Now that Commissioner Roger Goodell's power as the NFL's judge and jury has been called into question on the federal level........It's his turn to appeal!

I love Goodell's response how he's appealing the courts decision to uphold the responsibility to protect the integrity of the game.
Goodell is trying to protect the integrity of the game? As it's been said, Goodell wants desperately to hold onto absolute power over the players. I hope this is the beginning of the end of Goodell.

On that note.

Now Dallas Cowboys wife beater Greg Hardy is punching at the chance to take his battle to court. Fuck off Hardy.

If the players union is fair and true they'll tell Hardy to fuck off and sit down for 4. Fucker had 10 for beating a woman and is bitching over 4? He should be in jail.

Cmon guys, get your division, wild card, and super bowl picks posted. I can't be the only one dumb enough to do it.

Never mind, started a new thread. Post me there.

Jani Lane shows his support from the grave

Just for the record let's get the story straight
Rog and Teddy Wells were fishin' using PSI for bait
Out on a legal limb commishin' almost fell
Cause the say he's got no backbone, shouldn't run the NFL

Over on the sidlines and almost out of sight
Come two men textin' "under 12-5, right?"
QB Tom Brady didn't notice Jim
Haulin' twelve limp footballs down to the field for him

I know a secret bout QB Tom's Deflategate oh yea
I know a secret bout Roger Goodell

(Rog and Ted)
They didn't see QB Tom gettin' free
Neither one believin' the other one's story
Tossed out accusations, let 'em sink on down
cuz they knew there was no proof that would ever be found

I know a secret bout QB Tom's Deflategate oh yea
I know a secret bout Roger Goodell

I know a secret bout QB Tom's Deflategate
I know a secret bout Roger Goodell
I know a secret bout QB Tom's smashed cell phone
Know who poked the holes in the report of Wells

Soon as Tom got off, Rog & Ted got down
Prayin' real hard the appeal would be more sound
Tom's runnin' through the streets back to Uncle Bob Kraft
after the full moon shined through the Wells report cracks

Oh my God Tom, you really stuck it to Goodell
The Commish sure don't belong in the NFL
Keep your mouth shut, your career's still alive
Shove the trophy up his ass when he hands you number 5

I know a secret bout QB Tom's Deflategate
I know a secret bout Roger Goodell
I know a secret bout QB Tom's smashed cell phone oh yea

I know a secret bout Roger Goodell

Oh, I know a secret bout QB Tom's Deflategate
Know who poked the holes, know who poked the holes
in the report of Wells
oh yea

Wow that's actually sorta surprising after they just did the trade with Arizona. I thought Touchdown Jesus had got himself a spot on the team. Back to the SEC Network for you.

Yo Levi , you don't have cable tv? I shitcanned mine this summer.. I will be getting whatever Fox and CBS plays on Sundays. NBC, and Thursday nights..

Glad that CBS and NFL Network converged.

All I watch is football and Walking Dead so yeah, I got rid of cable. Saving 50 bucks a month. Everything else I watch can be interneted. Walking dead I'll watch via itunes or my girlfriend's DVR.

Redskins games I almost always watch at a sports bar.

Watching over the air really isn't an option for most - I've found Hi Def REALLY sucks if your reception is anything but 100 percent. Fortunately my window faces the Empire State Building where the antenna is so I'll be in good shape for tonight's game.

I use an antenna as well. Cut the cable 4-5 years ago. Same as you, Levi, I only watch sports on TV anyway. And yes, OTA HD signal/picture is sharper than cable.

Shitty thing is, CBS doesn't come in for me where I am, so catching the Chiefs at home is just about impossible. Have to go to a bar. They do play the Bears, and that will be on FOX, so that will be good.....

I got sick of paying for tv. so, 80 bucks more a month in the kitty every month. Like others. I can watch the shows I want , on the internet. We use that mostly.

I got a pretty good setup. I am about 45 miles away from the nearest tower. I don't get too many channels, but, I do get the locals, CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX and others. The HD quality is actually better than what I was getting on cable tv.

My friend has the NFL ticket, so, If i ever need to , I can bail over there, or just hit the bar up down the street that always has Cowboys games on. Sucked for the kid, but, I gave him a simple economics lesson and a history lesson or two.. He's good with it now. We don't miss it nearly as much as we thought we would.

Did they push the extra point back and bring the 2 point conversion up? They mentioned if the defense gets a turnover on a 2 point conversion and runs it all the way back they get 2 points.....Big deal.....

Not much of a surprise tonight. The Steeler's always seem to struggle at the first of the season. Even the Raiders have beaten them early in the season a couple times over the last meetings. And just like tonight, the Steeler's looked confused on D most of the game while the play calling on offense was questionable.

Nice win for the Pat's, fuck you Goodell and your air balls. He must have been too busy letting off drug users and woman beaters to show up for the game.

I like the Steelers but Mike Tomlin sure looked like a whiny bitch crying after the game. OMFG OMFG It's always with the Pat's! Even worse when your players says.

"In the Steelers' locker room after the game, linebacker Ryan Shazier didn't blame the headsets for the game's outcome. "I think we just have to do a better job," he said."

It just proves Tomlin is a shit coach. If he always has that problem in New England like he claims. Maybe, just maybe he should prepare and have a plan in place if that happens.

Chiefs #1 draft pick gets interception on Texans first play on offense. Kelce catches a TD pass. Great start! Oh darn, the Chiefs WRs still haven't caught a TD pass. So fucking what, as long as the Chiefs have more points than the other team at the end of the game. It doesn't matter who scores.

Add: Kelce TD catch #2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Texans fought their way back into the game, but Chiefs win. 5 sacks for the defense. 3 TD passes for Alex Smith. No turnovers.

    @ The Giants vs Cowgirls.............

Talk about which team wanted to lose the most. Biggest bone head play of the night was the giants not running the ball 3 times to run down the clock but Eli should have taken a fucking knee not toss it out of bounds to stop the clock! That should have been said in the huddle! It's play action, no one open I'm taking a knee! "COACH".....Hello coach? Are you there?

Fucking game of laughs, ugliest game of the week and I only watch the highlights and the last few minutes.

ROMO and team tried to give the Giants a win but the Giants weren't having in. Winning the game was like playing Hot Potato.
