He didn’t think of any of the “Ill do this for my base” angle until after the fact. Just like announcing just now that we’re exiting our partership with the WHO. It’s for him. He doesn’t like them pointing out things he should have done or said better. It looks good to his base, but he didn’t do it for them.

Leaning towards this. We've been going on YEARS of this "conservative are being censored on social media." He didn't do shit. He finally gets fact-checked and there's an executive order the same week.
It's a bonus that his base eats stuff like that up. But he didn't one fuck when James Woods was suspended on Twitter, or when his buddy Alex Jones got deplatformed entirely.

On Friday, out of an abundance of caution, the secret service moved Trump into the bunker under the White House.

Also in his speech he said something to the effect that he is deploying the military to cities AND protecting our 2nd amendment rights? WTF?
