It doesn't......And neither do you!
You're nothing but a Solid Gold Dancer fan-girl who acts like Tom Landry fucking the Cowboys Cheerleaders. Arctic Eskimos have more football knowledge. If you was a Bears fans you could actually make people hate Walter Payton.
You're the Ford Pinto of football fans, embarrassing, gutless, laughable, worthless and self exploding all while suffering from the worst case of Peter Pan Syndrome in medical history.

There isn't enough emoticons to fill one of your posts and combined with your illiteracy, they read like Egyptian hieroglyphs.

Lot of news coming out of DC, the SKINS backed themselves in a corner.
Cousins don't sound hip for a team friendly contract. Will that put him on the market, give him a deal or the Tag? He will be one of the highest paid QB's if he stay's either way. Everyone points a finger at the D but he can't carry the team for his price and that offense full of weapons folded as well. The late INT's vs Dallas, Giants, Cardinals....The Panthers loss...2 wins in last 6...Kirk = 5tds, 5ints, 2fum's in the last 5 games, missed the post by that I-----I much. I'm not buying into Kirk, they should have done it last season.

I was pulling for the Skins it was a tough loss, they should have beat the Giants let alone the Panthers....I can't tell if Cousins needs a line or if he's related Jay Cutler, he BLEW up the yards but ended many of them with a dagger in the heart.

Giving him the Tag burned the Skins. Yet here they are once more except now he's looking at around 24mill, 5/120m. Along with the rumors of letting him go early indications are Washington is looking at TAGGING him at 24.7mill. They have a lot offense talent, let Kirk hit the market, pick up some FA, add some D and maybe go after a Garoppolo or the depth chart but the franchise tag is just digging a deeper hole.

Josh Norman's antics hurt them Sunday and his 20mill on the cap is another hit. They have some FA to deal with so at this point the Skins are in a corner with an above average QB asking top dollar price. Should have done it last year.

I'd like to hear Levi's or a Skins fan take on Cousins. I know some who hate him while others say pay him.
One things for sure, the Tag is getting nowhere.

Cousins has got them by the balls if I was the Redskins I'd give him a multi year contract. Don't fuck around and put the tag on him for next year. And Josh Norman is a idiot he hurt his team when they needed the win or else it's over. He'd fit in just fine with the bunch of idiots on defense over in Cincinnati.

ESPN will lose $75 million televising Raiders-Texans!

http://www.outkickthecoverage.com/espn- ... ans-010217

what's the worst television contract in all of sports? I thought it was the recent deal that the NBA signed with ESPN and Turner, but I was wrong. Turns out that it's actually ESPN's deal with the NFL which allows ESPN to carry one wild card game each year. This year ESPN will be televising the worst wild card game of the bunch in the worst time slot on the worst day for NFL football, the Oakland Raiders at the Houston Texans on Saturday afternoon.

It's a battle between Matt McGloin/Connor Cook and Tom Savage/Brock Osweiler for the right to advance to play the New England Patriots and be executed on live television.

Until today I thought that at least ESPN was getting this wild card game as part of the $1.9 billion a year it pays for Monday Night Football and assorted other NFL studio shows. That Monday Night Football package just hit the lowest ratings in nearly a decade and narrowly avoided becoming the worst rated package of games in over forty years of Monday Night Football. But I was wrong about this game being included in that deal.

It turns out, and this is positively mind boggling, that ESPN pays $100 million dollars just to air this single wild card game.

Seriously, ESPN is paying $100 million to televise Raiders at Texans on Saturday.

Every other network that carries the NFL -- NBC, CBS, and Fox -- has their playoff games or the Super Bowl, which rotates between NBC, CBS and Fox each three years, included within their yearly rights fee. Except for ESPN, which pays an extra $100 million for one crappy wild card game.

But, wait, it gets worse.

ESPN can only make around $25 million airing this wild card game.

So ESPN will lose $75 million televising one playoff football game.

Holy. Shit.

This means the wild card game on ESPN is the worst contract in the history of American sports on television and I'm not sure there's even a close second. Between now and 2021, when this contract runs out, ESPN will lose over $600 million airing this one crappy wild card game a year.

And here's the kicker, the game is also simulcast for free on ABC. So you don't even need a cable package to watch this game. That is, ESPN derives no benefit whatsoever from airing this game exclusively on cable.

Think that's bad? It gets worse.

The NFL assigns ESPN the worst wild card game in the worst time slot on the worst day possible and then decides whether or not it wants to take the $100 million each year. That is, ESPN doesn't even get to choose whether it wants to air the game or not. The NFL just says, "You're airing it, give us $100 million."

Putting this contract into terms that everyone can easily understand, the NFL is the guy telling ESPN to squeal like a pig in Deliverance.

Remember when everyone thought the Texans made a mistake signing Brock Osweiler for $37 million guaranteed? At least the Texans get Osweiler for 32 games at that rate. Hell, that's just over a million a game. ESPN is going to lose $75 million just televising one of Osweiler's games.

We need to update the worst free agent deals of all time. Move over Dan Snyder, your signing of Albert Haynesworth looks like a bargain compared to ESPN's signing of the NFL wild card game.

-------------------------------------------------------------

The best part to this story, 4 days ago our local ABC blocked out DISHNETWORK over a contract dispute so I couldn't watch the Packers vs Lions or the Raiders vs Texans anyway........Now with ESPN I get to watch this gun slinging battle at home without attaching rabbit ears!

Good Games ESPN! 100 Million is worth one Wild Card game a year.....Maybe next year ESPN will get lucky with Kirk Cousin hopefully new 5/120m Redskins vs Tampa Bay...........Now ESPN needs to hire Joe Buck, Troy Aikman and add Cris Collinsworth in the booth.

Finalists for the 2017 HOF are

LaDainian Tomlinson, Jason Taylor and Brian Dawkins, Morten Andersen, Tony Boselli, Isaac Bruce, Don Coryell, Terrell Davis, Alan Faneca, Joe Jacoby, Ty Law, John Lynch, Kevin Mawae, Terrell Owens and Kurt Warner.

Ladainian should sit out his first year of eligibility for being the biggest bitch during playoff games fucking cry-baby poseur.

That said, I think Andersen should join Jan Stenerud in the hall. I also think that Tony Boselli, Alan Faneca and Ty Law should get the nod.
I think Taylor is a certainty, though I don't think he is a first ballot HOF.
I am sure Kevin Mawae will get in one day, as will John Lynch. Oh, and fuck Terrell Owens and Kurt Warner (though both will likely get in at some point.)

Round 1 of NFL Playoffs. Who you got?

Houston edges Raiders. Not sure it will be a lopsided game but the odds of
Connor Cook moving the ball with any regularity is slim to none.
Houston 20
Raiders 9

Lions have been slumping and going to Seattle is difficult. That being said,
these Seahawks can be beat. As much as I want Detroit to win, I think Seattle wins at home
Seattle 28
Detroit 17

Miami goes on the road with either the back up QB or an injured starter returning after the
MCL injury. Dolphins don't have a chance. They are bleeding and limping going to Pitt.
Big Ben and his experience carry the team to victory
Pittsburgh 35
Miami 10

The big match up of the week. The game everybody wants to see and the game nobody thought
was possible. GB at home, after running the table to win the NFC North. Giants WR's were
partying in Miami on Monday. Which team is focused? Not the Giants
Green Bay 27
Giants 16

Steelers are gonna hang a 50 burger on the phins.

Giants are peaking at the right time. They end the Pack's table run, and get one step closer to Giants Pats III

Most the picks seem straight forward this weekend with a slight chance of upsets. I'm with ya on Seattle and Pittsburgh.

Raiders vs Houston - With Lamar good to go Houston should have their way.
Oakland's IR list continues to grow..All 3 WR's, both safety's, 1/2 the OL limited or did not participate. When Carr went down the team died, vs Denver DelRio couldn't rally the troops at all. I'm curious to see if he's got anyone fired up or if they play dead. It very well could be a replay of last week vs Denver.
Slight chance for a Raider upset, Cook could possible spark Oakland from the grave with some early plays but odds are the Texans D will stop anything DelRio comes up with. Cook will be Blitzed often so he'll have to hit the RB & Hot Reads McGloin embarrassingly couldn't. The Raiders D could make Osweiler look average, they rarely blitz so it's on the shoulders of the front 4 pressure..It's gonna be an UGLY GAME, kicking, field position, 3 to 4+ turnovers....
The Raiders will have to win the T/O battle and generate point's from them if they expect to win. It's Houston's game to lose. Possible tight, probable blow out. Bad passes, missed tackles, big plays to wide open or untouched players. Not shocked if Houston scores on their first possession and Oakland puts up 10 or less.

Fish vs Steelers - Steelers should dominate this. They've choked a couple and sputtered a few but this should be a donkey punch. I can't picture a Dolphins win even if Ajayi goes off. It's a shocker they're even in the playoffs. Clearly Pit's going to load the box. The only chance for the Fish is if they find a way to get constant pressure and can keep it close and keep running. Only interesting part of this match is getting to watch Bell and Ajayi pound the ball but I expect the Fish to abandon the run if and when they fall behind.

Giants vs Packers - Interesting match....Could be a good game but I'm going with the Packers to win in control or runway in the 2nd half....If the Giants do anything I see it being early then slipping away. The Pack has been hot but they've choked before. I don't think it will be vs the Giants.

Lions vs Hawks - Hawks.....Another team that has the ability to not show up, Seattle's offense is a puzzle. Like the Packers, it might be a game but Seattle should pull away or stop the Lion's from pulling ahead. Seattle's game to lose.

I don't think the Lions, Fish or Giants are all that. Seattle, Steelers and Packers are dangerous teams who've had hiccups at times. If they bring their A game they shouldn't have any problems.

Biggest chance for upsets, the NFC games. Pack vs Giants

Lions over Seahawks

Giants over Packers

You should hear the Raider fans who are making excuses non stop after the game. Earlier this morning I tuned in to local
sports shows and the Raider fans were arrogant. Claiming that even without Carr, the team was good enough in at least
two out of three phases of the game. This fans sounded like they were already making plans for Round 2 of the playoffs.
Typical Raider fans. Delusional and out of touch with reality.

Would have been fun to see Carr play this game and see how far he could take this team. But then again it is a lot of
fun to see the Raiders fail once again.

So, the home teams won. I hope all of the ex-Pats personnel on Houston's coaching staff gives the Texans some insight. I'd like to see Houston give them some kind of game. Obviously, I'm rooting for the Dolphins today. The Steelers could very well go into Arrowhead and kill the Chiefs. They did it in week 4 on national TV. It was at Pitt, but I don't think home field advantage means shit for the Chiefs. They've lost every home playoff game for like 40 years, so history is not on KC's side.

P.S. Pretty disappointed the Lions weren't better than they were. How fucking sick of Seattle and New England is everyone?! Christ......
