You should be fucking concerned. Dallas sucks and the Saints - while highly flawed - have the firepower to ruin your playoff hopes.

I'm not too worried about the Eagles, frankly, so I see no reason to stow the shit talk till next week.

I've been playing the "remember when" game for years. I mean, it is a comfort, but an empty one as we all know.

For example, the Redskins have won three Super Bowls, while the Indianapolis Colts - despite having one of the greatest QBs of all time - only won ONE.

But at some point you get tired of celebrating accomplishments of days gone by. That's why it's great to be a Texans fan, in the middle of a run of Division titles - or in fact, a Redskins fan, in the driver's seat for a division title and a home playoff game, with rookie of the year candidates at QB and RB and a bright future ahead.

But hey...Colts fans will always have Manning, and a really big rear view mirror.
Did you read that mess of melt that emanated from P13's keyboard last night? If Luck can't pull off a miracle and pass your guy for ROTY, we might need to put him on suicide watch. That dude is losing it.

i'll take the high road for now. no use talking shit on a Monday for a game that is not being played until 13 days from now.

i read online the Skins vs Dallas game might be changed to Sunday night on NBC, per the flex schedule.
fine with me. prime time!!!

Saints offense is very, very good, but they are slightly worse when playing on the road.
At the same time, that offense scares me a lot more than the Steelers O did yesterday.
Dallas has to get a pass rush going early vs Saints and disrupt Brees as much as possible. That will help the secondary in coverage and perhaps keeps the points to a minimum.

Go ahead and takes the Eagles lightly. I dare you!

You are taking the high road because you don't really think the Cowboys can pull it off. I doubt they beat the Saints, but it ain't gonna matter because they have no fucking chance against the Redskins, who already MAULED you in Arlington. What do you think is gonna happen at home, in the biggest game ever played in the history of Fed Ex?

i don't know what is going to happen, but since you seem to have the power to predict the future, why don't you go out on a limb and tell us all what
is going to happen

i have faith in the Cowboys and believe they can defeat the Skins, on the road, against RGIII.
first of all Dallas has to defeat the Saints on Sunday.

you can look ahead to next week all you want. i am going to concentrate on the game this Sunday.

B.S. move.
If Seattle makes the playoffs, I hope a team runs up the score against his team and you can be sure that Carroll will whine about that situation to anybody media member with a microphone.

Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said he regrets allowing his team to attempt a fake punt while they had a 30-point lead in the fourth quarter of Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills.

Carroll claimed that he did not call for the fake punt, stating that the play was part of the Seahawks' original game plan.

"I feel bad about this," Carroll said after the Seahawks' 50-17 thrashing of the Bills in Toronto. "It was part of our game plan. It was something I could have called off and didn't."
It's pro sports. He has nothing for which he should apologize. By the way, that little blown call in the Seattle/GB game officially matters now.
I know I never saw that happening. But Green Bay still won the NFC North, Seattle would still be ahead of the Bears in the wild card by virtue of the tie breaking rules. And if the Niners hadn't got a fucking TIE game for the first time in recent history it wouldn't be an issue now.

The AFC playoff picture sets up well for Houston to at least make the conference championship. Denver probably plays the Pats in the second round. Houston gets either Baltimore or Colts. I like the Texans chances in that scenario. Houston hasn't seen a conference champ game since Earl Campbell was toting the rock, and I don't think they've ever had one at home. Reliant Stadium just might explode if they can get there. Getting past that game is probably more than they can do, but Id like to find out.

Schaub is not much better than Rosenfels. The Colts are a team with a rich history, and an incredibly promising future. You know it, I know it. The Texans are going nowhere.

We will see how they play against an offense like teh Texans, but the defense is pretty good too. And AD didn't do this without some holes to run through.

Last week I heard that Eric Dickerson has gone on record to say that he
hopes AP does not break his rushing record.

Good for ED. About time an athlete was honest about his own personal record.
Most of the time you hear an athlete say he could care less, but this time ED brought some honesty to the plate.

Do you really think your pining for your past glories has any effect on me or any other Texans fan? You had Peyton Manning in his prime while Houston was trying to get a brand new franchise off the ground. You still only managed one ring. I call that pathetic. In the now, my team just clinched the division by kicking your team's ass while the QB you cut is kicking ass in Colorado. Enjoy your fail cake troll.

All I hear are excuses and downright lies. And who's living on old glories? The Colts are 9-5 son, 5th best record in the AFC. We have a good young team and a franchise QB. I'm just reminding you of the past to remind you of the Texans pathetic history, and to remind you of what's coming for them in the next few years.

Did you just say Houston is an inferior city? To Indy? The "flyover state"?

Unreal. Lemme tell you what Indianapolis is superior to. It's places like Kentucky or Mississippi I wouldn't even say it's better than them, it's exactly the same. States that the rest of the USA feel sorry for and are embarrassed by.

Oh and it's not "we". You don't play for the Colts, you didn't help Peyton win his one championship. You watch the games. That's it and since your hillbilly with an internet connection we have to hear about it.

Interesting how everything is relative with the Colts.

The Redskins ALSO have the 5th best record in their conference, at 8-6, and are in first place in their division.

But they've done it without a cupcake schedule, and playing in a tough division with THREE winning teams vs. the Colts, who are in second place in a terrible division with teams with only 4 and 2 wins.

I understand why Colts fans are excited - they are struggling to make the playoffs as a wild card in a terrible division, and look like they might even pull it off despite a QB who leads the league in INTs and is plummeting down the charts of ESPN's Total QBR (an important stat).

But still, you'd think some perspective is in order. Backing into the playoffs with a cupcake schedule and a in a terrible division is really nothing to be proud of.

They don't have to.

That's for fans of teams trying to back into the playoffs as a wild card.
