Holy shit, this Raw is abysmal. I honestly think that they thought they'd have some sort of framework ironed out tonight for Mania, but after watching so far, it's clear they have no idea what they want to do. I think the Punk/Cena/Rock triple threat match is going to be a lock after next week, and that Undertaker is out.

Dave Meltzer reports that the new belt was just a last-minute emergency solution, because WWE had been counting on Jeff Hardy coming back, bringing his own gorgeous customized belt with him. According to undisclosed backstage sources, that was actually the main reason for wanting to resign him.

I will agree it's better than the Cena belt, but that's not hard to top.

I noticed there's no name plate. Are they going to customize the side panels for each Champion? Or do the Bulls represent that The Rock was the first one to hold this belt.

I like it as well. Much, much better than the spinner. Seeing the pictures of the Rock with it draped over his shoulder gives it a whole lot more legitimacy IMO. Don't think it would have the same effect if Punk had debuted it. As much as I like the guy, he commented on it months ago saying it wasn't "that much better". I think knowing that... it would've been really underwhelming if he had brought the title in and didn't even really care for it. Makes me wonder if he was against being the one to bring it in?

I'm not that impressed with the new belt the way The Rock was talking beforehand I thought it was just going to be a replica of the older style the way it is now its going to have to change again whenever he loses the title, cough at Wrestlemania.

Take a good look at Big E Langston or Ryblack whatever you want to call him but it's too bad he can't find an exercise to build his ears up.

I can't help but look at how big he is and then notice that it appears as if he has baby ears.

TMZ is reporting the following:

WWE star Jack Swagger was arrested last night in Mississippi, TMZ has learned -- after allegedly driving under the influence ... with pot in his car.

Sources close to the situation tell TMZ, Swagger -- real name Jacob Hager -- was leaving a "Smackdown" taping at Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi when he was pulled over for speeding.

According to law enforcement, the officer who pulled him over determined Swagger was driving under the influence -- and a search revealed Swagger was in possession of marijuana.

We're told Swagger -- a former WWE World Heavyweight champ -- was taken in by local sheriff's deputies ... and later released on his own recognizance.

We reached out to WWE, who tells TMZ, "Mr. Swagger is responsible for his own personal actions."

I like Swagger - but this likely accelerates the Orton heel turn so that he faces ADR at Mania instead. Hopefully ADR retains with Ziggler cashing in.

As far as the new WWE title - at first I didn't like it. I saw the replica on WWE Shop and I have to say it grew on me. Not the best belt they've ever had, but lightyears beyond the spinner. Had it been Punk's choice, he probably would have wanted to debut the rumored 3D eagle title.
