S.W.A.T. - 3.14/6.75

Not bad. First time I had seen it. Jeremy Renner (Avengers, MI4) and Colin Farrell along with some unknown named Samuel Jackson. Nice action moments. Michelle Rodriguez was grossly under-utilized.

The Apartment (1959). 4/10. Jack Lemmon, Shirley MacLaine and Fred MacMurray. Billy Wilder won three Oscars for this movie - Directing, Producing and Writing. I like lots of other old movies, but this was boring as fuck to me, and Jack Lemmon was so spastic and manic it was annoying.

They took a Hatchet-style series and tried to make it more Hostel-like. I was not pleased.

The Dictator
0 out of 10

Worst movie I have seen this year.
Not a laugh out loud moment in the first 45 minutes of the movie
I pressed eject and did not bother to watch the rest of the film

Secret Ceremony - 5/10. Elizabeth Taylor, Robert Mitchum.

Confusing plot and Mia Farrow's terrible.

Before the Devil Knows You're Dead 8.5/10 straight up kicked ass, except for the actor who played the father. horrible acting from him. of course, Philip Seymour Hoffman is always excellent.

Fat Kid Rules the World - 9/10. This was a surprise. I fell asleep on it the first time through, but had caught enough to know there was something to do with punk rock. So I watched it again, and I'm very glad I did.

Lay the Favorite - 6/10. Bonus point for Bruce Willis wearing a New York Dolls shirt. Kinda interesting gambling story, but very low budget C movie.

Skyfall (10/10) - Couldn't be happier. Perfect blend of all the essential Bond ingredients, with no corn, hold the cheese, a nod to the past here, and the return of the wry quip - served Craig style, ultra-dry. And to see the Bond movies done extremely well with lavish budgets and gorgeous cinematography is ...well, something worth waiting 50 years for. Happy Birthday, James.

Yep, I still call it low budget. You will understand when you see the film, and the end credits really drive it home. Feels like a Lifetime movie.

Adventures Of Power
Funny movie about a dorky dude that air drums and wins a contest at the end.
Got cool tunes in it, and plays air drums to Rush.

Wrong turn, Hostile, Cruel Intentions, Final Destination, Jeepers Creepers. proud to say I've only seen the first one of these serial movies. Must be straight-to-Netflix releases.

30 For 30: Catching Hell - 7/10
It was an hour and 45 minutes and I thought that would be way too long, but it wasn't.
It wasn't just about Bartman but, although interesting, there really wasn't anything that wasn't already known.
