Noticed that, it's goofy and speaking of scheduling....I'm starting to dislike it. The NFL Network coverage sucks for starters. Not in favor of the early Monday Night kickoffs or the double header Monday Night openers and I especially hate Thursday Night games.

The international games, all the ones I've watch were underwhelming with the atmosphere of a poorly covered preseason game. I did catch one in Mexico a long time ago that was kind of crazy.

The Saturday playoffs are great but what I want to see is both local channels play one early and one midday game each on Sunday. Other wise I'm forced to watch Denver, go online to catch something else or take off.

Yeah they did that with the Lions/Falcons game for this season and it actually was fun to watch that early on a Sunday morning and the game came down to the final seconds which always make for entertaining football.

I'm surprised with machado, between the Calvin Johnson rule and now this. I'm begining to think perhaps he's not as knowledgeable as he's been wanting us to believe.

Dez bobbled the ball all the way to the ground till it popped out. There was less then a second of possession and that was in one hand right before he hit the turf. One hell of an effort but better catches have been over turned. If it wasn't a season ending playoff, there would be no talk about it.
Sorry Ratt. One place you are mistakened is that Dez "bobbled" the ball all the way to the ground. Just not true man. I have no problem with the catch not being a catch. But, get it right man. Only time that ball was "bobbled" was when he hit the ground. And, By the "rule", incomplete.

Guess really it doesn't matter if it was bobbled all the way through or not. LOL. Still, no catch, according to the rule.

And, unlike Machado... I do have a problem with the Detroit deal the week before.

The main reason is because the call of Defensive holding should of been called..

And, the other reason? I knew it would come back and bite Dallas in the ass. LOL..

My take on the Dez Bryant play:

1. By the letter of the rules, it's an incomplete pass.

2. It's a shitty rule.

That being said, if the Cowboys punched it in on the next couple of plays, there was still plenty of time for Rodgers to drive down the field.

agreed I think he had possession of the ball long enough before he went to the ground where they could of at least called him down at the spot he lunged then again it's been awhile since I saw the play. but like Utah says I've seen worse calls dating back to the chris chamber days in mia. it pisses you off but I also get pissed when when someone playing my fav team gets screwed, refs should be fined for every single bad call, naybe they'll start doing their job right when they're checks get smaller.

Agree with this.. All of this..

Dallas's defense wasn't stopping shit in the second half. Rodgers was in a groove and I can't believe Dallas couldn't muster any type of pass rush then, or, through the whole game.lol. That's one of the biggest reasons why Dallas lost, Green Bay won.. You have Rodgers not being able to scramble, injured and Dallas's D still can't get to him. LOL..

Waiting for the haters to thread jack and talk about how the catch was not a catch, that Romo choked, etc....That fucking blow hards act like they get paid per every word typed.

Anyway, the D Line was the weakness. Team has to upgrade at that position. At the same time Rodgers in the shotgun & no huddle was a great scheme to offset the calf injury.
Dallas did get to him several times and did put some pressure on him early in the game, but Rodgers and that calf were feeling better as the game went on. The injury was far less significant late in the game.

Dallas's inability on defense to stop the Packers and rush Rodgers into throws, as well as not making him uncomfortable in the pocket was a myth in the second half. Green Bay adjusted well. Good on em'.

Teryl Austin (Defensive coordinator for the Lions) has a second interview with the Falcons, I'm starting to get nervous. I guess there is always Schwartz, but then that guarantees Suh leaves since from what I've read he doesn't like him.

Redskins have hired Bill Callahan away from the Cowboys as Offensive Line Coach. Apparently Jerry Jones wasn't willing to give him a raise.

Nice work! Wrapping a bow on yet another offseason championship!

Heard a report on the radio today that John Fox is very close to
becoming the next Bears head coach. Fine but what about the QB position?
Bears could re-hire George Halas but Cuter still is a below average QB.

Bill must really need the $$ because nobody needs the aggrevation the Skins organization can cause.

Bill did a great job in Dallas with the young O-Line. Bill obviously convinced Snyder he doubles a miracle worker

Win one fucking NFC East championship and look who thinks he's a fan of the 1970s Steelers.

Cowboys ain't won shit in decades, and Jerry Jones is a joke owner second only to Snyder. So don't puff your chest out too much Machado-Nitt.

Or Machado-Gritt? I'm still trying to figure that one out.

Anyway I'm sure you are thrilled to lose the guy who coached up that awesome Dallas line. I'm pretty happy with the hire myself, he replaced some nobody idiot crony of Gruden.

Jay Gruden will be gone a year from now, glad they are laying the groundwork for some quality coaching. Hoping Vic Fangio is next.

If Fox has his way, Cutler won't throw the ball more than 20 times a game.

Matt Forte better rest up this offseason.

Fox managed to win a playoff game with Tim fucking Tebow so he may just be the right fit for Chi town and their fucked up QB situation.

Yes the Skins are down. They have been for a long time. But their last super bowl win and the Cowboys last super bowl win are only four years apart. That's not that long but Dallas fans are talking like they've been a powerhouse lately.

Does lately mean this past season? If yes, then the 12-4 record & 1 playoff win is something to boast about.

Seriously dude, it's one season. The Skins went 10-6 and won the division two years ago and now they're right back to the shitter. One year does not make a dynasty but to hear you talk one would think the Cowboys just went on a New England type run of 11 in 12 years.

But,,, even if Dallas sucks ass next year, possibility is huge.

I will still bag on the rest of the NFCE , especially the redskins all day long. LOL

Cowboys fans talk more shit then any other base, every year is their year. During all the 8-8 season you'd think they'd have a shot to win the SB all the way into December.

Their motto really is: This is our year, This is our last chance....So they won a one team division race, someone had to win. It's like bragging the Panthers won theirs. They won a playoff game where the Head Office said the Ref's fucked up but you don't hear them talking about that. All they talk about is getting robbed when they should be asking themselves, a BOMB on a 4th and 2?

The 4th and 2 Hail Mary!
Dez bobbled it.....Dez got two hands on the ball for a split second before for Shields fingers it away, Dez bobbles it back to his chest, then bobbles to his left hand as he grabs it before hitting the ground where it pops out. That's not control.
Dez had possession in his left hand as he was in the air going to the ground, that's not controlling the ball either.
Shields is the hero, if he doesn't get a finger on the ball Dez makes the catch. Shields should get major props, he was all over Dez from the snap all the way to the in-completion. Dez was shutdown all day long.

This play wouldn't be talked about if it wasn't a Dallas Hail Mary season ender. It's just another Dallas excuse that wouldn't be a factor if ROMO went for the 1st down like anyone with a brain would. You don't hear this much noise over the Detroit game and they totally got ROBBED and the REF's admitted to it.

Oh well, Romo made the wrong decision and bad throw again, season over.

Packers @ Hawks
Colts @ Patriots

Hawks vs Patriots is the best match up that doesn't sound exciting.
Packers vs Colts could be a 42 to 38 in the making.

I'm feeling Pats and Hawks. As much as I'd like to see Brady win his fourth I'm not sure that Seattle can be stopped. Their defense is giving up 8 points a game over their last five or six games. That's just insane in today's NFL.

The New England teams of SB past maybe but hard to imagine it happening now. They're going to need some special teams and turn over help.
I do expect Brady to put up more of a fight then Manning did last year.

Then it was mentioned Bill was beefing up a secondary after last seasons playoff loss to Denver now they get to face Lynch and a monster D on a Seattle team with little to no passing attack. Good Luck.
