At this point would you rather see Vince Solo or Motley Crue?
Motley Crue
1. You have to buy $200 tickets a year in advance.
2. Parking $50-$100 bucks.
3. Beers $24 dollars, shite shirts $60.
4. 3/4's of the entire seizure inducing set is Milli Vanillied.
5. Watching John 5 play slung-high rock guitar across his nipples.
Vince Solo
1. $35 dollar tickets
2. Free parking.
3. 12 dollar beers and 25 dollar shite shirts.
4. Live AF, complete butchering the way it was intended.
5. Vince runs (walks slowly) offstage at the 48 minute mark and yer home in bed by 11pm!
While I realize the majority of us would rather watch an anal bleaching marathon than either of these choices, please vote which one you would do if properly blackmailed.
Thank you for your consideration.

And John 5 dresses like a complete idiot. Every shot of him standing next to Vince looks so odd. Vince may not be the pretty boy he used to be but he at least has that old guy biker/rocker look down.
John 5 is one step away from being one of the gay boys for Madonna during "Vogue"...

Saw Vince solo at a casino right around the time I saw Crue on their 2014 (or whenever) farewell tour.
Vince solo was way more fun. Nowadays you don’t even get to hear Mick play guitar with Crue, so the choice is easy.

Rainbow Anniversary party, with Bulletboys playing unplugged reggae versions of their hits in support. Paul Shortino's Quiet Riot is rumored to open the show.

Unplugged, eh?

I clicked on it with the intent of selecting Motley Crue, but they way you laid it out, I went with Vince.
The MC would have a much better production sound (we know why), but the $$$ and time pushed me to Vince.

As Josh Homme would say, “I’d rather shit hot knives” than ever see Motley Crue again or see Vince solo once.

John5 is a dorky clown who can really play guitar. He’s not even remotely suited for Motley. Especially since it seems that a lot of the “live” show is Memorexed……fuck that.
Definitely Vince solo just as long as he would have a REAL drummer and not that clown Zoltan (or whatever the fuck his name is)!!
These days there are a handful of Motley Crue tribute acts around that sound way better than the current “real” version…..

This is a funny/interesting question.
I guess there's been other situations like this. Stephen Pearcy's band sounds great these days so it might be true there, too.

I saw Vince for about 5 bucks a few years ago. I did not go to the stadium tour when it rolled into town.
So another vote for Vince

I'd go to the solo show, I might luck out and get 1 or 2 songs from Exposed.
When I saw the "final" Crüe tour, the setlist was just meh, not much in the way of deep cuts aside from Louder Than Hell... So watching Vince mail it in in a "tiny" venue is the better option.

Re: At this point would you rather see Vince Solo or Motley Crue?
Motley knowing it’s a huge backing track piped in with some live lyrics ruins all of the evening for me.
Would rather watch a hopefully not so drunk/overweight Vince play a casino show for 75 minutes at $40. Real talk,
people only want to hear 6-7 Motley classics and call it a night without the huge stadium hassle and expense.

Gun to my head, I'd go to the Vince show. There are plenty of things to do at a state fair, or maybe a county fair at this point. I wouldn't get bored and hopefully the carnival games and makeshift arcade are far enough away from the stage I wouldn't have to hear him.

No chance you would get an exposed song. When was the last time he played an exposed song on tour?Psychobolia.com wrote: ↑Wed Jan 17, 2024 3:40 pm I'd go to the solo show, I might luck out and get 1 or 2 songs from Exposed.

Strum, Blando and Zoltan are more entertaining than Sixx, 5 and Lee…

I’d rather stay home.
Re: At this point would you rather see Vince Solo or Motley Crue?
I still don't understand why Vince doesn't play a couple of his solo songs. Both those albums were good.

He used to play Look in Her Eyes a lot as well, it's the single solo song on his 2003 live album.
