Clearly he is acting defiant for a good reason

So far here are the fines he has accumulated in his career:
$42,000 for two hits in a Week 2 loss at Green Bay.
$50,000 for a hit in 2010 with New England and
$45,000 in fines a year later with Chicago.

But how is he supposed to play safety in the modern goodell vagina NFL without headhunting and racking up fines? Literally nobody else has figured this out!!!!Machado wrote:He has appealed the 2 game suspension.WTF wrote:Brandon Meriweather is an idiot.

Kudos to the NFL for actually suspending somebody and not just taking their money.
And something deserved, not like that ED Reed bullshit suspension that got overturned. Suh should be next.

It's not 1960 anymore. This kind of garbage can't be tolerated on the field if the NFL expects to continue doing business.

It's a league run by pussies now. Not men, fucking pussies,,
Shit.. Players from the fucking 90's couldn't play in this league. It's a joke.
Getting worse by the year... But, like the retarded crackhead midget fight , you just gotta watch it..
Can't "tolerate" that playing any longer, or the NFL will not be able to be in business..
What fucking world do you live in? Is there a shortage of below average students (some are smart, I know, fuck off) that like to hit the piss outta other players?
I think not..
Merriweather, yes, he is a shit stain. That other "penalty" being talked about in here is a joke..

Re: The NFL Thread
I'm sure Suh will get suspended this year, but not because he deserves it. Every football show will then be playing every hit he has been fined for and everyone can judge for themselves. Personally I see worse hits that are not fined in almost every game I watch.
Suh got labeled as the villain and people are reluctant to forgive.

Oh, I agree with the bullseye. His hit to John Sullivan's knee warranted a suspension this season, but they just took a 100 grand instead.Redman77 wrote:Why, because the media says so? And like I said, that bullshit hit he got fined 30,000 grand for hitting Weeden the other day was ridiculous. More ridiculous than ED Reed last season.

I agree. The hit Suh delivered on Weeden was a clean hit in my opinion. Nothing dirty about that play but Suh has made a name for himself as a dirty player and his defiant attitude has not helped his cause.NeverSurrender wrote:Oh, I agree with the bullseye. Re: The NFL Thread
Hey Redman, you think the Lions can hold off the Packers and their non existent offensive line and win the division?
You know the rest of the division is cheering for you. Even with your douche for a coach.
Machado, that Suh fine like I posted about what Stinky Schlereth said, shows this shit is all about getting some cash back they had to pay out for ignoring head injuries forever.
And before that dude who follows me around comes in here claiming these fines go to charity, is that like the breast cancer shit, where the charity gets almost none of then money?

Jeez.

The news at quarterback for the Vikings isn’t getting any better.
Josh Freeman, who had a bad outing in starting his first game with the Vikings on Monday night, has suffered a concussion and may not be able to play this week against Green Bay, the team announced.
Vikings coach Leslie Frazier confirmed today that Freeman’s status is in doubt, and that if Freeman can’t go, Christian Ponder would return to the starting lineup when the Packers come to town on Sunday night.

Re: The NFL Thread
The Skins are falling apart right before our eyes.
Brandon Meriweather's teammates fired back at comments from the Chicago Bears after the hard-hitting safety was flagged for two personal fouls Sunday, with Washington Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall saying he has no respect for tight end Martellus Bennett.
"I don't know [Bennett] personally, but he had a chance to say whatever he wanted to during the game, after the game -- and the kid didn't open his mouth," Hall said. "No respect for a guy who wants to take a shot after the fact. No respect for a guy like that."
Redskins cornerback Josh Wilson scoffed at the idea that Meriweather should be kicked out of the league. He and Hall both pointed to safety Reed Doughty, who took a vicious hit while diving for an onside kick and suffered a concussion.
"Brandon Marshall would be kicked out of the league for pushing off every time he gets to the top of the route," Wilson said. "Every time a receiver comes in and cracks on a safety, he should be kicked out of the league for hitting him. The guy that hit Reed Doughty on the kickoff -- I could hear it from the sideline ... no one says anything about punching [that player] in the face. It has nothing to do with anybody having a vendetta against anyone. We're just out there trying to play football the best way we know how.

I don't see how those quotes is an example of a team falling apart. Reads like they are sticking up for their teammate and they are tired of the blatant fucking double standard in football that defense's have to deal with.Machado wrote:The Skins are falling apart right before our eyes.
