All the action last night in the East and nothing really changed. Pittsburg better be careful, not time to go into a prolonged slump.

I'll be watching the MASSIVE Detroit vs Washington game. The Blues was sputtering till the Stars and Flames helped them recover. The Hawks have been playing well, should be a good game but I expect the Hawks to win.

The fight is the stretch battle with the Jet's, Kings and Flames.....I want the Flames to make it but everyone knows The King's will be scary team once they're in.

The Pen's slipping....Dam. Being a Ranger fan I wouldn't mind seeing them slip down to #2, the B's could give anyone a fight right now.

Tampa vs Ducks

Pen's and Redwings both lose today launching the B's into 3rd in the Atlantic. Meaning the Rangers would take on Detroit in the first round setting up Tampa vs Boston.

I really wanted the B's to miss the playoffs but Tampa and Boston would be a great first round match.

Chicago would Play the Blues if it started today, funny part is they're playing right now then finish the season with them on Saturday. Talk about beating each other up just to face in the playoffs.

There's a lot of shuffling going on, this last week should be great.

What makes you think the Ducks will get anywhere near the SCF? Does everyone forget that their coach has NEVER made it out of the 2nd round? not to mention, they have question marks in goal....AGAIN....just like last year. Why should this be any different?

Vegas seems to be a done deal for 2016 with 11K in season ticket deposits.

Washington and Chicago in the finals.

Rangers 4 Jackets 3

Derek Stepan scores with 25 seconds left in regulation to tie, then scores with 50 seconds left in OT to win.

What a game.

Shame the Jackets didn't make their run a month ago that's a tough team when they're all on the ice.

Vegas has a good chance to be a profitable team for an owner/group, I was hoping for a Seattle or North Western team but Vegas will be interesting. I heard it once said they'd never attain a professional sports team because of the gambling. On a smaller note Vegas could also help travel schedules pairing northern teams with AZ/Dallas on southern trips.

I mean Dino Ciccarelli, I mean Claude Lemieux, I mean buttfuglien.

Both the West and the East have turned into a great race to the finish, could come down to the last game in both.

Kings lose to the Oilers while the Flames beat Arizona setting up what could be the decider on Thursday, Flames vs Kings.

Fucking Jet's win again, their last two vs the Av's and Flames. Could be another decider.

Pen's can't buy a win, up 3 and still lose in to Ottawa in OT.

Rangers lock up the President Trophy for the 3rd time with the last time they won the Stanley, also the second time they've won 52. I sill wouldn't want to face the B's but like Tampa and Montreal in the East if not NYR.

I'd also like to see Ottawa slide in. They've had a hell of a run.

Yeah, I think Vegas is going to work. Plus you get the travel attraction for the hardcore fans. Quebec City and Seattle are just a matter of time. Carolina/Florida/Arizona would all be better suited elsewhere based on attendance.

Florida is a sales embarrassment. It's a gate driven league and they have no gate and look at how gate revenue increased with the Thrashers move to Winnipeg even though it's a small arena comparatively. It is what it is. Carolina might be better off in Hartford at this point. The youth movement in CT has increased since the Whalers were in town. Tampa and Nashville aside, the "sunbelt" expansion hasn't cut the mustard.

That might wrap it up for Julien and Chiarelli. Great run. Give Babcock control over the operation.

LA Kings will not be able to defend their cup. I guess the regular season does matter!

I bet St.Louis, Anaheim etc are briefing a sign of relief.

Flames clinch, eliminate Kings! Bu Bye!

KINGS ARE OUT! So much for that dynasty they couldn't stop talking about last season. Who would have thunk at the first of the year the Flames would make the playoffs by spanking the KINGS.

Now that it's out, not sure what happened to LA, I've been a distant fan for a long time up till last year dealing with their fans and the overkill media but they sure shit the bed. Win the cup, choke the next.
After losing to the Oilers on Tuesday they was finished before the night started.

Hats off to the Calgary, go Flames!

Please, Bruins, don't even show up for the last game. (not that you've shown up for any games lately) and give yourselves that miniscule chance at the #1 pick.
Goodbye and thanks Julien and Chiarelli.
FO, please hire a coach that plays and doesn't break up lines that actually score especially since you can't win a game 0-0. The coach must also not be afraid to play rookies that, although having defensive liabilities, can more than make up for that by actually scoring.
Also, when your fourth line goes 0 for March, please make sure you're not giving them top 6 minutes while previously mentioned rookies sit on the bench.
As far as the next GM, please make sure he won't give ridiculous extensions to players that suck thus putting the team in cap and performance jail.
Saying goodbye to Kelly, Campbell, Paille, and Bartkowski who all fit into that "suck" category would be a great start.
kthx

Pens are shitting the bed, so B's can still get in and then, who knows? Remember when the Kings eked into 8th on the last day of the season?

Having said that, Julien does have WAY to much of a man crush on his plumbers, and Chiarelli has mismanaged the cap and held onto assets too long. He also hardly ever seems to win a trade anymore.

Prediction: Chiarelli replaces Bryan Murray in Ottawa. Julien takes a year off, then resurfaces. Maybe the Shero/Bylsma tandem recreates themselves in Beantown. Or do they dare hire Tortorella to get some fire back in their game!

Win the cup, then shit the bed? This team has made the playoffs 5 straight years, been to the WC final 3 straight years and have won the cup 2 out of the 3 past years. They've played in 11 playoff series over the past three years and have played more games than any other team in the league...basically playing 4 seasons in 3 years. But they shit the bed, huh? Fuck off.

I like the King's and I'm just fucking with you. Payback time....
Mostly because and all the shit they talked during last years cup and before the season only to choke down the stretch to the lowly 30th place Sabers. And because your beloved group is one of the teams to win the cup then fail to make the playoffs the next season. I don't care what happened before, where are they now, home watching the Flames and Jet's in the playoffs.
Poetic justice.

The B's on the outside needing help? If Ottawa gets in this will be the most Canadian teams I've seen in the playoffs in a while.

Go Flames vs Rangers.
