Anyone trying to make a case for Luck getting the award based on this "reasoning" is beyond fucking stupid.
Yards are not the only reasoning. Listen to the audio above, then get back to me.
How about thinking for yourself instead of quoting articles since it's pretty easy to find an article making a case for 4 or 5 of the rookies?

Why Luck shouldn't be RotY:
1. Too many INTs
2. Too low completion %
3. Lousy QB rating
4. Compiled his numbers against one of the league's weakest schedules.
5. Dismal performances on the road.

Well we all saw what happens to RGTebow when he faces a good defense and is forced to throw the ball. He CAN'T do it. Skins fans are worried, not just about his knee, but about the fact that they have a one dimensional running QB.

Luck played a great game, he just did not receive any help from his O-line or his receivers, other than Wayne. But I was very happy with the play of Luck.

RG3 = 2 TD PASSES in the first quarter
Luck = 0 TD passes the WHOLE GAME.

So the only real question now is how much impact RGIII's injury's will have on voting. Russell is the last rookie standing, but Griffin showed himself to be deserving of rookie MVP minus the injuries.

Have the votes already been cast or do the voters have more time before they can vote?
I would hope that votes are due before the playoffs begin.

If that is true, then there is clearly a winner and a loser here.
A. Luck has no chance of winning the award over
Wilson or RGIII.
Take A. Luck out of the equation and the decision is very difficult.

It'll be Wislon or RG3, Even a one legged RG3 had a better postseason debut than Andrew George., that Bal/Indy game was comedy gold.

I have no idea, I figured it would have been announced yesterday or today if it was over. That maybe they were waiting a week because of all three in the playoffs.

If you remember, last year the awards were announced right around
the SB week.
Not sure if this year will be a repeat or not.

The votes have already been cast. The league holds off on announcing the winners. They usually do it during Super Bowl week as part of the run up to the game. For what it's worth, I thought Wilson played better than either of the other two today although it wont impact who wins the ROY. Seattle has themselves a real deal QB. That's a damn good football team.

How many yards did he have? Oh, I forgot yards aren't important to RGTebow fans.

Wrong. The five finalists were announced at the end of the regular season, and the voting continues until January 29th.

My vote goes to Russell Wilson, but I think it will be between him & RGIII.

The only stat that stands out for Luck is the 4,000+ yards. However, he only got that many because he had to throw the ball 230 more times than the other two. If you look at Yds per attempt...

RGIII- 8.1
Wilson- 7.9
Luck- 7.0

...that kind of crushes that argument.

QB rating...
RGIII- 102.4
Wilson- 100.0
Luck- 76.5

Comp. %...
RGIII- 65.6
Wilson- 64.1
Luck- 54.3

TD/Int...
RGIII- 20/5
Wilson- 26/10
Luck- 23/18

Rushing Yds & TDs...
RGIII- 826 yds. & 7 TDs
Wilson- 489 yds. & 4 TDs
Luck- 255 yds. & 5 TDs

Then with ESPN's other formula, the Total QB Rating...
RGIII- 71.4
Wilson- 69.6
Luck- 65.0

RGIII & Wilson outperform Luck in all those categories.

If Seattle manages to beat Atlanta in Atlanta... Wilson might just win this thing.

No please explain How Luck was better than either when the stats say otherwise, Or are You going with career backup Tim Hasselbeck Dumbfuck argument that Luck should get it because He was asked to "shoulder" the load more.

Oh, don't bother.

It's not worth the time arguing with a dim witted nut sack. The kid gets off on all the attention. He probably only even likes the Indianapolis Colts because he thinks the helmets are "pretty".

Andrew Luck

Most passing yards in a single game by a rookie quarterback: 433
Most passing yards by a rookie in a single season: 4,374
Most 300+ yards passing games by a rookie QB
Most wins by a #1 pick QB in his rookie season
Most game-winning drives by a rookie quarterback
Most fourth quarter comebacks by a rookie quarterback

Levy and dtmfs say: terrible season.

No one has said terrible season, in fact I'm sure We've both said George 2.0 has the potential to be ....good. those inflated numbers don't mean shit in todays NFL, The all time greats like Elway and Montana would be having a field day with todays rules. Wilth all those "records" the guy still finished towards the bottom in QB rating and was towards the top in turnovers and again towards the bottom in passing%. That is whats terrible about his season, and also why the only awards given to him thus far is 2 time offensive rookie of the week and an entire season of his balls in your mouth.

And then You have RG3, the awards keep piling up by experts not people on a messege board...even with one leg He's a better QB than Your precious Goatbeard and You know it Which is why You'll be on suicide watch when the time comes to sport Your new sig.
