It's hard for me not to like the guy, as pissed as I am.

He's from my hometown, played minor hockey in the same association my son plays in, hell - his mom's funeral was around the corner from my house. Not to mention he was never drafted, educated himself at the University of Vermont, and worked his ass off to get where he is. Great lesson for the kids.

Having said that, I'm heartbroken. Tokarski is playing his heart out. Markov, Emelin, and Desharnais not clearing the zone in OT is unforgiveable. The vanishing act of Vanek and a couple others is a crime. I also don't know what's happened to the Habs' PP?! Is the Rangers kill that good? Is Subban hurt? We convert on special teams and we win that game.

Oh well, we take it game by game now...

Not to worry John, whipping the Blackhawk's ass is probably the worst thing that could have happened to the Kings. They woke up the sleeping giant. In all seriousness, the Hawks are the defending champs and can't be counted out.

Go Kings! It's awesome watching the Blackhawks get spanked.

I was hoping for a King's vs Rangers cup. But if the Rangers are going to take on the Kings they will have to play at their best to win.
But, we'll wait on all that talk till the Bhawks and Habs are actually on their way home...I wont stop sweating till the Rangers put them away.

Sportsnet radio reporting that Carey Price is out skating by himself in full gear an hour before the Habs take their game day skate.

That's nice, but Ben Bishop was doing the same vs the Lightning.

Habs issue is not goaltending, though the Rangers seem to have found a weakness in Tokarski's game.

Game 1 - Habs score 2, lose
Game 2 - Habs score 1, lose
Game 3 - Habs score 3, win
Game 4 - Habs score 2, lose

3 is the magic number to beat King Henrik. The PP needs to be better; our best players need to be better. Word is Vanek has a broken hand and can't shoot - which is why he keeps passing up good shooting options. However, we have a whole lot of other passengers too. I would shake up the lines tonight.

When the Habs were playing the Lightning, Ben Bishop was also skating and practicing a bit, but there was no chance of him playing. It was just to get the Habs thinking.

Price will not play this series. Nobody should read anything into the fact that he's back on skates. It's part rehab, part head game.

I believe it's called HOCKEY EMBELLISHMENT! About fucking time that team of actors got the embarrassment trophy.

I'm still at the 2nd break and not really interested in watching the rest even tho the Rangers have fought back. Going into tonight I didn't think the Rangers was gonna take it, but it's nice to see the Habs finally get the The Golden Raspberry Award....Go back to soccer.....Acting like you can dive through ice.

Then the shoulder to shoulder to end the period...It's taken 4.5 games but I've finally lost respect for the habs....Well, you can say it went from liking them to fuck them.

You can make a reel of 3-4 guys from any team and their dives, head snaps, etc.

No team dives more than any other team. It's all about the same.

Rangers have taken a shit load of penalties this series and deserve most of them and more. Boston hits; Rangers use a lot of stick work.

John Moore suspended 2 games just now; Dorsett should get one too for headbutting at the end of yesterday's game.

Price practiced for a 3rd straight day - so he'll be ready for the finals. :D

Gotta give props to the Rangers. They played just about a perfect game. It was a well earned series win; I'll be cheering for them in the Finals. St-Louis losing his mom, Dom Moore losing his wife last year, Vigneault wrongly losing his job in Vancouver, Henrik never going to a final, etc. A lot of good young players in Stepan, Kreider, Haglin, McDonagh, Staal, etc. Gotta like the Rangers.

Tokarski played his heart out and likely got himself a NHL paycheck for next year and beyond. I think the Habs just ran out of gas. They had a surprisingly good season and should be a contender for years to come. People should get use to Montreal/Boston division finals for a good while.

Let's go Ran-gers!

The Rangers will have to play better to beat either of the two west teams because the habs didn't play a good series or they're an average team, the Rangers made Tokarski look good.

Either way....The Rangers are in which is more shocking to me.

I'm just blowing smoke......

Hats off to the habs for knocking off Boston, seriously if that team played this series it might be different. After Price went down I thought it would be easy but it didn't take the fight out of the team.

If the Canucks don't improve their goaltending situation, then I expect to finish in a similar position that they did this season. Hey, maybe you'll get McDavid.

Huge shout out to the citizens of Montreal for not burning their city to the ground last night. I'm guessing they were all too busy blaming the refs,Kreider,Bettman or NBC to be bothered.

They cant blame the Ref's, I'm guessing the habs paid them well because they got their money worth in all the bad calls, diving, roughing, high stick....At least twice there was to many on the ice not called. Even in the last few minutes of last nights game there should have been a Rangers 5 on 3 but of course that wasn't called either....Most of these calls could have been seen from the moon. I've never seen a series where the call were so lopsided.
I live by the you win some you lose some, ref's are humans but in this series the Ref's were paid very well in Canadian dollars. The ref's were the habs MVP.

The citizens of Montreal and all NHL fans should go to the Boston harbor and dump all the Samuel Adams out and burn that city to the ground.

I praise the habs for beating Boston. I'd donate to their diving coach and paying off ref's fund.
