This season has been just miraculous with all the things that have gone on. The HORSESHOE once again stands strong as the best organization in the National Football League. We WIN and we WIN the RIGHT WAY!! With our leader back on the sideline, this team showed today what we're really capable of. We stood CHUCKSTRONG and thouroughly WHOOPED an inferior opponent.
Hey bane, how does it feel? HOW DOES IT FEEL knowing the Texans have NEVER and WILL NEVER win a game in Indianapolis? This is our turf boy, and the Texans are our bitch. 0-11 vs the COLTS in Indy. 0-11!!! You cannot win here, boy! You will never surpass the horseshoe!!
Yeah, this should be enough to stoke the fire.

AFC seeds
1. Denver
2. New England
3. Houston
4. Baltimore
5. Indianapolis
6. Cincinnati
Wild Card matchups:
Cincinnati @ Houston
Indianapolis @ Baltimore
NFC seeds
1. Atlanta
2. San Francisco
3. Green Bay
4. Washington or Dallas
5. Seattle
6. Minnesota
Wild Card matchups:
Minnesota @ Green Bay
Seattle @ Washington/Dallas
Predictions:
Cincinnati @ Houston = Bengals. Houston is toast
Indianapolis @ Baltimore = Ravens. Dome teams don't fair well in cold weather. Indy is loaded with rookies.
Minnesota @ Green Bay = Packers. Can't see Vikings winning 2 weeks in a row, not with Ponder at QB.
Seattle @ Washington/Dallas = Redskins or Seahawks. Seattle 8-0 at home, 3-5 on the road. Won't beat Skins in DC on EST. But should be able to beat Romo.

Romo with a blistering 49.8 QBR.
I take back what I said about Romo. He's not a pro bowl QB. I got fooled by his stats. Every time I watch him play, I think "this guy sucks." Then I get fooled by his numbers time and time again. He'll never be more than an average QB at best.
RGTebow is even worse than I thought:
9/18 100 yards, 0 TD

I watched a lot of football today. Some observations:
Even though this is the era of the QB, taking care of the ball is still more important than putting up gaudy numbers. Brees and Stafford threw for 5000+ yards again, but they'll be watching next week. Look at the QBs with TD-to-INT ratios of 3-1 or better: Rodgers, Griffin, Manning, & Brady. All division winners. Not a coincidence.
Stafford is Bledsoe II. Hell of an arm and can make great throws, but makes too many stupid decisions.
Reviewing all scores and turnovers doesn't slow the game down too much. Getting the calls right is worth it. All sports should do the same.
Griffin is rookie of the year. Peterson should be MVP.

ROOKIE OF THE YEAR!!
Actually Greg, Griffin had one TD himself.. And why throw the ball (and risk an interception, like Romo ) when you have a rookie in Morris running for 200 yards and three scores himself?
The Redskins are on a fast course to failure if they don't teach RGTebow how to run a pro-style offense some time soon. This gimmicky read option bullshit works well in college, but sooner or later it aint gonna work anymore in the pros. Teams will find a way to stop it. It's only worked this long because of the Redskins "cupcake" schedule.

No love for the Cowboys...even though 90% of my family are Cowboys fans, they get to eat Crow all year.
Texans have to be road warriors now, fuck they just gave the 1st round away! Id rather play the Pats again than the Broncos, their fucking monsters right now.....we should be ok vs the Bengals.

I trashed RG3 in the beginning of the season, but he is a stud. He can do much more than Andrew Leaf, who I think is the 3rd best rookie to Wilson and RG3.

Nice to see you have been honest in your assessment, and your thinking has turned around regarding RG3.
Congrats also on the Falcons' fine season. Perhaps we'll see them in the playoffs.
Boy, Pat Shurmur was a fussy mess with the press post game. Surprised he wasn't fired before the team headed back home. No one likes to be fired or watch anyone get fired. The guy has kids in school, has a nice house, etc. That shit isn't easy, but getting fired from a multimillion dollar job to just go and take another very high six digit job doesn't really bring out much pity from me, sorry Pat. "I have kids in college, I have mouths to feed," was his response to the beat writers about losing his job, btw.

I would normally think the hawks would have this game wrapped up, but I can only imagine how bad the crowd noise is going to be. The game could determine rookie of the year. Should be the most watched game of the first round.
The NFC playoffs look wide open. None of those teams appear dominant at this point. I think we're going to see some entertaining games the next few weeks. It wouldn't be a shock to see one of the wild card teams get to the NFC Championship game.
Wow look at Levi, his new thing to do is bash the wildcard teams. Even tho two of them had the same record as his Redskins. And wait,
TWO of them did better! Care to guess who one of those was? one was Seattle but SUPRISE the other was the Colts.
I know he loves to bash P-13 anyway he can but this is getting stupid. I'm sure if someone took the time to dig back three years, they could find him complaining about when Seattle won the division with a 7-9 record and how they shouldn't be allowed to play at home when they have lesser wins then whoever .
P-13's blind allegiance to the Colts no matter what, may make him a little annoying. But I am surprised Levi and his full on hate obsessed vendetta for P-13 hasn't attacked Pagano for looking funny with his bald head yet.
Hammers are falling.
Jets fire Mike Tannenbaum but will keep Rex Ryan.
Browns fire Pat Shurmur and general manager Tom Heckert
Jags fire GM Gene Smith
Philly fires Reid.
