Were you asleep for the last 8 years? Or maybe you were too busy pretending to be black.
WEAK SAUCE, BRO.

Did Barack Obama go on a victory tour after his first election and tell all his supporters "Hey, you know all that stuff I got you fired up about? You know, all those reasons you voted for me? I said all of that to get elected. And it worked! SO CONGRATS TO ME!!!"

Or are you referring to something else? Every Presidential campaign is a con just by their very nature but nothing so obvious as what Trump pulled on people. So many of his campaign promises were just IMPOSSIBLE and people like Trist, Revtard, and apparently you, gobbled it up.

He needs to be sent a jar of the very cheapest spaghetti sauce because he is truly weak sauce.

Do people actually think I "pretended to be black"?

That was a joke, dude.

This is why I didn't expect Trump's election, but I wasn't that surprised.

I have the sigs because I made a wager believing America wasn't stupid enough to elect a game show host as president. For a minute I forgot I live in the same country where Casey Anthony, OJ Simpson and George Zimmerman were all found not guilty and a mayor caught smoking crack on videotape could be re-elected to office, so of course the clown had a reasonable chance to be elected president by numbnuts like you...
I lost the wager and the sigs went up immediately the next day after the election and I had to make them... Unlike some thin skinned chickenshit Republitards who run away from the boards and respond to people on here via PM for 3 years or threaten the mod with a lead pipe over their sigs, I owned up and wore my sigs proudly, well beyond the time allotted for them to be displayed.. So fuck you kid.

Or it could be Clinton didn't say enough stupid shit during the campaign to warrant a 45 page thread. She was despised, just just wasn't the cartoon character your boy Drumpf is..

Huh?

Huh?

Keep your head buried kid.. I'm sure the Russians are completely innocent and would never attempt such a thing..

Had this accusation have been on Clinton, both you and Drumpf would be screaming about the commies stealin the election and you know it...

Barry had his Apology Tour.

President Barack Obama has finished the second leg of his international confession tour. In less than 100 days, he has apologized on three continents for what he views as the sins of America and his predecessors.

Mr. Obama told the French (the French!) that America "has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive" toward Europe. In Prague, he said America has "a moral responsibility to act" on arms control because only the U.S. had "used a nuclear weapon." In London, he said that decisions about the world financial system were no longer made by "just Roosevelt and Churchill sitting in a room with a brandy" -- as if that were a bad thing. And in Latin America, he said the U.S. had not "pursued and sustained engagement with our neighbors" because we "failed to see that our own progress is tied directly to progress throughout the Americas."

By confessing our nation's sins, White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said that Mr. Obama has "changed the image of America around the world" and made the U.S. "safer and stronger." As evidence, Mr. Gibbs pointed to the absence of protesters during the Summit of the Americas this past weekend.

I think it's funny that you (and others) still don't get it. Your party and their media arms lied to you. They still do. It wasn't just a bunch of toothless uneducated racists that voted for Trump. "Economists" that claimed eventual disaster with Trump didn't put their money where their mouth was, just the opposite actually.

The market is up almost 10% since the election. That is based on optimism for the incoming administration and the policies they plan to implement. Do you seriously think all those people that helped move the markets didn't vote Trump? Do you really think those people are all stupid and uneducated?? Do you think those people voted Trump because they were trying to "make America white again" (or whatever silly identity politics you guys are using now)???

Seriously, wake the fuck up!! The election is over. The side you hoped for lost. Go take some money Trump made you in your investments this past month and have some holiday fun you fucking pansy. If things go south in the future and this optimism becomes negative, you'll have plenty of time to whine about it with all your fellow delusional friends.

LMFAO, fucking hilarious. The market reflects positive news coming in from last quarter. The DOW has tripled under Obama. Trump said the market was a bubble. He's promising to return to the policies that tanked the economy under Baby Bush. Market would be over 20,000 had Clinton won. Trump if anything is holding it back. Half million left the labor force after Putin gave the election to Trump.

You obviously have no clue how the markets work. Trump was unexpected and the markets have made a sharp, distinct move since elected, go to November 8th and notice the shift. The election was the biggest catalyst. Hillary was priced in, Trump was not. They liked Trump obviously. If they didn't, the markets would've reflected that. More uninformed babble from the left..."it was good economic news that drove the markets up!!"

As for Obama, the high before the crash was 14k, he ended essentially 8 years later at 18k. GDP is crawling. We basically have kept the fed rate at zero to keep the economy on life support. Debt is at record highs despite no war and a decent market. I'll be wasting my time going further as surely someone will just throw this all away as "GOP talking points" and send some bogus link from "think progress.com".

The truth is, Trump and republicans were elected because economically we are crawling. Spin it how you want, the markets are happy with the change. Time will tell if they're correct.

LMFAO, sure thing dumb ass. Promising a return to the policies that tanked the economy under Bush drove the markets to a record high. Thanks for telling us how markets work idiot.

Thanks for another laugh dunce. The market is 19,800, not 18,000. The market reached 14K due to the housing bubble shit for brains. It was a bubble. The market is not now in a bubble, contrary to what Trump claims. GDP is not "crawling." Private GDP has grown 3%/year since the trough of the Bush recession in June 2009. It's great to parrot the crap you hear in the media but you'd be wise to educate yourself if you want to discuss these matters.

Private GDP Q3 2009: (14.3 - 3.1) = 11.2 trillion
Private GDP Q3 2016: (16.7 - 2.9) = 13.8 trillion

(13.8/11.2)^1/7 = 1.0302712492

radiobed wrote:

Wrong but once again you show that you merely parrot the crap you hear and don't know anything about economics. The Fed followed the market in cutting the funds rate to .25% and since inflation is low has had no reason to raise rates. The Fed raises rates to fight inflation. Since the economy is close to full employment and wages are raising, the Fed has raised rates twice.
radiobed wrote:Debt is at record highs despite no war and a decent market.
LMFAO, debt is always at "record high" dumb ass. You can add sovereign debt to the list of topics on which you are clueless. No war? Seriously? hahahaha......you're a joke. Of course Bush's tax cut and war had nothing to do with the debt accumulated under Obama and Trump will balance that budget with a tax cut and more defense spending. National debt increased 1.5 trillion dollars during Bush's final year in office. National debt grew from 9.2 trillion to 10.7 trillion during Baby Bush's last year. Look for a repeat under Trump/Putin.

I'm really not going to argue with dumb and dumber (or every loony lefty that wants to defend them). It's pointless to argue with people that don't know shit, but will spew bits of misinformation nonstop to argue or make a false point. For instance, he says Bush got to 14k because of the "housing bubble". Will you also discredit Bill Clinton's stock market because of the "tech bubble"?? Shit gets overbought, bonds are actually currently experiencing a pending bubble.

Just know this, the market was 18,300 on November 8th. On that date, something completely unexpected happened. Trump won the election. The markets in just over 1 month have reached nearly 20,000. That is a clear signal that the markets expect an upturn. If they were pessimistic like you dolts suggest, the markets would be tanking. The markets are always ahead of what's happening.

According to your naive and quasi-mystical understanding of the economy, this clearly indicates that the uptick is the result of unbridled enthusiasm for the election results. That's a non-sequitur, plain and simple, "logic guy."

Not quite. The headline is: "World Order "Unraveling"?" - and they are patently quoting John McCain, the subject of the article. It's not even a purported assertion of fact. It is, however, good clickbait.

(Edit: 'World' obviously, not 'word').

Yeah, and.... the stock market has risen to new heights, consumer confidence increased "significantly" and existing-home sales rose. Gonna credit that to Putin as well?

And don't forget this part of the article you posted...

When President Obama took office -- amid a recession -- in January 2009, 80,529,000 Americans were not in the labor force, and that number rose steadily during his two terms, reaching 94,708,000 this past May, a record eclipsed in November. And the labor force participation rate, a key measure of labor force activity, reached a 38-year low of 62.4 percent on Obama's watch, in September 2015. It’s only 0.3 percent higher than that now.

14 million is a hella big increase under Barry's watch.
