As it turns out... the "girl" Manti Te'o fell in love with & had over 100 intimate telephone conversations with... WAS A MAN! That's right, that Tuiasosopo dude was speaking in falsetto... and Manti Te'o never figured it out.

What a fucking bizarre story! So the pic of the real chick lives in Torrance eh? That means that she lives within a few of miles of me. She looks like all of the other hot Asian chicks in Torrance, which there are a lot of. The city's like a third Asian.

The woman whose picture was used to create Manti Te'o's fake girlfriend has been identified, but the voice of the woman who had hours of late-night phone calls with the Notre Dame star linebacker has remained silent. Turns out that's because it reportedly was a man.

The lawyer for the man who has been identified as behind the hoax, Ronaiah Tuiasosopo, told the New York Daily News that his client disguised his voice and assumed the identity of Lennay Kekua to try to develop a relationship with Te'o.

Milton Grimes said that Te'o "thought it was a female he was talking with. It was Ronaiah as Lennay."

Then for Christ's sake, why not just come out and admit it now? It's the PERFECT time. It would explain everything. It would make him a fucking HERO. You don't think his family has hired some "crisis counselors" to deal with this whole mess? You think their advice would be "keep lying about this, especially when the truth is gonna break sooner rather than later when a photo of you hanging with this dude shows up?"

Do you really think his gayness would have ANY affect on his draft status at this time? The story is bizarre enough that it's done all the damage it's gonna do. The only thing that would hurt his status more is if he gets caught in another titanic lie before the draft - and withholding his relationship with this guy would fill that bill. The draft ain't for MONTHS.

I can't imagine he would take the risk, unless he's insane. If he's been fucking this guy for three years, it's gonna come out before then.

I'm sure many people on his payroll have told him that already.

Maybe he's just into gay phone sex? The other guy is a religious nut too, right? An arrangement that worked for both of them I'd think.

yes, I think it would. Although football skills are a predominant factor, there are marketing issues always in play and the NFL is still in the ice age when it comes to having "out" gays on the team -- see the recent comment for the 49er defensive back . . . .
