thank you in advance
It's for humbuckers but just treat it as if they were single conductor P-90's, there's a note on there for single conductor pickups

I walked into my office last week and my co-worker hands me a Gretsch Electromatic Les Paul Jr type guitar. Very much a cheapie but I stripped her down and I'm putting in some quality stuff to bring her to life. He bought it for his son but he never got into playing so its been collecting dust.

I just finished up my first build, a Strat and it really came out nice. I had it relic'd by a guy in town and it looks so good now. I did the final set up but couldn't get the damn thing to stay in tune to save my life and the intonation was way way off. I took it to the shop and they said that the nut was too high(Warmoth neck came w/Graphtec nut) and they are fixing that issue for me. I had a blast doing it and can't wait to dig in w/the new Gretsch.

Wattage and Toro, Thanks for the P90 info!

Actually got to play one of Keef's a few years ago. Z's are pretty rough guitars for the most part. It was cool as hell though.

That link is gone unfortunately. I wanted to see it.

Anyways, I was stopping in because every musician stops here.

Have you heard of Emily Bear?

She's piano, but is possibly the best musician of our lifetime.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUx4t4W4eVY

You always hear of these prodigies, and when you notice the story is old and google em, nothing. It's like one of the neighbors finally called child services over all the crying and piano music.

She definitely ran with it

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A9zitspcu88

If someone were to give her a Little Richard CD, she could rule the fucking world.

Sorry didn't mean it like that I was commenting on the actual Zemaitis guitars sorry. The Xaviere's are cool little guitars.

Nice.
I once got to play a Z bass owned by Ronnie Lane. It was beautiful and played like butter.

I also played 2 of Rich Robinsons (and a few others) which I thought were pretty nice, the more Tele bodied ones. I can definitely see the appeal of them, but crazy money.

Besides Ronnie Lane's bass, the only other one I've seen close up was a lefty Les Paul-ish one, owned by Bobby Womack, but I didn't dare touch it.

I ended up liking the Plexi Drive so much I decided to build a Pinnacle to go along with it. I'm definitely loving these Wampler designs. Probably the best dirt pedals I ever used.

You're building from scratch? That's awesome! Those are pretty expensive over the counter. What does it cost you to make one? I put up a bunch of stuff on Ebay laqst night; Keank Distortus Maximus, Keeley (style) modded BOSS SuperOverdrive, HBE PowerScreamer, Rocktek Chorus, Rocktek Flanger, Hamer Chapparel project, Ibanez 24 fret project... more to go list tonight.

For these two, they ended up costing approximately $80 each when all is said and done, not including time spent. I have just discovered that there is literally a huge amount of info out there if you want to build your own. I like doing it because it's fun and yes in some cases it saves you a few bucks.

Getting interested in anything Catalinbread, as well as Mojo Hand. Pickups for Teles/Strats or F-spaced humbuckers. Another Tele/T-style guitar. Really considering anything at this point.
