It’s excellent… but Dogman is their best song.

Can’t argue with Dogman, but I like King quite a bit, Germany, Flies and Blue Skies. Cigarettes is outstanding though!

Off Gretchen Summerland is great, but every time I hear Fall On Me it gets stuck in my head, I'd put that on top.
Dogman obviously has Dogman, but Black the Skies is pretty killer, Cigarettes right up there, and don't forget Complain.
It's all really f*ing good to be honest. The melodies, harmonies, groove, good stuff.
Ear Candy has The Train, Sometimes and Looking for Love, all killer.

Sounds like 3 Doors Down. I'd enjoy this if I was sporting a crew cut and watching RAW Is War in 2003.

Most days I'd pick Visions, in part from my memory of how they played it the first time I saw them. But there are at least a dozen more including some mentioned above plus The Burning Down and The Difference.

Off the top of my head, I'd go with Dogman, The Train, or Pray, but they're all fantastic. I think it depends on what you're in the mood for.

Good song, but Goldilox is their best, IMO.

Dogman is the best album and "Pretend" is a great song. If you've only heard "It's Love", and "Over My Head", you aren't familiar with King's X.

No love for "Black Flag"?

I'd go with It's Love as well. Goldilox a close second

"Over My Head", even with its repetitive lyrics, is my pick for their best song. The aforementioned "It's Love", "Summerland", and "Black Flag" are probably my next three favorites after that.

Great choice! I also agree with you on people simply naming singles/videos.Rocker4Real wrote: ↑Tue Mar 19, 2024 10:21 pm Dogman is the best album and "Pretend" is a great song. If you've only heard "It's Love", and "Over My Head", you aren't familiar with King's X.

Yes you really need to dive deeper into the catalog of a never-was band in order to find out how truly mediocre they really are.

There's no excuse these days to listen to one album. I always make my own playlists and delete the widely known songs.WOLF wrote: ↑Wed Mar 20, 2024 3:16 pmGreat choice!
