The 2014 Titans and Rams aren't exactly the 99 Rams or 07 Patriots in terms of offense but Machoado is making them out to be the second coming of the 85 Bears or 00 Ravens.

When Dallas runs into a real offense they will get lit up like a pinball machine.

Whistle to whistle......If you're not looking to give or take a hit your gonna get blasted. I'm still amazed players get a free shot in the pro's.

I'm all for protecting from headhunting but the defenders have no chance with the way the rules are and how they are throwing flags on everything. If it's going to be like this just put the quarterback in a red no contact jersey like they do in practice.

ROMO, tied for first in INT's
QBR 23rd
Yards 19th
TD's 12th
PCT% 12th

Rams Austin Davis made his 2nd career start and has more yards, better rating, better completion rating, one less TD and plays for the lowly rams.

Kirk Cousins has more yards, TD's and a lot better rating.

Dallas D continues to exceed expectations.
And Murray 3rd consecutive game with a fumble. One returned for a TD.

Dallas D exceed Expectations? 31 points and 448 yards to the Rams? Against a QB who's started 2 games, played in 3? They've played the lowly Titans and the Rams and their D is hovering around bottom half and that's exceeding? You must expect them to finish dead last.

Dallas D giving up....
Points - 18th 23 points a game
Total yds - 21st 360 yards a game
Passing yds - 21st 250 yards a game
Rusing yds - 15th 110yards a game

If you put this much effort into that 1st date you wrote about on the Lounge, you might have had a 2nd set with that person.

Of all the stats you wrote, I love the defensive statistics.
Because it shows the Dallas D to date is not the worst in the league
As projected it would be.

A win is a win. Whether a team wins by 1 point or 50 points. Does winning a close game take away from the win?

Red Jersey and a dress. That was a beautiful shot by Chris Baker. It's annoying that after every tackle there's a "that will be reviewed by the league office" then they replay it 5 times.

Still boggles the mind, guys that have played most of their life lallygag on returns especially QB's and kickers who everyone on the field is looking to blast. After 20 years of Whistle to Whistle they don't seem to get it.

Vikings place Matt Cassel on IR, it's Teddy Bridgewater's team now.

Cousins says 'this is still Robert Griffin III's team.

McCown will try to play, Glennon likely to start.

Tomlinson: I'd take Le'Veon Bell over any RB

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl

Not sure how long RGknee is out but if Cousins keeps playing the way he does I'm not sure how long that statement will be valid.

Even Gruden said "Stranger things have happened" when asked if it's possible KC starts from here on out.

Shanahan would have delivered some stupifying word salad so this is a nice change.

10 Best NFL Teams That Failed to Win the Super Bowl

http://www.therichest.com/sports/footba ... uper-bowl/

#10 1983 Washington Redskins - Super Bowl XVIII "Black Sunday"

They were, at the time, the highest scoring offense in NFL history, with 541 points scored during the 1983 season. They seemed to be light years ahead of where they were in 1982, and that was a Super Bowl team. They set an NFL record for turnover differential with +43. They had Joe Gibbs as coach, Joe Theismann at quarterback, John Riggins at fullback, and a rookie by the name of Darrell Green in the secondary.

In fact that season, Riggins set a record that would last 12 years in the NFL, scoring 24 rushing touchdowns, to go with 1,483 yards. Washington’s offensive players won just about every award there was to win that season.

Their defense wasn’t too far behind. They allowed the fewest rushing yards, Dave Butz recorded 11.5 sacks, Dexter Manley had 11, and Mark Murphy picked off 11 passes.

They dominated the NFC East, finishing 14-2, with nine straight wins to finish the year. They overshadowed the 12-4 Cowboys and the rest of the division gave them no trouble. Their only two losses were a 31-30 defeat on opening day to Dallas and a 48-47 loss in Green Bay. Only a two-point difference in their two losses combined!

They blew away the Rams in the divisional round, 51-7 before winning a closer affair, 24-21 over San Francisco.

They were in control in the Super Bowl, taking on the L.A. Raiders, whom they had beaten in Week 5 earlier in the year.

They were then dominated by the Raiders in every aspect of the game, as L.A. scored an offensive, defensive and special teams touchdown in a 38-9 blowout. Theismann was sacked six times and intercepted twice. A great season ended very badly for the 1983 Redskins.

SB MVP Marcus Allen 191 yards rushing then a SB record and 2TD's

Joe Theismann won the season MVP and was the second rated passer in the league behind Steve Bartkowski.
John Riggins in the season ran for 1,347 yards, and set a then-NFL record 24 rushing touchdowns.
the Redskins set new NFL records with 541 points

Also, the Redskins had defeated the Raiders during an October 2 regular season game, 37–35, by scoring 17 points in the final six minutes of the game.

Second one for me. I became a Skins fan the season they won Super Bowl XVII. As a kid I had no concept that my team could lose the super bowl so the Raider destruction kicked my six year old ass.

if it's any consolation Darrell Green and Art Monk are two of my all time favorites.

I type that just as Eli tosses a TD thanks to a sack, fumble recovery in the red. DOH. Lot of game left. Coz tossed a beautiful pass and the fucking WR pulled up like the play was over, had the CB burned, would have probably still be running.....Who's that WR, I want his name.

Good D, when's RGknee coming back? Still say Coz made a beautiful pass for a TD but the WR stopped his route like the play was over.

Just when I talk shit about Eli, he has a good game, talk about jekyll and hyde. The Giants have to be one of the most unpredictable teams.

Shocked by the final score. 1st road team this season to win on Thurs night.

Cousins played like RGIII. Every INT was among the worst throws of the year.
Manning scares the shit out of me. Giants have been known to get hot. This team is capable of winning 8 in a row.

This is nothing new.

In 2006 Snyder was busted selling expired bankrupt airline peanuts.
----
What Snyder was selling to fans at FedExField. During the 2006 season, vendors offered shelled nuts in royal blue and white 5 oz. bags adorned with the Independence Air logo. Problem: The airline had gone under about a year earlier. The supplier told Washington City Paper that it stopped shipping the airline’s nuts “before Independence Air went out of business.” A spokesman for the Peanut Council told City Paper that to prevent rancidity, the recommended shelf life of a foil bag of out-of-shell peanuts was “about three months.”

He supposedly stays away because Levi is too mean to him. Levi does seem to need a target, but Machado practically begs for Levi to mess with him. And it's not like NS has ever missed an opportunity to insult someone when the Vikings beat their team.
