Re: President Trump
Yep, currently I think most left leaners have a distinction between Trump and his cronies and the rest of the Republicans. But that will change if the likes of Ryan try to block democrats going about their normal business. I suppose "regular Republicans" see it as win-win. Either Trumps administration takes all the heat for the shit they pull, and/or at some point Trump gets impeached/resigns and Pence takes over. Mid terms is the only chance Dems have of making a strike back.

Seriously though, it's quite silly to assume a billionaire like Trump must be corrupt yet "public servants" that came in with virtually nothing and have filled their pockets are somehow not. Politicians have been taking millions and millions of lobbyist dollars for their own self interests for years but now your freaked out that a multi billionaire in office is only there to make himself more billions?!? Ok....

You still haven't pointed out exactly how Bernie Sanders is corrupt, just that he has 3 houses and that's suspicious to you.radiobed wrote:Of course they can, anyone can. Meanwhile, Donald Trump is quite possibly the most corrupt President we've ever seen and you're like "I think he wants to help people. I really do."
This is why you're constantly being pwned.

If there's one thing we've all been able to see from this relentless scrutiny of Trump it's his con artist tactics. I guarantee you every dime he's brought in has been the product of shady, unscrupulous dealings. He will go down as the most heinously crooked president in history when it's all done, I'd bet my house on it. Only exception would be if he gets run out of office before he can manage to rack it up.Chip Z'Hoy wrote:radiobed wrote:it's quite silly to assume a billionaire like Trump must be corrupt

1. I'm definitely not being constantly "pwned"
2. So you question my proof on Bernie going from food stamps at 40 to career public servant with 3 homes yet your proof on Trump being corrupt is he's rich!!! shady!!! Slimy!!! look at the proof I found in Huffington Post!!!
Seriously dude, Bernie was owned by the corrupt union leaders. Look at his campaign donations more closely. He also took a ton of money from tech companies worried about losing cheap labor!!! That's what all this immigration/refugee nonsense is about, protecting sources of cheap labor. You think these politicians really care about human rights?!?
Then look at university costs?? Why was Bernie looking to foot the bill vs question a system way outpacing inflation with their out of control costs?!?
Every politician can have their angles.
Is it possible Bernie wasn't being corrupted but rather just playing to his constituency to get elected and do more good than harm?? It's possible but I'd say very unlikely.
Regardless, you and your tag team crew of 9 or 10 people might be the predominant view here but in life you're losing the battle. Trump was elected. The Senate, House and Governors are all republican majority. Fox News is trashing CNN which is now being called fake news. I know it sucks for most of you but this is reality.
I gotta work now, rip me a new one and I'll try to respond to anyone that piques my interest later.
Re: President Trump
And real quick, while I am conservative. I'm mostly against big government. That's one thing I don't love about Trump, he wants to do too much. I want them to do the bare minimum because they can't help themselves from being corrupted...republicans as well, not just democrats.

Re: President Trump
As I wait for my lunch, I enjoy the challenge of debating 10 vs 1 (me). It's like I'm a Trump surrogate on the Don Lemon show.
Joe you're hopeless, Chip same thing.
Danzig: I disagree with you for the most part obviously but at least occasionally you make some good points...and you're not just a propoganda spammer like Joe/Turner/etc. I actually have a couple questions for you:
What do you personally love about Bernie and which of his policies do you think would really work that we actually need?? Are there any things about him that cause you concern??
To answer my "dodge", I understand Trump has a lot of real estate and could look to solely benefit himself. I personally do not believe he got into this to enrich himself. I think he's a rich guy with a big ego that was frustrated with government and thinks he can fix everything. I believe he wants to feed his ego by accomplishing this goal. Will he succeed?? Am I completely misreading him?? Do the Russians own him as Joe links daily??? Time will tell but I (along with those that move the markets) am fairly optimistic. It's ok for us to disagree on that point and have a discussion.
As for the random hanger on trying to be a wordsmith saying conservatives and small government go hand in hand. I agree!!! My point was I'm a conservative based mainly on their small government principles. I'm not conservative as much when it comes to things like pro life, religion, and other things that might label one a conservative.

Re: President Trump
You're so fucking stupid. Trump was using the GOP machine to promote himself and his brand. He did not want to win or believe he could win. He was pandering to the racist idiots who make up the GOP base. Turns out they're a lot of them and they gave him the nomination and then the White House. Now he is in way, way over his head. He was not prepared for this job and he can't do it. It's only a matter of time before he either resigns or is impeached.radiobed wrote: I personally do not believe he got into this to enrich himself. Oh Exit relax, you just hadn't stuck out initially so I lumped you with the anonymous hanger-ons. When I noticed it was you I was calling a "hanger on" every time, I just stuck with it.
Someone like Chip makes a post every 21 seconds so he stood out. That and I kept hearing how he's so good at "this"...whatever "this" means.
Joe sticks out because scrolling over his loud mouthed CAPS LOCK posts/spam is like walking past vomit on a sidewalk in front of a college frat.
Our resident language arts teacher Poison sticks out cause she's the most eloquent writer. She also impressed me when she quickly understood the circuit court statistics and pointed out a counter to how "rogue" the 9th circuit is. Are you teaching Pre Calc now too?!?
Danzig stands out because she's the best far left debater. Big fish, tiny pond.
Stoner stands out because she's authentic and wouldn't need or want a bunch of people to help her in a debate like Joe does.
Sebastian Pink Text stands out cause she's a proud meth user and feels it's our human responsibility to not turn our back on failed suicide bombers!!
Turner Coates stands out as the guy with an AOL email account that sends out at least 10 forwarded emails/spam every fucking week!!
Buttnoid stands out as the most intelligent and independent thinker on the board. The only possible knock I could have on him is, how the fuck can he spend so much time with you fucking loons?!?
