But it is the Flyers and they usually beat the Isles.

*Whew!* Now THAT wasn't so bad.
Right before the game Capuano states that Rickey might get two starts this week.

there went team moral.

Face it, the Flyers were PISSED about how things had been going lately, and the Isles packed it in after 3-0.

The Isles walked into the locker room, saw that hideous 3rd jersey hanging in their stalls and packed it in.

I don't doubt it. It was clear, observing his ongoing battle with Emelin all night, that he was in a shitty mood, that only got shittier, throughout the Habs game.

Good for him. Just glad he got mad AFTER the Habs game. :D

After losing 3-0 against the Leafs, attendance is going to be suffering. On a 5 game losing skid. Next up - Philly!

Sabres fire Ruff.
Funny how they built that team to beat the Bruins and that seems to be the only team they can beat.

Exciting, crazy game last night verses The Pens. (Actually a pretty typical Flyers/Pens game. :P )
Wayne The Motherfuckin' Night Train Simmonds brought it last night.
I was just happy to see that The Flyers never gave up. I thought for sure we were headed to the dreaded shootout after The Pens scored that last goal to tie it up.

Habs vs. Isles tonight. Isles arrived in town yesterday and partied hard per local sources.

I suppose they couldn't do worse than the 7-0 drubbing the took against Philly. Who know, if they win, they may have found the magic formula.

EDIT: 2-0 Habs after one period. Shots 14-2 Habs.

EDIT 2: Fuck me. I knew it. God damn trap game. Way to end a 5 game winning streak.

No remove. Added the final result as a means of eating crow.

The cross-check/injury didn't keep Tavares from setting up the winning goal in OT.

Re stepping up for teammates, I have a major mancrush on Brandon Prust. You have to admire him taking on Frankenstein when he knew he'd have little chance to win.

Flyers look tired as shit. Simmonds and Voracek are the only guys producing right now.

Yep, I would love Prust on my team.

The Islss have dominated a couple of games this year and lost, nice to have the other way for one.

Rickey DiPietro waived!! There is a God.

No wonder. You been to a game yet? They're kinda good. You know something is going on when my wife is paying attention.

She almost fainted when Emery took his mask off.

Sing Duncan Keith and he's got no teeth to the tune of AC/DCs Dirty Deeds.

Sorry to ruin anyone's day, but that shit is catchy.

Did You Know?
Gordie Howe only had two Gordie Howe Hat Tricks in his career.
October 10, 1953 and March 21, 1954.
A proud Steve Jones nutswinger since 1977.
