Actually, I have not heard one person, other than Levy, say that Garcon even comes close to being the best free agent pick up. On the other hand, plenty of people have said Luck should be MVP, including someone who actually has a VOTE in the matter.
Where are these "Plenty of people"? One guy wrote an article saying he'd vote for him for MVP. Other than you, that's the only place I've heard it.

SF 49ers have suspended Brandon Jacobs for
the remainder of the season.

Suspending him is a brilliant and devious move.
Jacobs will not be able to play for another team under
this suspension.

from NY Daily News:
Jacobs on Saturday said via Instagram that he is “on this team rotting away” while referring to his first season with the Niners as his “worst” yet during an eight-year career that included seven with the New York Giants.
In recent days, he posted a series of photos of himself playing for the Giants — and even a picture of his two Super Bowl championship rings, side by side.
“I am on this team rotting away so why would I wanna put any pics up of anything that say niners,” Jacobs said. “This is by far the worst year I ever had, I’ll tell you like I told plenty others.”
Last month, Jacobs posted advice on Twitter with a reference to never working “in a place where you hate your boss so much, you should always be happy at work” with a hash tag of “YouLiveAndYouLearn.”

Jacobs will always get a pass from me for putting that fat buffoon Rex Ryan in his place last year.

Dez Bryant might need surgery on his finger.
Cowboys are expected to make an announcement today.

If surgery is required, Bryant will miss the remainder of the season.

Luck leads the league.....

Lots of people who have votes for MVP are saying there is no way you can vote for a guy who leads the lead in INTs. And they are right.

Exactly, one reprter and a slew of people from Colts fanboards Who all probably thought Luck looked like the 2nd coming of Montana on Sunday. In reality He played like Rex Grossman.

I almost forgot how much I hate the coverage on MNF. They frequently miss the start of plays, sometimes missing them entirely. They center the camera in the defensive backfield so you can't see the QB if he's in shotgun, and they don't pull back enough to let you see the play unfold. And the combo in the booth is nothing special. Tirico gets the players names wrong, and for every time Gruden gives decent insight he then ends up either stating the obvious or playing cheerleader. The Sunday Night Football crew and coverage is far superior.

Brady is making a claim for MVP: destroying the mighty Texans, and has only thrown 4 picks all year, despite a billion throws

RotY? Sure. Particularly if RG3 misses time.
MVP? No way. Brady, Manning, Peterson are all far better candidates. Tell me the media haven't been hyping him as MVP?!

For the record, I never stated Luck should be MVP. I simply said he's a candidate, which is extremely rare for a rookie. For him to even be mentioned is incredible. My vote for MVP would solidly go to Peyton Manning, no doubt. I think he will and should win it. What he's done this year is simply amazing. What AD has done is also amazing, but Peyton has his team in championship contention.

Wtf were the texans thinking defensively last night?

Brady had to be licking his chops when he saw them mostly in man to man.

That's what they do most of the time. Covering Hernandez with a pass rushing linebacker wasn't the best idea in the world though.

yeah, but you know the Houston defense actually did not play as poorly as the score would indicate. They were successful for much of the second and third quarter in shutting down the Patriots, and did a good job pressuring Brady and shutting down the Patriots short passing game in the middle of the field. Where they got KILLED was on the big play bombs, which Brady and Co. largely had no done at all this year -- credit Bellichick and Co. in adjusting their game plan very effectively against the Texans and taking some big shots down the field - that surprised the Texans. Also, the Texans had some really poor penalties that extended drives that were shut down on 3rd down.

As I looked at the game, the loss is much more reflective of the Houston offense, which did NOTHING against a Patriots defense that is suddenly starting to look okay. The Houston offense did nothing to change field position or give their defense a break, which looked very gassed by the beginning of the 4th quarter. Although it was an overall butt-kicking, you can't give Brady and co. that many possessions after your offense goes three-and-out, without something very bad eventually happening.
