The defense yesterday played much better compared to last year.
The D-line got some pressure, pushed the 49ers O-line back occasionally and the MLB had a pretty good game.

Not saying the Dallas D is among the best buy maybe they will show a slight improvement over last year.

A lot of rust?!

Dude, he's in midseason form throwing boneheaded INTs and generally looking like a horrible QB to build your team around. He didn't look rusty to me, he looked like Romo.

You certainly are a lot more optimistic than I am - though secretly, I somehow still believe in my fucking Redskins. If they can learn how to actually get the ball to their best players, DeSean Jackson, Garcon, and Morris - who were all wasted yesterday - there might be a chance to turn this thing around.

So I guess I'm just as glutton for punishment as you are, Machado.

Wow. Over Harbaugh's objections I'm sure.

In a way I think it's fucked up. The NFL fucked up by giving him that ridiculous 2-game penalty, and now Rice pays the price? If they'd given him a sensible 8 or 10 game suspension in the first place this whole thing may have played out differently. As usual NFL management is covering its ass on the backs of the players. Just because we see the video now? We already KNOW he knocked her out, what's the difference. The video shows exactly what we thought it would, no better, no worse.

Preach on Levi.
The NFL offices are in full retreat mode. Goodell is probably in a bunker as we speak.

I think you are going soft on Rice. 8-10 games would still not be enough. MF deserved a 1 full season ban and that might have put some fools on notice.

Why do black athletes feel the need to viciously strike/punch a woman?

Similar incident happened earlier this year. A freshman college football player from Univ of Oklahoma punched a female. The school/head coach suspended him for 1 entire year.

Do you think it's over Harbaugh's objections? His brother stated ( concerning Ray McDonald ) SF will not tolerate domestic violence, so when the evidence comes out. I expect him to be cut too.

 at Jay Cutler getting all bitchy and petulant at the press conference about his full-on retard interception. "Well, you don't know what we're trying to do. You think you do, but you don't" This guy is such a punk-ass bitch. I'm gonna take a lot of pleasure watching this fucker FAIL yet again, like he always does. Say what you want about the Chiefs, I will too, they suck, but they don't have anyone approaching the douche-level of Cutler on their team. Aside from his sidekick Brandon Marshall, I'm sure the majority of his own team hates his guts too.

67% of the NFL is black. Why did a guy who is part of a race that is less than 1% of the NFL decide to kill people (not convicted yet, of course, but he's a douche from my home state and my NFL team)?

Harbaugh defended him as a "good kid" who just made some mistakes when the original 2-game ban was put down. We already know he knocked his wife unconcious and dragged her out of the elevator. Yeah it's worse actually seeing it but I don't see why this would suddenly be a shocking revelation for Harbaugh.

Laughable.. Mid season form.. And, looks like that? Please......

Romo has a game or two like this every season....It is known, it is what he is. But, in no way was yesterdays game the breaking point with him..

I don't understand the decision to put so much into his hands when Murray was peeling off yards like it was nothing. LOL. But, that's the Dallas Cowboys for ya. Some faggy pass first team now , instead of getting nasty and smashing teams in the mouth.

He definitely sucked yesterday no doubt.. He will bounce back. Doesn't matter. I ain't worried about Romo at all. I know what's to come. I just can't stand this FO any longer and coaching staff.

This team is going nowhere.

Even with the Niners completely unhealthy and unmanned on Defense. They took it to Dallas. Like every team does nowadays. Niners get the most out of all their players, even the scrubs... Witnessed that yesterday, that is coaching.. Something that Dallas doesn't have. And, hasn't had.

The glass is broken. Yeah, Dallas might come out one game and look like stompers, mashing through a team. Doesn't mean shit.

But, they are a disease, worse than smack and crack. I still found myself glued to the tv.. LOL.. Watching that embarrassment of a team play.. All the while asking myself " why in the fuck are you still watching this? " . LOL..

Did Ray Rice, John Harbaugh, Ozzie Newsome and Steve Bisciotti really believe they could hide the video and it would never come out? Harbaugh backed him that's a fact. It makes the press conference with Ray and his wife, even more laughable. She apologized for getting beat and set domestic violence back 60 years.

Before everybody buries Ray Rice for the video that just came out, in his defence it should be noted that there is no audio and it's obvious to me his wife has got a hearing problem.

How bout them Cowboys    it is damn near impossible to have the ball for 13 minutes and change in the 1st qtr and be down 21 to 3 but them boys found a way to do it.

I think Texas is going to be well represented in the bottom 5 this year in general, but this is going to be the breaking year for Dallas and Romo.

Rice's wife could have been charged with domestic violence right up until Ray decided his last name was Tyson. I mean what the hell your name is Ray Rice you want to hurt the woman then leave her. You're really mad at her leave her then fuck her best friend. Bet she dumps you as soon as your credit line runs out.

Now where is Utah with this weeks predictions.

Ray Rice's Wife Comes to Defense of 'the Man I Love'

The wife of disgraced Baltimore Ravens running back Ray Rice defended "the man I love" in an online post today and said Rice's football ban left her "feeling like I'm mourning the death of my closest friend."

Janay Rice, who was shown in a video released Monday getting knocked out by Rice in an Atlantic City elevator, posted the statement on Instagram the day after the Ravens terminated his contract and the NFL suspended him indefinitely.

"I woke up this morning feeling like I had a horrible nightmare, feeling like I'm mourning the death of my closest friend," she wrote.

She called the attention to their Feb. 15 fight in the Revel Casino Hotel "unwanted."

"To make us relive a moment in our lives that we regret everyday is a horrible thing. To take something away from the man I love that he has worked his a.. off for all his life just to gain ratings is horrific. THIS IS OUR LIFE!" she wrote.

The new video surfaced as the NFL defended itself today against allegations that it did not try to obtain the video of the punch from the Revel Casino Hotel.

Janay Rice, 26, said the stories about their fight and the ban on Rice, 27, playing NFL football left them hurt, embarrassed, alone and took "all happiness away."

"Just know we will continue to grow & show the world what real love is!" she wrote.

Rice's wife came to his defense as reports emerged of a longer and more detailed video of the elevator scene.

The longer video – reportedly shown to the Associated Press by a law enforcement official – reportedly shows Rice and Janay Palmer shouting obscenities at each other before the confrontation became violent. (Palmer later married Rice and changed her name to Janay Rice.)

At one point it appeared that Janay Rice spit in the face of the three-time Pro Bowl running back before he throws the punch that left the woman sprawled unconscious on the elevator floor. That video includes audio and shows a clearer picture than the grainy TMZ Sports video that was released Monday, according to the AP.

TMZ reported today that the NFL did not ask the hotel for the video. The Revel declined to comment on whether the league had asked for the video, but said it had given it to the police, prosecutors and Rice's attorney.

The NFL responded today saying, "Security for Atlantic City casinos is handled by the New Jersey State Police. ny videos related to an ongoing criminal investigation are held in the custody of the state police. As we said yesterday: We requested from law enforcement any and all information about the incident, including the video from inside the elevator. That video was not made available to us."

The New Jersey State Police said today the investigation was handled by the Atlantic City police. "We never had the video," the state police said.

The Atlantic City police have not responded to requests for comment. The prosecutor in the case declined to discuss the case on Monday.

I'm looking forward to this game Sunday. I really think the Lions will destroy the Panthers. If the Lions win this game it will shut people up a bit. I know you guys are in a similar situation and want to prove that last years success is legit.

This lady is damaged. Or very possible she is being forced to make these statements against her own will.
Nobody took away his living. Ray Rice took his living away with his disgusting actions and domestic abuse.
Ray Rice is a pro athlete. His body is built to take abuse. There is no slap or punch that lady could have given him to do any sort of damage to Ray Rice.

Domestic Violence in the NFL

Amazing!!!

If the video was not made public, Ray Rice would be prepping his return
to the NFL right about now.

Regardless of whether or not his wife(victim) is showing her support for
Ray Rice, the guy needs to go and never allowed to return.

If the NFL wants to be serious about "domestic violence" then someone has to be the poster boy and why not Ray Rice

So Machado, are you saying Romo choked this game?

You're both right, Manchowder blindly makes excuses every year and Romo is making 108 million, $55 million guaranteed off Silver Platters.

Awesome.
Anyone read Ray Lewis's long rant about how him and Ray Rice. Lewis taking Rice under his wings, teaching him how to stay out of trouble, talked about how Lewis's mother was abused and how no man should ever put his hands on a woman then Lewis deflected host Suzy Kolber’s question about how the Ravens’ treatment of Rice compared with their approach to Lewis during his 2000 murder trial, which resulted in him pleading guilty to obstruction of justice. I like Ray Lewis, loved his play on the field....But fuck his preaching, Lewis has blood on his hands even tho he straightened up and turned white.
Lewis said that he had been in contact with Rice via text message Monday and plans to see him when he returns to Baltimore this week, promising that he’s going home “to be the same mentor I was the first time he walked through the door.”

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Josh Gordon will reportedly spend the NFL season working as a car salesman.

The idea of a Pro Bowl receiver waiting out his suspension by selling cars just an hour away from his team’s facility seems like a sitcom plot. But for a guy who needs to feel part of something more than anything right now, it could be a nice way to spend his time. He’ll get to interact with people regularly and hopefully find support from fans who want him to know they’ve got his back and want to see him on the field this time next season.
And he’ll probably be able to get a nice employee discount on a 2015 Ford Fusion, so he’s got that going for him too.

That's fucking sickening. Tweet's from players around the league about Rice.

Terrance Knighton, Denver Broncos - That man should be thrown out the the nfl and thrown into jail. Shame on those deciding his punishment. Smh

LeCharles Bentley, Former NFL center - Ray Rice, at a loss for words. If anybody believes that's the FIRST time he's hit a woman, I got an ocean in AZ I'd like to sell you #Coward

Chris Harris, Denver Broncos - The NFL should have zero tolerance for domestic violence. There is never a reason for any man to be violent towards any woman.

Brady Quinn - Am I the only one who believes it should be a lifetime ban for the first time a player commits domestic violence? They should be done period.

London Fletcher - @nflcommish to say you got that wrong is an understatement. Very disappointed in you. Wow...unbelievable.
