This is pretty spot on. See I think what's happening with the Nationals parallels what's going on in LA, just on opposite ends of the spectrum, a bizzaro Dodgers if you will.

It's not that LA is winning games "they shouldn't" it's their learning how to win all games they could. Take Washington now, they were so hyped, young and hungry, Harper/Strasburg/dynasty in the making, etc. that they didn't learn how to rally back and just fucking win.

I remember a Jeter quote during game 7 of the 2004 ALCS where he mentioned the dugout was all like "all we gotta do is just score 10 runs." That's team confidence that's built not among one player, but the entire roster. LA is gaining a scary amount of confidence right now.

I love the divorce paper idea especially if it's unexpected. While Jumbo-Tron proposals are lame, the possibility that the girl might say "no," in front the entire stadium, on TV and run out while shaking her head is almost worth it It's almost like they cancel eachother out. As for the Dodgers fun time is over, they always struggle down the stretch but I think they can hold the west off....I'll be happy with an ALDS win. If Kemp comes back he not only has to add he'll have to gel or it's going to be a cluster fuck. I'd start giving Hanley day's off in favor of Punto and send someone to bitch slap Puig......He's so much more green mentally then I expected.

I feel Atlanta is the team to beat in the NL.
