Going to make the 5 1/2 hour drive to Atlanta to see the Boys In Blue Thursday and Friday.

Go Dodgers.

Once again Bud Selig and the persons in charge of setting the playoff schedule have failed.
Why is Detroit/Oakland beginning the series on Friday? What's wrong with Wed of this week?

Why can't the TB/Clev series begin today? Why does TB need a day off after winning last night vs Texas??

Dodgers/Braves begins Thurs. Again, what is wrong with kicking off the series Wed?

What's wrong with giving teams a couple of days off so players can rest up a bit and perform as well as they can in the playoffs when so much is on the line?

A couple days vs 5 days off is a huge difference.

Tigers and Red Sox won't play until Friday. That's 5 days off since their last game on Sunday.

Yeah, but he's all about giving his hometown asshole Aroid every benefit of the doubt.

I'm in agreement with Machado on Arod. Yeah, he's an asshole, yeah he was juiced for the MFY's "win if for the dead boss" victory, etc. The deal is that's what was negotiated with the CBA.

I have no doubt in my mind that Selig's "I'm making an example for the integrity of the game" bullshit, is really so media darlings NY get off the hook for that fucking contract and get that clubhouse cancer gone.

I'm hoping Arod wins his appeal, NY can't afford their upcoming FAs and have to deal with giving out all that money on 10 year contracts. I think it's beautiful personally. You reap what you sow.

Hey Ratt and Neversurrender, check this out for your upcoming playoff:

Records: Braves 96-66, Dodgers 92-69 (not including Sunday’s Dodgers game).

Season series: Braves, 5-2.

NL rank, runs scored: Braves 5, Dodgers 7.

NL rank, home runs: Braves 1, Dodgers 10.

NL rank, stolen bases: Dodgers 7, Braves 12.

NL rank, starters’ ERA: Dodgers 1, Braves 4.

NL rank, relievers’ ERA: Braves 1, Dodgers 9.

NL rank, fewest errors: Braves 5, Dodgers 14.

Series is gonna be fucking awesome.

*edit*

Game 1 starter vs. Kershaw, Medlen just won NL pitcher of the month. Gonna be a good one.

Tell me more about how Christian Ponder # 7, small white guy looks like an NFL rb again.

Your opinion on my sports IQ means zero to me. I mean you thought christian Ponder who wears number 7 was an NFL rb. You couldn't get any dumber than that.

Yankees announced the team will make an official offer
to Girardi Wednesday.

I hope the team can convince him to return for another tenure.

Tony Pena is a fine bench coach but I don't think he would be an upgrade
over Girardi.

Should have said ball carrier, read the play and not the jerseys, have no clue who most of today's players are or I simply blanketed whatever question you asked.

Tell me how you didn't know that dude "briggs?" the LB was really an OLB...or a could be DB in million situations? Since you talk a lot and want to get technical lets hear it? You can tell me their names and I'll tell you what they do?

I did go back and look at the pic then I went to the Bears page for a glance, exactly how it is. Bears run a 4-3 zone and briggs? is an OLB. Now lets talk about his gaps, assignments, check options and what kind of OLB he is. You're next....And put it in the football thread.
I knew if I replayed you'd go Nintendo and I'd waste my breath teaching you how to play. So how bout you don't reply, we'll go back to posting or you create a new thread ME vs YOU and we'll measure dicks. I'll brag about being overrated, take pictures of equipment, trophy's, helmets and shit that don't matter while you show me nothing. I've got more used cleats then you have braincells, in fact I'll take a picture of my cleats and watch you google what they're used for.

Killeverything, posters, sorry to snag P13....I mean soliderunderaman.. neversurrender in your thread.

Almost forgot.......And stop being a DODGER FAN!

You act like Boston never had a bunch of juice heads and bloated contracts. Selig isn't trying to look out for the Yankees. Of course MLB hates ARod. That is well earned for his conduct and there is a lot more to his case than just using. Whatever happens here, they are going after him in that 2009 case as well and I hope they nail him again.

As far as reaping what you sow--I guess that is true unless the Dodgers are willing to take your mistakes off your hands...

The match I want to see is Pirates vs Braves. I'd much rather watch the Dodgers face the Cardinals.

The Dodgers made it and odds are that's where it ends. Andre Ethier is the key player in my eyes, he was a consistent component and with him down things could change drastically. Puig came in green with a spark plug and help lift the team, who's going to lift them now? It's down to two hot bad ass pitchers facing a team with a lot of strikeouts. On the books the first two could be close.

Dodgers win 1.

Or the Dodgers sweep the fucking faggots of Atlanta and go all the way!

Yep, that's why you tried to explain your way out of it with your 'The lb lined up as a DB and that's what made him a linebacker" take.

I knew you were just saying that so you had something to fuck with me about, but as soon as you tried to defend your ridiculous take you came out looking like a real dumb ass. With your logic, if a coach lines up a punter as an upback on a fake punt he should be able to run people over like a fb or TE.

Also, kind of hard to start shit with me all the time, then call me p13. You're the p13 type troll here, Mr. cleats.

But, the point remains I couldn't care less what you think about my sports IQ.

Let's not forget that Gino Gonzalez was accused of PED use at the same clinic. Only months later he was proved innocent and the media reported the items he purchased from that same clinic were legit.
So if one player can walk into that place and purchase legal items, who's to say how many more MLB players were doing the very same.

I wish this was televised...Remember though that MLB offered with his lawyer and the players association the waiver where they would put everything out in the public and ARod's legal team could as well. Arod's lawyer kept mouthing off about wanting something like that and then clammed the hell up once MLB put it in his face.

In the least, they have Bosch saying he provided them to ARod. His credibility might not be the best but that is the case typically with drug dealers and they have a number of players that will vouch for his story. They have text, records and email stuff and they have ARod paying his lawyer and then tying to slide another huge payment to them again. Also, the players association was up front that they would have encouraged ARod to accept the deal if the offer had been right as opposed to 211 games.

ARod and his lawyers claim to have seen the evidence and if MLB has nothing or as little as they say, then they should of been all over MLB's offer to humiliate themselves. Instead they finally shut the hell up and backed down.

I don't think the 211 gets held up but I do see 150, 100 on the low end. They are also trying to get at his grand jury testimony from the other doctor he was juicing from in 2009. Doubtful that will happen here yet (unless ARod tries a federal suit that manages not to get tossed) but I sure hope it does.

The money is one thing but I don't really care about that. Yankees were ignorant to sign him to that deal and that is on them. Outside of this upcoming years goal of under $189 it doesn't really matter anyway. I just want his smug ass to go down hard on this.
