I'm in.
Can I suggest this year hat once numbers are sorted we have a playoffs that is half of less of the league. 8/12 doesn't really reward a good season. 6/12 with a first round bye for the top two teams is cooler/more realistic IMO.

Looking for 3 more teams. PM me if you are interested in playing. The one thing that we ask is that you keep up with your team the whole season.

I think I've got a non-sludger who might be interested if you get stuck for somebody (Crimson Haybailers who have been in the league a few years were my last recruits).

Re: Sludge Fantasy Baseball 2015
When are we setting the draft to run?
We need a couple if weeks for waiver acquisitions and trades.
Last I checked we needed one more player for an even number of teams - but 3 more would be ideal.
Let's pick a date so we know when to do our pre-rankings by.

Re: Sludge Fantasy Baseball 2015
I'll set the draft to run as soon as we get a 12th player. I will probably set it to run 1 week before the start of the season. That should allow enough time to make any moves and avoid most spring training injuries.
Any changes suggested beside the amount of teams going into the playoffs?

Re: Sludge Fantasy Baseball 2015
Is the draft set to run? On the mobile app it says "draft not scheduled". Not sure if that's because it's an Auto-Pick draft, or because it's not set to draft yet.
Let's get this done. I want to meet this year's Canuckle Balls!

I set it to run last night. It can take up to 72 hours before it actually drafts. Better set your pre-rankings before it runs.

Re: Sludge Fantasy Baseball 2015
Draft ran last night.
I have some GM work to do before I'm happy with my Canuckle Balls.
Right off the bat, I'm too deep at 1B (Abreu, Adrian Gonzalez, Duda). If someone doesn't have a viable option at 1B, I'd consider trading any one of them. Looking for a quality SP, maybe an OF, or a guy who can play multiple positions productively.

Re: Sludge Fantasy Baseball 2015
This year in both the leagues I play in I switched getting King Felix for Miguel Cabrera. This better fucking work. I'm also expecting both Matt Cain and Tim Lincecum to have bounce back seasons ( Lincecum not a Cy Young contender though ). Also Brandon Belt is supposed to become another Will Clark. That better happen too. Goddamnit.
You're going down, PKOS.
If I can defeat the Mighty PKOS I'm going to next set my sights on WOLF.

I might be down for some trades later. I wanna see how my team performs first. I decided to draft differently this year since how I previously always have has failed horribly ( shut up, PKOS! ).WOLF wrote:Draft ran last night.

While they would fit nicely in my lineup with Bautista and Encarnacion, there are some practical problems I'd have to overcome.WOLF wrote:NOBODY wants a productive bat like Adrian Gonzalez or Lucas Duda. WTF people? Don't be a pussy, let's wheel and deal!
