn to speak good on the mic the only thing holding him back would be his health.

Guess the Jake "The Snake" Roberts deal is in jeopardy with DDP:

We noted before that WWE Legend Jake "The Snake" Roberts was moving in with Diamond Dallas Page on Monday. The plan is for DDP to use his yoga program to help get Roberts back in shape for one more run in the ring.
Roberts was booked for an independent show in La Marque, Texas on Saturday night for the Coastal Wrestling Federation where he was set to face a wrestler named Johnny Blade. According to fans in attendance, Roberts had been drinking and got upset when he felt his opponent was getting too much attention, more than Roberts himself.

Roberts reportedly confronted Blade during a mid-show promo in the ring. The story goes that Roberts ordered a confused referee to the ring, hit Blade in the head and then fell on top of him for a quick, sloppy pin. Roberts then reportedly walked straight from the ring to his car and left.

There were about 300 fans in attendance and the promoter issued an apology for Roberts' action.

I totally agree. Just saying what I think is happening.

I don't think we're getting rid of Ryberg any time soon.

And WTF with his promo last night? It was like Warrior 2.0.

Also, nice to see they're getting some use out of the old Renegade/Ryno ringwear...

Brad Armstrong dead at the age of 51

"WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of Brad Armstrong, 51, one of four sons of “Bullet” Bob Armstrong. Brad Armstrong last participated in the ring for the ECW brand in 2006. WWE understands that Brad saw his physician last week for a medical issue and was found unresponsive this morning. WWE extends its sincerest condolences to the entire Armstrong family."

Is the TNA ring the same size as WWE's?
I believe the WCW ring was not & it took a little while for wrestlers to get used to it (number of steps from one side to another).

No, I don't believe so. I believe the WWE ring is 20' x 20' while TNA is 18' x 18' (like WCW).

So, Festus/Luke Gallows is out of the mask now. Is that the way this gimmick is going to work now? We're going to get one new A&8 face each week?

they worked the " I'm jealous, I want what Jeff Hardy has" routine with him, leading up to BFG. It was funny to see the ppv match where Aries was the supposed heel, and the crowd was chanting his name.

Anyone else catch the dig at WWE they threw out?
AJ Styles popped off with "apparently the new fad is for AJs to get filmed getting in elevators". It was a lol moment.
