This team beat thios team, that team beat this team. Yeah, 3 -3. We can just talk about what teams beat those SEC teams. In the bowls.

Louisville was desrving of their Bowl placement...their schedule and record reflected them being in a high profle bowl game...

And like I said, if every Bowl game they were in was won by the SEC team, you would say it was because the other teams were cream-puffs, and if the SEC teams lost, its because they are over-hyped...you cant have it both ways...

If Bama gets beat, then I will give Notre Dame their due credit for doing something that no other team has did in 6 tries...taking a BCS Title away from the SEC. Then I will look onto next season where Alabama will be rightfully ranked in the Top 5, coming back with only 2-3 losses in starters and the Top Recruiting class geared up and ready to play... 8)

Fuck the SEC. The worst years of my life were spent being forced to be in the marching band at South Carolina and suffering through all those games with Brad Scott as our coach. I hate every single team in the SEC.

Uh-oh...there goes another win for the SEC. I guess Oklahoma was just a scrub team since Texas A&M manhandled them so well. Or, is it because A&M was a Big 10 team last year and not really an SEC team... Or, is it all just Johnny "Football"...

Bowl recap of the SEC:

Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl - Vanderbilt 38, NC State 24
Chick-fil-A Bowl - Clemson 25, LSU 24
TaxSlayer.com Gator Bowl - Northwestern 34, Mississippi St. 20
Capital One Bowl - Georgia 45, Nebraska 31
Outback Bowl - South Carolina 33, Michigan 28
Allstate Sugar Bowl - Louisville 33, Florida 23
AT&T Cotton - Texas A&M 41, Oklahoma 13
BBVA Compass - Ole Miss vs. Pittsburgh - Still to be played (Ole Miss projected to win)
BCS National Championship - Alabama vs. Notre Dame - Still to be played (Alabama projected to win)

That`s 9 bowl games total, with 4 wins and 3 losses at this time...if the projections prove true, that will be 6 wins and 3 losses, and another BCS title....and back to back titles at that (unprecedented). No other conference this year can claim anything near or better... 8)

Yeah, I stand by the SEC and their bowl playing so far...
Hate on haters...

You're not understanding me at all. It's time the SEC has to prove that the 5th or 6th best team in the conference belongs in the top ten by playing better teams in the regular season and quit playing division two teams 3 times a year.

If you don't agree with that, you're nothing but a homer.

I understand what you are saying...I just dont happen to agree with it considering how lucrative the BCS system has made College Football...and its obvious that the NCAA doesnt mind it as well.

The only way any team is going to schedule more "tougher" OOC games is if the monetary payout exceeds the possible payout of a BCS Bowl game. There are a lot of these smaller FBS teams that would never get a red nickel, let alone $500,000 if it werent for them playing the Alabamas, LSU`s, USC`s and Oklahomas year in and out... The best part? Occasionally one of these teams gets lucky and knocks down a perennial, and that then turns everything on its ear...

As broken as you seem to think it is, just explain to me how the BCS doesnt take away from these softer OOC schedules? Because its obviously the Human Pollsters and later the BCS Computer that decides where teams are sitting in the polls. Do that and I wont argue about it anymore...until then, it is what it is...

I got a feeling if the Big 10 or Pac 10 was getting these breaks, BB wouldn't be so good with it.

4-3 and still mediocre (The original point of this thread)

5 and 3 now, and if that is considered mediocre...well I guess the SEC will just have to wear that badge with pride...

And for the record, the Big 10 and Pac 12 could get all the breaks in the world and I wouldnt give a shit as long as my team of choice played to the best of their abilities.

This game sucks. I don't have a rooting interest, was just hoping for a good game. This sure ain't one. Notre Dame doesn't look like they bothered to show up. How many tackles can a team miss in one game?

Yep, yet another "soft" team that the BCS set-up for Alabama(insert any SEC team) to roll over.... :?

Fact is, the better team won tonight. The better defense showed its true colors, Crimson and White, same as the better offense. And the Heisman runner-up was of no concern in the entire game...

Now, all you Alabama and SEC haters feel free to pile on and explain away Alabamas win....

For those counting, thats 15 recognized National Championships, 3 BCS National Championships in 4 years (4th for the state if we include Auburns), 1st ever back-to-back BCS National Champs, and 7th consecutive BCS title to be won by the SEC...unmatched by any other conference... 8)

Coach Kelly's game plan was atrocious. Lost a lot of faith in him tonight. How about running the ball and not send wrs streaking down the field?

Not a good night when the Head Coachs only real game plan is hoping the other team decides to stay in the locker room...

Heather Cox: "Where do the fixes need to come in the second half?"

Brian Kelly: Well, maybe if Alabama forgets about coming back out of the locker room…"Uh, maybe Alabama doesn't come back in the second half, It's all Alabama.
