This reminds me of the house show I went to right before Wrestlemania when Cena and Punk held a post match tribute for Arn Anderson since he was being inducted with the Four Horsemen into the WWE Hall Of Fame.

That's awesome. Those house shows seem like a lot more fun than the ones I went to about 6-7 years ago...
They've definitely changed. They seem more candid now rather than boring. Good thing too because they're charging more money to see them too. I think I paid $55 for a HOUSE SHOW TICKET but it was a lower level seat with CM Punk vs Chris Jericho for the WWE Title as the main event as well as Cena vs Kane and the debut of Ryback. All in all it was a solid card and everyone had a great time. 1st class production, I was very impressed.

As noted earlier, WWE published an article on their official website announcing that CM Punk had underwent "emergency knee surgery" on Tuesday.
According to PWInsider, the said knee injury is legit and is not storyline. CM Punk has been working on a bad knee for quite some time now and was trying to tough it out since he has taken the responsibility of carrying WWE as their champion to heart.
At this time, there is no indication on what will happen with CM Punk and the WWE title match for the TLC pay-per-view.
*****************
Dave Meltzer of f4wonline.com is now reporting that the surgery was supposed to be minor, but now it's looking like the damage was worse than originally expected and Punk won't be wrestling in the main event of the upcoming WWE TLC pay-per-view as advertised.
*******************
WWE's website has provided an update to CM Punk's surgery.
The new report says that the surgery to CM Punk was arthroscopic in nature, and Dr. James Andrews trimmed a cartilage tear that had caused his knee to lock up.
Given the nature of the surgery, he is only expected out of action a few weeks.
Question is, do they vacate the title if Punk has to miss TLC? There's no way the WWE title won't be defended on a pay-per-view, especially after the abysmal ratings lately. They want people to buy this thing.
Scenario One: Punk wrestles the match (albeit with a limited move set) and Ryback gets laid out by The Shield (or Ryback focuses mainly on The Shield) while Punk grabs the title. Punk heals in time for the Rumble.
Scenario Two: Next Monday, the belt is vacated because Punk "refuses" to defend the belt on a bad knee. Cena vs. Dolph is now a threeway for the WWE title with Ryback in the mix. This sets up Cena to win, drop the belt to Rock at the Rumble, and Punk to challenge for the title he was never beaten for at WrestleMania. Ziggler still walks out with the briefcase to be cashed in at the Rumble. Alternatively, Ziggler wins the WWE title while holding onto the briefcase, cashes in on the WHC at WrestleMania and unifies the belts. (A LONG stretch, but would be fun to see...).
Scenario Three: Brock Lesnar makes his return on Monday and takes out Punk, establishing himself as a contender for the now vacant title. A tournament is held, with Lesnar vs. Ryback in the main event of TLC for the title. Brock wins, with help from The Shield and sets up Rock/Brock at the Rumble.
Due to the earlier reported injury, WWE announced at tonight’s SmackDown tapings from North Charleston, South Carolina that WWE Champion CM Punk will no longer defend against Ryback at the TLC pay-per-view.
Instead, Ryback will team with Kane and Daniel Bryan to face Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns in a six-man match. No word yet what the stipulation will be.

I was gonna post Vince's "Official" statement, but it basically just says this. Although Vinny Mac did add a stip. It is "Tables, Ladders, and Chairs, and for the first time ever...must be decided by pinfall or submission".
This match will be gimmicked to hell, but it should be killer. And, it will be a good PPV debut for The Shield.
And is it just me, or is Dean Ambrose the second coming of Brian Pillman?

Unless Heyman turns on Punk that won't work because he represents both guys. My guess is that they'll take a wait and see approach to dealing with Punk's knee and whether he can keep the title.
If he does have to vacate, it would make for a great storyline. Punk gets disrespected again, never lost the belt, etc. In fact since today is day 380 they could strip him today and leave him tied with John Cena for the longest title reign in the modern era. That would absolutely incite Punk and elevate the whole disrespect thing to a new level.
Also I'd love to see a tournament for the title like Wrestlemania 4, with a dark horse winning the belt. Not Ziggler though. That seems obvious. I'd love to see Kofi, R-Truth or Wade Barrett win it, if only to be a transitional champ.

I just found out yesterday that Eve Torres asked for and was granted her release on Monday. Not sure of exactly when she will actually leave the company, but she will have to drop the Diva belt before she goes.

The rumor is that CM Punk wants it to be Stone Cold Steve Austin. If you've noticed, he's mentioned Austin a number of times in his promos over the last couple of months. They've also had exchanges on Twitter that make it seem like they're setting something up between the two.
I don't doubt that Taker wants to wrestle at Wrestlemania though. He still has the streak and he'll get paid more in that one day than 99% of the wrestlers out there make in a year.

I'm ready to see the Undertaker's streak ended by someone like Punk. Undertaker is going to retire soon and it would be a wise business move to have him lose to someone to help that someone be elevated even greater.
If Punk beat him, that would sky rocket him even further I think. Will it happen? Probably not because Vince is obsessed with the streak. But what value will the streak have when 'Taker's done? None whatsoever
Punk is the only logical choice right now for people to beat Taker. I'm not sold on Ryback's future quite yet to put him in that role. Cena doesn't need the extra rub so who would that leave that could make for a good main event with Taker? I don't think there's another option

At least we still have Vickie Guerrero to look at!!!!
In huge news, Velvet Sky is back on Impact. It's not like they could have just finally used somebody awesome like Sarah Stock instead, but oh well . . . at least it shows there might be some faith in bitch wrestling left at the top.

And I just threw up in my mouth.
I just wonder what could cause such a quick turnaround. Didn't she just wrap up a tribute to the troops kind of thing? Seems minds sudden if she's just wanting out.
If I had to wager, I'd bet she's knocked up.

Hopefully this will be her new ring gear

Good thinking with the sword! Garbage wrestling didn't get much airtime lately either, with Abyss becoming his own brother and stuff. Throw her in another ladder match with a returning Nikki Roxx.
