WRs that are Welker's age are just known to still light up the field right? They can't seem too come to a deal, he drops crucial passes in big games. If he doesn't accept the first or second deal that is offered, move on. You really think the Patriots should pay him 11-12 million and tag him again if he doesn't agree to the deal they put on the table? Your dumb ass really thinks that?eddie lee roth wrote:That statement is so full of stupid I have to ask, have you been hanging out with lil pp?AliceManson wrote:Welker is way past his prime.Facedown wrote: Reports are out the the Pats may also be close to a 5yr/40mil deal with Wes Welker.

Gregg has zero brains.
The historic Locker Room meltdown has left him grasping at straws.
It is sad to watch.

The numbers don't lie just look at his stats, the guy is in some elite company with the records that he holds.
The Pats should do everything they can to make sure he stays on the team.

The kid has limited talent.
And this was news before his 40 yard dash time was made public.
I only hope a team like the Jets draft him in the 2nd round and
see their wasted pick.
I think this kid has less talent that Tebow

Should they offer him a deal, yes. Should they give them a massive deal, no. The Patriots don't do business like that. There is no way they will dish out a massive contract. He will be 32, he is past his prime, his productivity could drop drastically without a warning like it has for many other players.eddie lee roth wrote: The numbers don't lie just look at his stats, the guy is in some elite company with the records that he holds.

Levi
Last week the Skins went public with news that
RGIII would be ready for game 1 of the 2013 NFL season.
How do you feel about that?
Are you leaning towards rushing him, playing 2-3 exhibition games and be
there for week 1 or are you much more cautious and prefer not to rush
him back for week 1?

Not really true. They said he is "ahead of schedule" on his recovery and he can/should be able to start week 1.Machado wrote:Levi

I would prefer that he isn't "rushed" and certainly don't want him playing any exhibition games. What's the point? But if he's ready in week 1 I don't see why you don't play him.Are you leaning towards rushing him, playing 2-3 exhibition games and be

If there is ANY doubt, let Cousins start the season. He's obviously a capable starter and there's no reason not to let him play and boost his eventual trade value. If you can go say 2-2 with Cousins at the helm before RG3 comes back, that's a huge, huge win.

A Football Life:Walter Payton
on NFL Network
Just this episode recently.
WOW!
Walter sure was bitter when he did not score a TD in the Super
Bowl vs NE.
I can't blame the guy. Watching the post game footage of him in the locker room & McMahon defending Walter was worth watching the entire
episode.
Ditka is an idiot for giving into pressure and having The Fridge run up the middle for a TD. That was sick and wrong then and still sick and wrong today.
Ditka did not hide from the camera or the questions about that game. He said it's a huge regret and he's still not sure why the events happened as they did that night.
If anybody deserved a TD that night it was Walter. But he also should have been a bit more modest and not so selfish with his actions.

There's no "I" in team.
Walter shouldn't have given a cold fuck if he scored a TD in the Super Bowl or not. He got his fucking ring. There's tons of great players who never scored a touchdown in the Super Bowl.
There's tons of great players who never WON a fucking Super Bowl.
Payton was a fucking baby for taking that bitterness to the grave with him. Seriously, who gives a fuck?
Re: NFL Thread, Bitches!!!!
Levy sticking up for cheaters again, that's a shocker. In any sports cheating scandal, Levy has defended the cheaters in every instance. Wonder why that is? It's a reflection of his life and how he lives it. In his world, lying and cheating is not only ok, it's the norm. He thinks cheating your way through life is OK, as long as you don't get caught.Crazy Levi wrote:This article provides zero evidence.poizond13 wrote:The Patriots are back at it, cheating again! From the "Thoughts on the end of an Era" thread. Evidently there are types of cheating that are OK.

Please explain how Tom Brady taking a hometown discount is cheating.
Since you can't, it will just prove that you're a liar and a troll who knows nothing about football.
Thanks for the confirmation.

Epic post season, but after years of putting caveats on great players because they haven't got it done in the post-season and/or won a superbowl, we've now got the opposite in effect. I mean, he's a solid enough player, and deserved a pay rise, but I'd be amazed if people look back in three years and call this deal a good move.

The Colts have placed the franchise tag on their punter/kicker, you gotta be shitting me a fucking punter/kicker and you place the franchise tag on him, you don't even need to come up with a joke on that one it writes itself.
lil pp wants you to take a trip inside the mind of the Colts "genius" owner, well you better take a flashlight and some popcorn to leave a trail cause its gotta be easy to get lost in that dark and empty space.
