Hell I'd take Unitas if we're talking great Colts' quarterbacks..

"So what is the story here? Is it the Ravens? Or ANOTHER Peyton playoff flameout?"
Darren Sharper - "Peyton is one and done in the playoffs EIGHT TIMES. You can't mention him the Montanas, Elways, Youngs, or Bradys as an elite playoff quarterback."
I kind of feel bad for Peyton...but He'll never be able to shake that choke label. As for the question If it were possible I'd take Manning in the regular season and have Joe ready to go for the post season. Montana always amazed me in the way that He was not very gifted talent wise compared to his star peers of his day,Elway and Marino Especially, But him and the 49ers bitch-slapped em' both in the game that counts the most. I'd take alot of QB's over Joe in the regular season even though he was def no slouch, but when it comes to a must win game there isent anyone I'd take over Joe, Brady would be the only other possible choice IMO.

He's obviously never going to win in the playoffs again - what with his worsening performances. Seems he never recovered from choking in the Super Bowl when he realized he wasn't playing a team led by Rex Grossman.
So he'll continue playing and maybe lose another couple playoff games. If he just retired when neckapolypse happened, people would have remembered him more fondly.
But looks like he's going the Brett Favre route.
At least Favre has a winning record in the postseason. And many records that manning will never attain. Also, not a douchebag.
WHAT?! Favre is a gigantic douchebag for any number of reasons.

Yeah but Farve was one tough SOB dude could take hits and scramble only his last season was he really not playing all that well due to injuries. Plus that Saints bounty robbed him of potentially going to the Superbowl.

No shit. Favre is one of the biggest douchebags to ever play the position. What has Manning ever done to deserve that label? Yeah, he can't win in the playoffs, but his cock shots never ended up on the Internet as far as I know.
Fran Tarkenton is the only guy who played in his era that his stats compare to nowadays. He only missed one game in his first 14 years and the refs didn't protect him.
