Re: The NFL Thread
In two weeks if Seattle plays like they did today, and the Pats play like they played today, its going to be a blowout.
I actually think its gonna be a tight close game.

There were two defenders in the area, one totally gave up on the play the other was half way walking with his cover guy. Any effort and it's easily blocked. It's like he figured RUSS was contained or going down but in either case the dumbass was walking across the endzone like the play was over not even paying attention.
Like I said above the announcers said it best, something like "I don't know what that defender was thinking"
Not to take away from the Hawks because their WR didn't give up, Russ didn't give up, they made it happen.

Seahawks' play today actually gives me hope that the Patriots can pull it off.
Patriots played nearly flawlessly and the Seahawks are EXTREMELY lucky to even be going to the superbowl.
Should be a good superbowl ..... then again, I thought the same thing last year.

Re: The NFL Thread
Well I guess I read it wrong and that's the only way that makes sense so I fucked up.
From the 2nd half to the end of the game I got stuck over at my sister's house for my nephews birthday.
Why in the hell would you schedule something like that?
They had the game on so I could half way keep up with it but the way they watch TV drives me nuts. They have the volume low enough that you can't make out what their saying but loud enough that you can hear them talking. I swear that shit drives me crazy.
Makes me almost want to pay for that NFL mobile service for smart phones but there's not enough times that I'd use it to make it worth while.

As much as I hate the Roidhawks, what they did today was impressive.
I feel that Brady is the closest thing to Montana we've seen and he should pick Paul Allen's favorite toy apart.

As good as the Pats looked today I just can't imagine the Seahawks letting themselves get run over like this. I bet it will be a good game.

As good as Seattle's comeback was today, I just can't imagine New England failing to capitalise on turnovers or hang on to their lead n the 4th.Crazy Levi wrote:As good as the Pats looked today I just can't imagine the Seahawks letting themselves get run over like this. But yeah, this game has the makings of a classic.

As happy as I am the Seattle did it again, I am almost as happy I don't have to watch Green Bay vs New England the sequel. Seattle won last time the two teams faced in 2012 and Arizona should favor Seattle, but Brady's popularity transcends regions.sin wrote:Lions, Cardinals, Ravens, Colts. Sherman fucked with Brady through twitter after. Big mistake, don't piss Brady off and give Belichick motivational speeches. Sherman will give Belichick plenty of material in the next two weeks as well.sin wrote: As happy as I am the Seattle did it again, I am almost as happy I don't have to watch Green Bay vs New England the sequel. Re: The NFL Thread
Oh fuck, NE fans brace yourself for more hate.
NFL Probing NE for Deflating Balls
Shortly after their 45-7 win over the Indianapolis Colts in the AFC Championship Sunday, the New England Patriots are reportedly set to be investigated by the NFL for the use of deflated footballs during the game.
TV's Bob reported the details, noting the Pats are at risk of losing draft picks if they are found guilty of the accusations:
Breaking: A league source tells me the NFL is investigating the possibility the Patriots deflated footballs Sunday night. More to come.
— Bob Kravitz (@bkravitz) January 19, 2015
I'm told at one point the officials took a ball out of play and weighed it. Should hear more tomorrow on this subject.
— Bob Kravitz (@bkravitz) January 19, 2015
Told if a league investigation confirms deflated footballs it will result in lost draft picks. Stay tuned.
— Bob Kravitz (@bkravitz) January 19, 2015
Deflated footballs or not, the Patriots were the better team Sunday, the Colts by nearly 200 yards and dominating both sides of the ball for the majority of the game. It would be a huge stretch to suggest the final score was a product of a football that may have weighed slightly less than usual.
put it simply:
Nobody is suggesting this is why the colts lost obviously. They were manhandled.
— Bob Kravitz (@bkravitz) January 19, 2015
Still, this is an interesting story. The Patriots, of course, were at the center of the 2007 videotaping controversy—also known as Spygate—in which they were found to be videotaping New York Jets' coaches' signals from the sideline. Bill Belichickwas fined $500,000 for that incident, while the team lost its first-round draft pick.
More than anything, with two weeks until the Super Bowl and media attention significantly increased, the Patriots will be hoping this doesn't serve as a distraction before the most important game of the season.

Re: The NFL Thread
How will they explain the fact that N.E.'s defense had just as much of an easy time handling the footballs Indy's offense brought out when they had the ball?

You didn't answer my questions. Please, tell me who the Broncos beat in the AFC Championship last year. Then, if you'd be so kind, tell me the score of the Superbowl.
And the bonus question is still open: how many times has Brady beat Wilson?
Simple questions with simple answers, really.

I don't think NE has beaten the Roidhawks yet, I do however think they will in the SB.
