Foles back by the playoffs or is it over?
Add 4 turnovers and 2 Sanchez sacks and they was still in the game. Stats don't always tell the truth. I knew the Eagles was going to lose this one but it should have been a slaughter. Dallas sticking to the run even tho Murray was stuffed all night was something I didn't think I'd see.
It was a great win for Dallas, Romo played at his best, the O line did their job, the D held up when they had too putting pressure all night long, Dez with all his great talent had a wonderful game, Murray ran tough and the play calling was right on.

But being Dallas, been saying it for months and as most already know, they always blow it after Thanksgiving turning the last one or two games into the Choke Bowl for the playoffs.
RGIII did go 3/4 today. Pretty good percentage! Something to build on! Not sure how bad McCoy injury is or if he came back but I'd like to see RG put in the position to finish out the year.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was dead serious. I bet Dallas would take this one and I hope RGIII plays out the season. The young RG showed great talent, got injured, came back and got blasted.....It set back RG physically and mentally then pile that onto the Skins Line breakdown with little running game and you've got a blown season. Then they put the blame all on RG? Fuck that.
Unless he's injured....
You don't want RG to finish the season on the bench, his confidence is already shot this gives him a chance to take his lumps and grow a set, the fucking coach not showing support don't help either.
It can take a player two years to come back from a knee injury with RGIII he's also dealing with maturity.
Keep him in there, let him finish, stand by him and I bet he gains from it. Bench him and kick him in the gut he may never be worth the shit.
I don't think we've heard the last of RG, I bet he stay's in Washington and will be a better QB....If the system does the obvious, patches up the line and put's together a resemblance of a running game. They do that and they'll have a decent team.

"Jon Gruden won’t happen; focus expected to be on Jim Harbaugh"
It was a longshot anyway, but it became official Monday when ESPN announced that Gruden has signed a contract extension to be an analyst on “Monday Night Football” through 2021. Thus, Gruden remains in the TV booth and won’t return to the sideline.
When Oakland fired coach Dennis Allen in September, the Gruden alert once again sounded. Oakland owner Mark Davis was asked about Gruden at the press conference to announce Allen’s firing, and Davis said perhaps he’d call Gruden or perhaps Gruden would call him.

Speaking of the Bears I totally missed this Cutler's hissy fit as he walked to the line...What the fuck is all I can say about this clip. What they said, ROCK BOTTOM.
Tonight, we reached Peak Jay Cutler
Tonight, in front of a national television audience during Monday Night Football, we achieved something we didn’t think possible: we reached Peak Jay Cutler. At halftime, Cutler’s QB rating was 14.1. FOURTEEN POINT ONE. He slung the ball around to the tune of multiple interceptions and made the Saints, themselves a tire fire this season, look like a Super Bowl contender. And during a play in tonight’s game, as Cutler approached the line pre-snap, trying to call signals, we got there, we had the most Cutler moment that ever Cutlered as Smokin’ Jay exclaimed to his line and everyone, “Dammit.”
Cutlers breakdown clip.....

Then top it of with a great Cutler I don't give a fuck press conference.

When is the last time the Bears finished last in the division? Maybe Cutler can go play for the Eagles I mean he has to be better than Sanchez right.

The Bears or Redskins. What is worse signing a shit QB to a new contract when you know for a fact he is shit with a bad attitude. Or pissing away draft picks on a Ryan Leaf?

Some clubs are just meant to suck and I think that's where the Jets and the Browns come in.
Cleveland had one last chance to still be in the playoff hunt and they chose to go with a rookie QB who hadn't started a game and looked bad in the preseason.
They'll never be any good it seems like because of the decisions they make. Ever since they came back to the league they haven't been worth a shit.

I honestly couldn't believe after the Browns clawed and fought their way all season to be in the hunt, they went to the bench to the over hyped rook during the biggest game of the year. Good Games.
BURN IT! SEND IT TO HELL! Award: Johnny Manziel – Cleveland Browns
Ok, it was just one game, and the Browns were only on the field were 38 offensive plays, so we should probably wait for more a sample size before we turn things into an epic hot-takegasm about how Johnny Fraudball just doesn’t what it takes to make it in the NATIONAL FOOTBALL LEAGUE, but still, he really fucking sucked pretty bad yesterday. I mean, I’ve seen rookie quarterbacks sucks before, but he was suckiest bunch of suck that ever sucked. If your performance evokes thoughts of “Y’know, Brandon Weeden wasn’t that bad,” you may want to rethink your strategy for Game #2.

Dan Hampton wants to waterboard the Bears’ defensive coordinator

Dan Hampton is a former player for the Chicago Bears. Dan Hampton was really good when he played for the Bears. Dan Hampton is, therefore, in the Hall of Fame. Dan Hampton is also one of the many windbag former players who get regular air time. Dan Hampton took the opportunity on Sunday night to say something very dumb.
Everyone knows the 2014 Chicago Bears are a tear-soaked shitstorm and Dan Hampton tore into the Bears and their coaches during last night’s airing of “Sports Sunday” on NBC 5 in Chicago. Perhaps the dumbest of the dumb things he said was the suggestion that Bears DC Mel Tucker – and/or other coaches – should be waterboarded.

Last night during the ESPN postgame show on the field, Ray Lewis went out of his way
to criticize the Bears oganization and Cutler.
Lewis went on a rant that lasted for several minutes and none of his partners at ESPN stopped him because Ray was 100% correct.
Who within the Bears organization looked at Cutler and felt like he was the type of QB that could lead the franchise to success? Who within the front office had the idea to give Cutler all those tens of millions of dollars?
His rant was quickly followed by Steve Young. He stated for the record that Cutler has poor footwork and his footwork has been poor for about 7 yrs.
If true, and only Bears fans here can say, the Bears deserve all the criticism for pretending to have a starting NFL QB on the field.

I remember another poster who used to do that constantly with Colts stories. That guy couldn't help but get owned all the time just by his words alone. The similarties between the two bring on a lot of laughs.

Re: The NFL Thread
Speaking even more of the Bears, why would they hire Jimmy Clausen?, even as a back-up QB. There must be a major shortage of QB's in the NFL if that hack is getting a second chance. I still don't know why Carolina let him shit the bed for the entire 2010 season. Not only does he suck, but he seems like a total prick.

Jan 2 2014,
31yo Jay Cutler signed a 7 year / $126.70 million contract with the Chicago Bears, including $54,000,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $18,100,000.
Dec 16 2014,
The Bears have announced that Jimmy Clausen will start......

Think Cutlerfuck is bad now what would he do without Jeffery, Marshall, Bennett and Forte. From RB, TE and WR core that's some of the best hands on the field.
And the Bear's give the soon to be 32 year old a 7 year / $126.70 million contract after 5 years of evaluation? Cutler may suck but the organization should get firebombed.
And I thought Brown fans were pissed this week.
At least Detroit is hanging in there for the battle of the great lakes.

yeah, that was a ridiculous deal -- and everyone in Chicago knew it when it was announced. I have no fucking idea what management was thinking -- the Cutler ticket bump happened when they first obtained him, but by Jan. 2014, no one was sold on him as the man of the future.UtahRatt wrote:
