Winston claims the sex was consensual.
Entire situation has cover up written all over it.
Tallahassee Police/Campus Police did everything they could to protect
the player so the school could continue winning games.
FRIKKIN SHAME!!

Re: NCAA Football...why dont we have a thread for it?
Interesting. Comment from one of the ESPN articles.
1.) Winston had a girlfriend from back in high school who is a basketball player at Rice University.
2.) The alleged victim was a hook up buddy/side piece who knew Winston, her roomate dated a WR on the FSU Football team.
3.) His girlfriend was set to fly in to spend the weekend with Winston, obviously having a side piece is not cool and he attempts to break it off.
4.) This upsets alleged victim, as she had hopes for more and wanted to be the #1 in Winstons life
5.) She was upset on twitter around 11:45 on december 6, and talked to a friend on twitter if she needed to call her.
6.) In a fit of rage, she claims Rape.
7.) Wheels get set in motion and FSUPD refers over to Tallahassee Police Department, she panics and says she does not know the perpetrator and describes someone completely different than Winston. She does get a rape kit administered.
8.) At a later date, she finally does identify Winston, but after she was questioned/warned about her inconsistent statements and decided she better drop it. She becomes unresponsive to requests from TPD to gather more information.
9.) Meanwhile Winstons party becomes aware of an ongoing claim/investingation to rape. WInston is truthful to the Attorney/Jimbo Fisher from the get go about the whole situation with the alleged victim. Additionally, he provides two witnesses confirming what happened that night including his teammate and HER ROOMATE. They sign written affidavits confirming Winstons innocence.
10.) Months pass by and her Aunt Lawyer catches wind of the possible rape of her niece...and although the girl still doesn't want to press charges Super Aunt & Partner/Associate Press on sensing a potential civil case.
11.) Alleged victimes Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram accounts are suspended within the last week
12.) There are tweets, pictures and posts that will prove she was still cheering on the very team/player that she claimed rape against
13.) They lead the case ID # To Matt Baker and TMZ in attempt to bring this controversy to light...Works like a charm.
14.) As the case is getting moved forward the facts will start to come out, pretty soon the whole thing will unravel since she was never honest and the whole thing snowballed and got away from her.

When the story broke my thought were no way that Winston was guilty. After watching his segment and story I didn't believe he was that type of guy. I like him and hope he makes it to the NFL.Redman77 wrote:14.) Nebraska 23 vs Penn State 20 - NEB had to go into overtime to do it.
Not sure how the BCS works I know NEB is eligible but at 8-3, 5-2 Big Ten I'm not sure where they'd go. The Cap'n Crunch bowl?
------------------------------------------------------------------------
(12) Texas A&M 10 vs (22) LSU 34
Johnny Manziel = 16/41 224yds 1td 2INT's 14.9QBR!!
HAHAHAHAHA! Think Johnny A&M will finally drop out of the top 25? They sure as fuck will after #8 Missouri next week. What about making a Bowl appearance? I'll say it again, J-Man isn't going to make a good NFL QB and I hope this loss put's a lid on the all the hype. Manziel practically had his own show on ESPN.
Time to change that MONEY sign of his to LOUZERRRRR!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Idaho 14 vs (2) Florida State 80
1st 21, 2nd 21, 3rd 17, 4th 21

Chattanooga 0 vs (1) Alabama 49

***UPDATE!!!***
(4) Baylor 3 vs (10) Oklahoma State 28 in the 3rd!
Oklahoma State looks great, throw backs, flickers...
Fuck!

Re: NCAA Football...why dont we have a thread for it?
The Iron Bowl will be one of, if not THE biggest games of the SEC and maybe even all of College Football this year! If Auburn gets the win, it will likely knock Alabama out of the BCS Championship...unless voters put Bama with 1 loss to what will be the #4 team after this weeks polls, ahead of undefeated Ohio State based on Strength of Schedule...and that could happen...shit gets freaky at the end of the year. We all know that you do not have to win your Conference in order to get in...Bama proved that and went on to win a BCS title. Also, if Auburn wins, goes to the SEC Championship and wins there and FSU falls in the ACC Title (not likely), then Auburn would be in the BCS Title game against either Ohio State or, wait for it....The Alabama Crimson Tide! Now, wouldnt that just make every motherfucker on the planet shit bricks? An IN STATE BCS Title game....hahahahahaha
And Holy Shit on the Baylor vs Oklahoma State game...WTF happened to Baylor? Did they shit the bed or what? I was really looking forward to them getting a Top 4 Bowl bid...perhaps against Auburn or Oregon...dont know if they will now...
Glad to see Oregon get their asses handed to them again...and to top it off, by Arizona...even had Mariotta get picked 2 times...wonder what they did with all those "We Want Bama" shirts from a few weeks ago....
Something tells me Kevin Sumlin and Johnny Manziel decided to put the brakes on in fear of ruining Johnny prior to the NFL draft...no reason LSU should have twisted that team up that bad. This is the same LSU team that got the ever-loving shit kicked out of them by the same Alabama team that A&M hung 42 points and 400+ yards on...somethings "fishy" down in Baton Rouge....

Re: NCAA Football...why dont we have a thread for it?
Friday after Thanksgiving football can be great too...
#17 LSU vs Arkansas has been a great game. Zettenberger got put out of the game in the 4th, but the back up stepped up and charged the Tigers down the field and put them back ahead of the Razorbacks. LSU will carry this one out and finish with a good year again...
Later tonight, Oregon vs Oregon State will be the game to watch...

Re: NCAA Football...why dont we have a thread for it?
What a great fucking game that was down on the Plains! Got to give Auburn and Gus credit...they played Tide football against the Crimson Tide...they never lost focus and played a full 60 minute game. I dont agree with Sabans final call...if you get that 1 second back, go ahead and shoot a downfield pass for the end zone, if you get great, if not, then its on to OT and you let your systems work. No way in hell would you go for a 57yard FG with your Freshman back-up...not a smart calll in my mind...
Well, to say things arent interesting might be a bold understatement after tonight....lol
#1 Alabama falls to #4 Auburn...#2 Florida State wins over Florida and #3 Ohio State squeaks out a win over Michigan. Now, FSU should move to #1..but who moves to #2? Ohio State who pulled out a 1 point win over an unranked Michigan team, or Auburn who beat the #1 team in the nation by 6? There is the very slimmest of possibilities that Auburn could in fact move ahead of Ohio State....stranger things have happened in the past.
Now,lets look ahead at the Conference Championships: FSU meets # 24 Duke for the ACC...this isnt a cake walk, but likely an FSU win none-the-less...but say it goes sideways and FSU looses...FSU would drop from #1 to below #4 due to Duke being ranked only # 24. Over in the Big 10, #3 Ohio State has to face #11 Michigan State, and game could go either way, but lets say Ohio State falls...who do we have waiting in the wings now? SEC Championship will be #3(2) Auburn vs #5 Mizzou...Auburn should easily win this game, but on the off-chance they dont...there is Alabama, sitting in the cat-bird seat.
BSC Poll will likely look like this Sunday night:
#1 FSU
#2 Ohio State
#3 Auburn
#4 Alabama
#5 Mizzou if they beat Texas A&M tonight..
If FSU and Ohio State each lose their Conference Championships, you could very well possibly see an All SEC, ALL State of Alabama BCS National Championship game...Now, bear in mind thats a lot of "if, when and what-nots", but it "could" happen..dont forget that a Non SEC champ, 1 Loss Alabama, wound up in a rematch against the SEC champ in a BCS Title game, and ultimately won....now wouldnt that just make peoples heads explode all over the nation as well as Alabama....lol

Re: NCAA Football...why dont we have a thread for it?
Yeah, thats the general consensus...but, and there is always that but, any team can beat any other team on any given day. Tonight is a prime example...Alabama was a consensus favorite to beat Auburn, and actually had them beat, and 1 stupid play call sent them packing as a 6 point defeat. It seems to happen every year. This Duke team has played some good ball, and am sure they will give FSU all they can..its up to FSU to bring more to the table...this is the same FSU that only managed to hang 30 points on a woefully underpowered and broke-down Florida today...Tenacious_Dio wrote:Duke has had a great year, but there's no way they beat FSU.

Hell, I`m just tickled shit-less that Duke Football has a 10 win season...they might finally start to take a bit of the spotlight off the damn basketball team...

Re: NCAA Football...why dont we have a thread for it?
It's only UF's offense that completely blows... They were still one of the best defenses in the SEC, and they were pulling out all of the stops today because they had nothing to lose. If they had an offense, they might have had a season. And we put up 37 against 'em, and beat the spread, in Gainesville.BodyBagz wrote:this is the same FSU that only managed to hang 30 points on a woefully underpowered and broke-down Florida today...

Re: NCAA Football...why dont we have a thread for it?
Alrighty then....can the SEC close out the BCS era as we have known it for the past decade with an 8th Consecutive win, and 5th straight time that a team from the state of Alabama was the Champion: Bama 2010, Auburn 2011, Bama 2012 Bama, Bama 2013 and Auburn 2014?
After watching Duke keep FSU scoreless into the 2nd quarter and intercept Winston a couple of times, I think Auburn has plenty enough ass to get the win! Dee Ford is a monster when he gets loose in the backfield and he wrecks QB`s concentration accordingly...he can get to Winston and cause serious damage in the process. Auburns defense isnt the greatest by a stretch, but it is leagues above the majority of teams that FSU has faced this year.
It doesnt happen often, but I will be rooting for the Tigers this go around...keep that fancy crystal trophy here in-state....

Exactly why I think Auburn will make it 8 straight. They did give up a lot to Mizzu...which is a concern...but like you said, FSU hasn't faced this kind of competition.BodyBagz wrote: After watching Duke keep FSU scoreless into the 2nd quarter and intercept Winston a couple of times, I think Auburn has plenty enough ass to get the win! ....... BOOMER SOONER!!!
BOOMER SOONER!!!
Great win on the road Sat vs OK State.
Blake Bell made the play when it mattered the most. I'm sure not very many people watching could have predicted that OU would march into Stillwater and walk off the field with a BCS bowl birth.

Re: NCAA Football...why dont we have a thread for it?
Well, they gave up alot to Mizzou, but they also put alot on Mizzou as well. 550+ yards against a team that hadnt allowed anything like that...this is what can happen when neither team has a real powerful run defense.DaveB wrote:Exactly why I think Auburn will make it 8 straight. Auburn and FSU are pretty well equally matched...Winston and Marshall are both well running QB`s, Winston has a slight edge on the long ball passing, but thats about it. Dee Ford is a defensive beast, and he is where I think Auburn will get the defensive advantage. Sammy Coates on Offense can catch a pass with the best WR in the country and do we even need to talk about Tre Mason at RB...FSU has no one on the offensive side that can put out the way Auburn can and has this year, nor do I think FSU can stop Auburns run game. It should be a great game...

Ok, heres my last "prediction" post for this NCAA Football Season: BCS Bowl Games
1) Tostitos Fiesta Bowl - #15 UCF vs #6 Baylor - Baylor will take this easily by 17+, 42 - 24
2) Orange Bowl: #12 Clemson vs. #7 Ohio State - Braxton Miller and the OSU Blackeyes will carry this one down to the wire but pull out the win by 7, 35 - 28
3) Rose Bowl - #5 Stanford vs. #4 Michigan State - This one is a toughie, but I think Michigan State will come through late in the 4th and squeak by by a FG, 45 - 42
4) Suger Bowl - #3 Alabama vs #11 Oklahoma - Alabama should beat the brakes off the Sooners...this will be AJ`s last game to shine...Bama by 21+, 42 - 21
And finally, the granddaddy, the BCS National Championship - #1 Florida State vs #2 Auburn - I have to believe Auburn can pull this one out as long as Dee Ford can get in the backfield an cause Jameis Winston trouble...but it will be a slobber-knocker much like the SEC Championship was...expect a high scoring game but Auburn making another spectacular win by 7, 48 - 45....in OT.....

Re: NCAA Football...why dont we have a thread for it?
I hate the time lapse between the last game of the season and the bowl games. 5 weeks in some cases. I agree with your pics with *maybe* the exception of the Ohio State. I kind of see them coming out flat. Going undefeated for two years just to have it all fall apart at the end.

Plus, ESPN is now broadcasting all the BCS games.
Which means inferior broadcasters.
I'm ok with not having Verne Lundquist broadcasting the BCS games because
they are PRO-SEC and find a hard time saying anything remotely interesting that a non-redneck would understand or comprehend.

This kid is destined to be an NFL bust.
If he is picked in the top 5 that team picking him will never get maximum value in return.
This is not the kind of kid that wants to be at a high level for 10+ years.
He's lazy, has a poor work ethic and will bounce around from NFL team to NFL team before being out of the game completely within 5 yrs.
He's the next JaMarcus Russell, but with less millions in the bank
Jadeveon Clowney received a ticket Saturday night for driving 110 miles per hour in a 70-mph zone. The South Carolina star was stopped by the South Carolina Highway Patrol on Interstate 77, driving a Chrysler 300, at around 7:30 p.m. ET, according to wistv.com.
